A very good mouse for the price

I own three of them, the one I recently bought off of Best Buy being the third one, and possibly will buy more. The mouse is great. Not just for gaming and all, but even for normal day to day use. The scroll wheel is the best I’ve ever seen on a mouse, one click and the wheel goes from stepwise to gliding up and down. The mouse has rubberized grippy textures around the thumb rest and it feels great. The complaints I have, is with the companion software and the difficulty of disassembly. The companion software apparently isn’t open source and needs to be installed for sensitivity customizations and button configuration. But Logitech isn't the only company doing either if these things, so not too unhappy. All in all, the mouse feels great in my hands and I love using it.

The adjustable weights, all buttons being responsive, etc. My major gripe with this is the track wheel. I absolutely hate it. It spins endlessly- like you can give it a good spin and it’ll be going for 10-15 seconds. Precision is very, very bad. With smaller movements, you’ll frequently move further than you wanted. So let’s say you have a hot key bar on your screen and you want to move from slot 1 to slot 2. You can’t- you’ll hit 4, and then backtrack too far, and finally after much finagling you may eventually reach the intended target. There really needs to be some sort of friction on the wheel, or like intermediate gradations so you don’t scroll too far.
