I first bought the G502 back in 2016. I was new to PC gaming and just trying to get all my ducks in a row gear-wise. Now I can't imagine myself using any other mouse! I re-purchased the G502 because my previous one was wearing out a bit. Four years ago I recommended this mouse and still do (I got one of my closest friends to buy the mouse so consider this two five-star reviews rolled into one).

I’ve never owned a gaming mouse before so I don’t have much to compare it to. I really like how it fits into my small/medium sized hands. At first, it felt slippery when gaming, but I’ve since gotten used to it. The weight is not too heavy compared to a Consair mouse I was about to get, which is great. It could be lighter, but I’m loving it so far. Also, I love the amount of buttons there is on the mouse. I make use of all of them when playing Apex. Besides the mouse; the Logitech software is very confusing to use and doesn’t seem to be very beginner friendly. It was hard trying to figure out how to keybind. I wish they made it easier for us newbies.

It's a style I knew I personally liked. The buttons are in good positions and I can adjust the profile of the mouse that fits what I need to use it for.

This mouse completely changed the game for me with online gaming using my IMAC. I highly recommend this mouse if you plan on playing games on your IMAC.

I love the extra buttons. Software could use some work; most certainly not user-friendly. Scroll wheel is too loose, and makes a rattling noise when the mouse is moved. Mouse is too skinny; it doesn't have a good place for my ring finger to rest, and the right side ridge is too small to reliably help pick up the mouse. All the buttons are easy to reach, and add a lot of value to everyday tasks as well as gaming. A ring finger rest/shelf would fix these two problems and make it a 4.5 star mouse. Fix the software and maybe it gets a 5.

Good fit in the hand. Scrolling wheel nice and smooth and works very with my computer.

For the price point of this mouse it is pretty hard to beat... or complain. My only issue is with the placement of the side button that is a bit awkward when using the mouse. Once you get used to it, it is no longer a problem. Would certainly buy again.

In a world were there is a push by many to make mice lighter and lighter, I like a heavy mouse. This mouse comes with weights that can be installed in the bottom to add the weight I like. The mouse is molded for right hand use so it would not be for left handers. Has RGBs not my thing but ok, note RGB software can at times mess with AMD motherboard drivers (so I just leave it in factory default). This seems to be an issue will much of the industries RGB software, not just logitech. (ASUS Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, etc have at times caused issues on various client machines- I do IT)
