After my old MX series mouse clicked its last click I wanted one that had the same features. Specifically I needed one that offered a scroll wheel that can roll one 'bump' at a time or spin freely. The 502 does that and more. I like the button arrangement. There are two for the thumb that are easily reached. There's one forward of the thumb to vary the DPI on the fly. As with other logitech products they're all customizable. The bottom has a magnetic hinge that hides am alcove for extra weights, adding 3 grams at a time. Even fully loaded it glides smoothly. The lights are a nice astethic touch. Their color cycling or static behavior can be customized through the desktop application or turned off if they become obtrusive. The bottom edge has an extended 'shelf' that your thumb rests on, rather than dragging on the table. It's new to me but I instantly found it comfortable. Tracking is as smooth and responsive as I've come to expect for a logitech mouse. Cranking it up to the full 16k is staggeringly accurate, if not maybe useless for normal desktop applications.

Great mouse! It is comfortable (although took a little getting used to coming from a smaller mouse), and has extra buttons to add some additional game functions to. I really like the fully customizable DPI setpoints through the G Hub application too, lets me fine tune my setting to get it where I like it and can reprogram the buttons. You can even program the buttons to keys or key combinations. The DPI button on the side is fantastic for playing FPS games to drop your sensitivity when you need it. I'm not a big RGB person, but the subtle lighting and customizability of the lighting is a nice little bonus. No problems with it so far. The only thing I don't like about it is the size and texture of the mouse wheel, personally I'd prefer a slightly smaller, rubberized wheel.

One of the best mouse i ever had, i dont regret the pruchase at all, its very comfortable and has great responso for.all kind of games specially for shooters, and the dpi change is great, what i also love is the wheel mouse you can click a button and it will change the speed and keep rolling with a single pull, or change to a clicky slower way to spin, very usefull for long pdf or webpages, also de personalisation of buttons is easy and the program allows you to have presets with different combinations of buttons. Just love it

This is hands down one of the most comfortable, precise and sleek mice I've ever used. Loved it so much, I went and bought another one for my PC at work. Scalable DPI options with quick keys for manipulating this on the fly. Configurable buttons so if you want to change up your setup, you can. Thumb lip is subtle giving just enough real estate to rest your thumb without it feeling like it was overdone. Scroll wheel has two settings which can be toggled with the click of a button. On setting 1, the wheel is loose and can spin for eternity, on setting 2, the wheel is tightened and you less free spin, for tighter, more controlled scrolling. Each option is awesome and I frequently find myself switching back and forth for different needs. Fairly light, but not feather weight light. Also comes with weights for adjusting if so desired.

Great mouse, especially if you like them a bit heavier. Even without any weights it's slightly heavier than a normal mouse, but not too heavy. It's very accurate, responsive, and fits comfortably in your hand. Can't beat it

GHUB SOFTWARE IS TERRIBLE… It’s fixable just use the official logitech onboard memory manager app instead. Besides that this is the best mouse you can find at the market. -Customize profiles for different dps/sensibility with a single button (you can disable it) -Customize its physical weight. (Yes it has weights in it) -Fast click response time. -Plenty of customizable buttons :)

The only issue i have isnt even with the mouse, the software "G Hub" doesnt allow for you to reset your binds. If you accidentally mess something up like i did, prepare yourself. Other than that, ive loved this mouse. The weight set is perfect if you like heavier mice, the ergonomics of the mouse is very comfortable, plenty of programmable buttons for whatever task you may need, customizable RBG lighting if youre into that, tactile clicks when you use either buttons or the scroll wheel, and my favorite feature is the free spinning scroll, helps tremendously to quickly run through pages. I cant say enough good things about the mouse, if they can make the software more user-friendly ill easily give it 5 stars.

I throughouly looked up different gaming mouses and their reviews and im glad i picked this one up. The multiple hotkeys you can assign to the buttons really helped me out, the weights you can put in, the rgb that you can adjust yourself to any color, and of course the dpi on the fly change. The program to make changes was a little was being a little difficult to install but overall perfect mouse

If you’re looking for a cheap wired gaming mouse but picky about quality and looks, then this is the mouse for you. This mouse is really good for its price. The mouse is lightweight and comes with metal weights you can attach at the bottom of the mouse if you want it to be heavier. Also the scroll wheel can be set to scroll fast or slower by pressing the button below the scroll wheel. There’s a couple of buttons on the mouse which is convenient when I’m playing games and I want to click the buttons on the mouse instead of on the keyboard. The mouse isn’t too loud when you click it which is nice. None of my friends have complained about the noise which is good to hear. There’s a lot of things you can play around with in the settings of the Logitech software.

One of the best mice I have used. Mouse is light and responsive when playing games such as Dota 2, Grounded, Satisfactory. The DPI settings are a nice touch on this one alongside the weights you can add into the bottom.

This mouse is the G502 Hero Gaming Mouse (wired). I previously owned the G500 mouse (which I have repaired the wire twice to keep it alive). I wanted to invest in a decent mouse and this mouse is well price for the quality. The packaging is nice, and comes with the mouse, weights, guides, and a LogitechG sticker. The mouse as a nice standard black, having noticeable features: RGB lighting, magnetic bottom cover for weights, and a nice weighty scroll wheel. I noticed there were fingerprints on the weights when I opened it, so perhaps it was a minimally used mouse? The weights come in a sleek haxagonal plastic container. Each weight is 3.6g each (5 total), which can be inserted inside the mouse. Overall, it's a good mouse if you have big hands. I have big/long thumbs and found the G500 series to be perfect. Another bonus feature is the button to unlock the wheel spin, which is great for programming (or perhaps other tasks that require massive scrolling speed). The weighty metal wheel is a huge bonus for me. Just like the other logitechG products, the RGB is programmable through the Logitech G Hub. The mouse buttons can be programmed commands, key, actions, macros, and system. There are two buttons on the mouse to change the DPI speeds faster/slower, and a button called "DPI shift" to change the speed to a specific DPI (I am assuming this is used to aim more precisely in FPS). You can assign up to 5 DPI speeds (not sure why they don't allow more). The mouse reports are: 1000/500/250/125 (per second). The firmware update was strange, in which it specified to not uplug the mouse, but will not update the mouse. You have to first uplug the mouse, start the firmware update, and then plug it back in. If the mouse starts blinking red, you know it is updating. The G502 has a comfortable size and space on the left side that acts a bit like a thumb rest. This mouse has 9 buttons placed around it, but rather than all being thumb buttons they are spread between the thumb, index and middle finger. The buttons are fully configurable within the Logi Hub. Scroll Lock - I have been using the mouse with CAD software and find myself turning that option on and off as it is extremely useful. Disabled the scroll free spins and while enabled it steps through like a standard scroll wheel. The is also side scrolling. Mouse weights - are included and can be added to the mouse to customize how it feels. I have not added any as I prefer the standard feel of this mouse but it does make for interesting customization options.

Just a solid mouse with lots of easy customization right out of the box. Easily accessible weight change and DPI adjustment. Scroll wheel even has 2 different modes for faster or more precise scrolling.

extremely good price for a really good mouse all tho the software sometimes is a little but buggy when using the softwares macro but none the less its really good price. really responsive, and the software also has a setting for your dpi, it also comes with weights for the mouse just in case you like a heavier weighted mouse.

The Logitech g502 is a mid priced gaming mouse. It is also mid complexity. I count nine buttons which is more than I can handle. The weight and size feel about right. All the buttons click nicely. The weight can be adjusted. The Logitech Gaming Software works well to adjust lighting and button programming. One thing missing from mouse macro programming is the ability to incorporate mouse movements into macros. This limits what can be done. The one minor criticism I have is the scroll wheel whose control surface is slippery metal. Nearly all mouse scroll wheels are covered with a rubber surface to improve traction. In my opinion this mouse would be improved with rubber on the scroll wheel.

What an amazing gaming mouse this is! It is the perfect weight when I play video games. It has RGB and has a DPI setting of 25,600 (not that you'll need it) This is one of the great mice that I've every used and will continue to stick with this mouse until I found a better one in the future.... And I almost forgot to mention -- For only under $50 this is a steal!

This mouse is very comfortable! It's cool to change the colors from your computer and you can change its DPI settings either on the mouse or if you want to be more specific, on the PC app. I like how you can change the sensitivity of the mouse scroll and it has magnets that you can change as well!

Very comfortable in the hand, Love the additional buttons that I can adjust the macros on the additional buttons. The RGB syncs up with the Logitech G Hub with my Logitech G512 SE keyboard. Love the endless scroll option and was surprised that you can set a macro by moving the scroll wheel left or right. Very happy with my purchase.

This mouse was a constant recommendation from a friend. I feel like it lived up to what he said. This mouse does it all and it feels amazing. The scroll wheel is the standout as pushing it left or right scrolls left and right. The Logitech software lets you map a ton of stuff to it. You can also set G shift to have twice the amount of thing mapped. Very satisfied.
