Customers are impressed with the mouse's fantastic overall performance, comfortable feel, and customizable features such as adjustable weight, RGB lighting, and DPI settings. Many also appreciate its reasonable price, extra buttons, and smooth scroll wheel. However, some users find the overall size to be small, and the accompanying software is frequently criticized.

A decent mouse if not as fragile as tissue paper.

I've been annoyed by mouses before, but I've never had one just refuse to function properly out of the blue with no hint of prior issue. Considering this is the first time I paid a bit more to get a 'better' mouse, I'll never be doing that again. The wheel has completely bit the dust somehow, after a few months of mild use, rendering the entire purpose of the thing moot.

      Hello BigMcLargehuge,
Thank you for choosing Logitech. I am sorry that you have experienced an issue with the scroll wheel on your G502 HERO Wired Optical Gaming Mouse; I would like to help. I have attached a link to the G502's "Getting Started" page where you will find product guides, software downloads and further support. If you have not already done so, I recommend downloading the Logitech "G-Hub" software for customizations. This mouse has a Hyper-Fast scroll wheel. The button below the wheel toggles between the two modes. Please check the setting for the scroll wheel on the mouse and within the G-Hub software if you have not already done so. The 2-Year Limited Hardware Warranty. Please visit the Logitech website for further support. I hope you will enjoy your G502 HERO Wired Optical mouse.

      Best regards,

The mouse lasts good for about a few months but after that is when it goes bad. after those few months, the mouse's left click will start to act up like not being able to hold. then the same thing will happen to the right. I wouldn't buy this mouse

Hey there Neon, I'm very sorry to hear that your right and left click have been having some issues. I would recommend trying to blow the inside of the mouse out with a can of compressed air, as dust and dirt build up on the switches can cause this problem. If that doesn't fix it, please contact us via our support site for assistance and warranty information. -Weston from Logitech

I recieved it earlier. Programming buttons was a little difficult. Most buttons cam only be programmed as keyboard buttons. Having the extra buttons does make some gaming easier, so I would recommend this product to otber gamers who are looking for easier game play.

    Poor quality

I bought two of these and they both have left click issues which causes accidental double-clicking and makes it difficult to drag and drop or use the Windows snipping tool. I've tried troubleshooting with Logitech but it's not worth the hassle. I'd recommend buying another brand.

The button location are solid enough for me to be satisfied the only issue I have with this mouse is that the scroll wheel now spins freely and is one hell of a headache playing most fps games as the wheel usually switches weapons in most games.

Look into it yourselves, the left click starts really messing up. It is a faulty design issue so it is INEVITABLE to happen. I recommend any other model than logitech's mice for this reason.

Hello Meera! Sorry to hear you're having issues with your G502 HERO Wired Optical Gaming Mouse. I will say that the buttons on the G502 HERO mouse are rated to last over 50 million clicks normally, so although I am not sure what issue the right button is having exactly, I'd recommend (if you haven't done so already) trying to uninstall and reinstall the G Hub software, sometimes that could resolve the issue, and if it still persists, know that you have a 2 year warranty with Logitech, so simply go on the product page https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/products/gaming-mice/g502-hero-gaming-mouse.910-005469.html, and click Support. - Mathieu from Logitech

    Never had a worse mouse

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I don't understand how a single mouse could have so many issues. Issues: -Both left and right mouse button randomly double-click when attempting single click. - Left and right mouse buttons do not always register as being held down. Ironically the problem is worsened the the harder the button is held. -The button that adjusts the DPI is too sensitive. I often accidentally change the DPI by bumping the button but not actually clicking it. -The mouse pointer will frequently move around without me even touching the mouse. The problem is worse with using the mouse; the mouse pointer will move erratically when making small movements.

Hello Nick, that does sound crazy. Be sure to connect to GHUB software and check the settings. You can adjust which buttons do what, like DPI. Make sure the bottom is clean for the sensor. G502 is covered with a 2-year limited hardware warranty. For support, please refer to: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024148914 - Will, Logitech G.

    Do NOT buy this mouse.

Hello. For starters, I’m used to gaming peripherals, and I’m used to them working. I’ve seen people having double click issue with it later down the line, but there’s no excuse to it FLAT OUT not working the moment I plugged it in to my PC. None of the extra buttons worked, the lighting shut off immediately, the left and right clicks didn’t work, the only thing that did work was the sensor, and even that skipped around and felt terrible. I wish I could’ve enjoyed this mouse as people seem to say it’s amazing, but I know for the future to stay away from Logitech products, as this is the second mouse in 3 months to not work.
