Logitech's switches have been going down in quality over the past few years, even though they're supposed to be rated for an insanely high number of clicks. My husband has now gone through 7 or 8 mice in the past year, including 3 of these, because the switches just fail prematurely and cause random double-clicks. He's not rough on his mice; I'm far more abusive with my gaming clicks than he is, and I've had my mouse (same model) for over 3 years now.
