For the first 6 months it was a great mouse, probably the best sensor I've ever experienced in a mouse. The software is unintrusive and the button mappings stick if you software is closed (not even running in the background). The problem starts with both mice, and another one I own (3 in total) all exhibiting the double click issue 6-10 months into ownership. What happens is you click the mouse, and it behaves as if you're double clicking. Logitech having an outbreak of these issues also makes the process of getting them replaced borderline impossible so its simply best to avoid them.

Great for both gaming and regular computer use. The two side buttons are good enough for me, and being able to unlock the scrollwheel to scroll super fast is useful.

The feel is solid, I love the clean black/white look of the 'special edition', and the braided cable is a very nice touch. I am new to the more premium gaming mouse market so seeing weights in the box confused me at first glance. The one thing I can say I'm not much a fan for is the scroll wheel; it is very sensitive. for some I can see this being great for gaming, but I am using this mouse more for productivity. lifting the mouse at just the slightest incline or sometimes normal movement can register as rolling the scroll wheel and it throws off my precision or I lose my place on a web page. adding the weights in did help some of the sensitivity, but it is still an issue for me. For 20 dollars, which is what it was on sale for at the time of review, I might just live with it, since I recently got a matching Logitech G 512 SE keyboard. This issue is more because of a personal preference and not necessarily against the mouse itself, so it still gets 5 stars from me.
