Mouse isn't my favorite mouse. Just not my preference as this mouse was for the wife I prefer the g303 shroud but that isn't saying either one is better just what style you prefer. Seems like you can't go wrong with a logitech mouse as I never have issues with Logitech mice. They have great software unlike many other brands and I don't seem to experience much issues with Logitech products ever. Razer on the other hand has giving me issues after issues with multiple different products and I have just given up on them at this point cause I don't think they will ever sort the software issues out as it has been years now.

After putting around 50 hours into using this, I can say this easily beats its more expensive comptetition. The fact that its wired means less latency, plus you wont have to worry about a dead battery in a crucial moment. The DPI adjustments are fantastic, allowing you to switch between 5 different speeds that can be adjusted at any time. Lastly, and my personal favorite, the scroll wheel. Being able to unlock it and just let it rip has made web browsing FANTASTIC.

I cannot say enough positive things about this mouse. Using the Logitech G Hub software, you're able to customize everything from the DPI to RGB light sync to button mapping. This mouse even comes with weights you can add to make it heavier, which is a nice touch for those who prefer a heavier mouse. I definitely recommend this mouse for gaming as well as everyday use.

It has been a long, long time since I had a wired mouse. It is very responsive and very easy to customize to buttons. I'm a Linux user and the Hero is fully compatible. Most mice always felt too light so I especially liked the option to add addition weights for a more custom feel. I could do without the RGB lighting but as this was on sale it was hard to pass up. I think that the same rubber grippy stuff that is on the "thumb hold" and along the right side should also be on the left/right buttons.

I've been using this exact mouse for 3 years. It is comfortable in the hand for prolonged gaming sessions. The Logitech software allows me to edit the RGB along with the DPI settings to fine tune the sensitivity of the mouse. I've used the mouse extensively & it functions flawlessly even 3 years later.

idk if it's just me, but compared to my razer basilisk, this felt weird. the scroll wheel felt off, and the wire attached to it didn't make it feel very smooth when moving around. Try not to use it on a crowded desk where the wire will run into stuff.

Wonderful mouse. It's very ergonomic, fitting comfortably and naturally into my hand. The adjustable macro buttons make it great for gaming. Easy sensitivity adjustment on the mouse, when combined when in game sensitivity, allow for precise movement in whatever you're playing. Hard to beat quality to price ratio.

Ordered for a Christmas gift for someone else seeing as I already have this mouse and love it! I love Logitech products and my brother-in-law wanted a corded computer mouse for the holidays because he's a PC gamer, so I knew this would be perfect. From my experience, this mouse is ideal for gaming (duh) or if you're a photo/video editor, cannot recommend a gaming mouse for editing enough! I've used this and other Logitech mice for editing and they work so well. Additionally, if you're a fan of RGB lights on your setup then perfect! This offers the perfect little burst of color without being obnoxious.

I don't have a lot of other gaming mice to compare this too, but I can say, this mouse is smooth, and comes with a lot of button options as well of of course RGB lighting. The two DPI buttons make it super easy to change you mouse DPI on the fly, or you can set preferences based on the software in use. This mouse feels nice to handle, and glides across the pad. The optional weight bars give it a nice solid feel, so you'll probably want to insert those. So far everything about this mouse has been great.

    Love-hate relationship

There is no doubt that Logitech knows how to make a good mouse - the hardware and build quality are great, and the design is aesthetically pleasing. The finely textured surface on the right side and thumb rest are a nice feature and help maintain purchase on an otherwise slick surface. The RGB lighting is sparse, but differentiates this model as something more than your standard mouse. But what really sets this mouse apart from others is the scroll wheel, and that's what drives my love-hate relationship. I love the fact that the wheel can be "unlocked" with a click of a button, and turn into a free-spinning scroll that really enhances zooming in or out in games, or moving up and down web pages or spreadsheets quickly. But this same feature also renders the middle click function nearly useless, as you are more apt to trigger the left click sensor of the wheel. Finer control of the middle click can be restored by enabling the tension button, but for some reason Logitech choose to go without a rubber (friction) surface on the wheel, so more times than not your finger will slide over the surface without moving it. Pressing harder on the wheel to get some friction will cause a click of the middle button. I really want to love this mouse, but for that reason, I just can't. If you have large hands (as I do), a fingertip-grip is required. This took some getting used to, as I switched from a mouse that allowed a palm grip (my preference). Also, The programmable software (G Hub) is generic and counter-intuitive. I don't want to spend any time tweaking features because of the poor software design. TL;DR: Pros: Free spinning scroll wheel Hardware quality (tracking sensor, buttons) Aesthetically pleasing design Great pricing (around $40 on sale) Customizable (weights, programmable buttons, RGB) Cons: Friction-less wheel surface G Hub software May not work for large hands Right hander's only

Really good after replacing my 5-year-old mouse due to wear and tear this works excellent I enjoy the many features it has. I often game and play complicated games which require keybinds and this mouse has exquisite buttons to bind spare keys to. Love it do not regret purchasing this product. Great mouse.

I tried a few Razer mice and never really liked the fit to my hand. While this is extremely subjective, I found the Logitech Hero to fit my hand perfectly, and I like being able to control how heavy it is with the included weights. Being able to de-click the scroll wheel is also amazing when blasting through forums or lengthy menus. On the fly dpi adjustments are amazing when playing OW and swapping between different heroes with different tracking styles too!

This mouse has a great feel to it. I wish the overall size was just slightly bigger, but that is the only downside I've found so far. As of this review, I've used it for about 15 hours in total and it's been great! The scroll wheel is fantastic in both scrolling options. The ability to add weights has been awesome as well. For the more casual, non-fps players, this mouse has been well worth the purchase so far.

Great Upgrade but a Few Flaws...

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I've had this mouse for a few months now and I absolutely love it. I am upgrading from the Corsair Glaive, so naturally, I would prefer a heavy mouse. This mouse grants you the option to add weights to the bottom of it via a small compartment, and have added as many as I could. However, I noticed that if you add a weight near the magnetic closure piece, it will make the back plate to access the weight compartment more likely to fall off, and this can result in your mouse not being able to sense the tabletop as well and overall interrupt gameplay. I remedied this by just not having a weight in that slot. Otherwise, this mouse is everything I could have wanted. I love all the buttons I can keybind and the fact I can unlock the scroll wheel. Now, here's something else that is not so great... This mouse utilizes the Logitech software to allow you to customize it, but I also have a Blue Yeti, so it also automatically links to this software. The software for the Blue Yeti is terrible, and has made is so my microphone doesn't function as well. I had to go through the trouble of completely disabling the software from modifying my Blue Yeti.

The Logitech G502 hero mouse is an excellent choice for everyday use, work from home, just about anything you could think of. I did review a lot of other products on the Internet, most of them seem like they would be viable options but, in the end, I went with Logitech. Some of the reasons for choosing Logitech were brand name, experience, and some of the products I still have are very durable and have been with me for several years. This mouse it's simple to use, there are several buttons to use back and forth scrolling up and down and paging forward and back. Very convenient. I do like the option you have to click for the scrolling button you can either choose for it to roll smoothly or traditionally with the clicks. Allowing it to roll smoothly is a great option, to me anyway, because when you want to scroll back up to the top of the page you just flick it once and it continues roll and you get back up to the top page no problem. There are options to customize this with various colors, you can go through the G hub select your product and you can customize it from there. Other customization options on the G hub are DPI you can designate different buttons for different uses whatever you feel comfortable with. Overall, I think Logitech got it right with this one. Again, this mass will more than meet your needs, yes some cases may surpass them as they have mine.
