The mouse is an updated version of the old mouse with new hero sensor. I feel no difference from the old one, maybe lighter. it worth the price if get it under discount.

(See my other reviews on this matter) Clicking was sporadic selecting was a nightmare. Returned this and got the 703 which also had this anomaly. Bought the Corsair DARK CORE RGB PRO and have not had any issues since. I thought it was WIndows 10, had arguments with Micosoft about it. Turns out is either Logitech Mice, or their software. Done with Logitech after more then 20 years of being a Fanboy of their Mice and Keyboards.

The scroll wheel on this mouse is absolutel god awful no matter which setting you use. No grip so your finger slips and the geared mode is very clunky and feels terrible.

I have really enjoyed this mouse. It came with weights to make it heavier which I really enjoy and works well with my play style. The only thing I do not like is that the mouse wheel is really sensitive and usually makes adjustments in games that rely on it to switch weapons and such.

I'm 5 feet 8inch tall. Pretty average size and height, my hand is average size. After having used the mouse extensively for 2 months, I still get wrist strain. Its a very popular mouse, yet for me it not that comfortable to use, maybe I'll get use to it after longer use.

Hi ZombiePanda, thank you for your feedback! We make a variety of gaming mice designed for different preferences. For something more compact, and light weight, check out the Pro Wireless. For something longer, and slimmer, check out the G903. For something a little bit thicker, and larger, check out the G703. - Will, Logitech G.

Best mouse I have ever used. The scrolling is incredibly smooth with an option to make it more traditional scrolling. Awesome customization. The iCue software could be better.

I don’t really know much about mouses but my brother seems to enjoy it a lot. It came with weights that my brother never uses, but I think it’s cool there are options.

Great mouse for any fps shooter game. Fits nice and comfortably in my hand. The optical sensor works perfectly. The price is well worth it in my opinion too. Love the extra button placement too.

    Issues with click and hold

Initially this was a nice mouse to use, however within a year it developed issues with maintaining holding down a mouse click on both the left and right mouse buttons. For example, click and hold to move a document from one folder to another may simply not work because the "hold" will let go while you are trying to drag a file (or play a game), even though you are firmly holding the button down. I have purchased 4 of these for my household (wife, son, my game comp, my work comp) and each one is having the same issue. A search online also shows this to be a common issue. I'd stay away from this mouse unless you never use click and hold.

Hey there GTRPLYR79, I'm sorry to hear you had some issues with your G502. I would recommend cleaning out the inside of the mouse with a can of compressed air or a q tip, as sometimes dirt and dust accumulation on the switches can cause this issue. I would also recommend contacting us via our support site for warranty information. -Weston from Logitech.
