It is hard plastic, so placing your hand on it feels slick to the touch. That will change in time once you get your oily hands on it and starts building up with oil and dust.

Some I didn't even realize existed until I accidentally clicked the button. On that same note it is easy to inadvertently click a button you did not click which can be a pain on occasion.
