I'm pretty sure is was designed for gaming so there are a lot of external buttons than most desktop users will ever use. The only drawback is the buttons are too close together and I find myself hitting one of the programming keys by accident.

I have had this mouse about eleven months and i have no regrets. I game around 4 hours a day and i love it. The cord is great and never in my way.

Nice upgrade from the original g502

Got this one and can tell the sensor is much more accurate. They changed the cord. The old one had a weave mesh on it. New one was lighter and for me had less snags on things on my desk. Good gaming mouse overall for the price.

Great Gaming and all around mouse

With the new home office situation my wife used it for work until I got her a more appropriate mouse. She thought it worked well.
