---SETUP--- The setup of the G502 Hero Gaming Mouse is fast and simple. Out of the box it is plug and play, meaning it works simply by connecting it. It’s true power lies, however, in downloading the software from the website it suggests. ---FEATURES--- The key feature of this mouse is that you can program up to 11 buttons and determine how heavy or light it feels based on actual weights you can add or remove to the mouse itself. Additionally, if you have other Logitech devices, like the Logitech G513 keyboard, it can sync up to it for lighting effects. It also includes a shift button that can toggle other features temporarily until you let go. This is perfect for snipers who have a high DPI set for close encounters but need the extra precision on the fly. ---PERFORMANCE--- The performance of this mouse is accurate and on point. After downloading the software, you can customize the DPI to your liking. It comes with 4 presets, which you can modify, or you can add additional presets and customize those, perfect for computers that must go from work mode to gaming mode in seconds. The software is easy to understand and the 11 programmable buttons are clearly identified for you on the software so you know which button you are modifying. It even allows you to download existing game profiles that are recommended, like Overwatch, PUBG, Call of Duty, and many others. ---EXPECTATIONS--- The product meets my expectations. I have owned well over 5 gaming mice in my gaming life time, but this is the first gaming mouse I own that features added weight. It makes a difference. I initially played several rounds of Overwatch and PUBG without the weights. Then, I added all 3.6g weights (18 grams total) and tested the mouse again. To me, the added weight gave me more security of when I wanted to stop the mouse instead of overshooting where I intended to aim. That, together with the quick DPI makes for one amazing on-the-fly customizable beast of a mouse. ---VALUE--- The price for this mouse is a steal compared to other mice in its class, as the 11 buttons are well placed together where everything is accessible in logically easy to reach locations. ---APPROVAL--- I highly recommend this gaming mouse to gamers ready to step their game up another level. If you are a first person shooter gamer, look no further than this mouse to help you achieve more victories.

After my old MX series mouse clicked its last click I wanted one that had the same features. Specifically I needed one that offered a scroll wheel that can roll one 'bump' at a time or spin freely. The 502 does that and more. I like the button arrangement. There are two for the thumb that are easily reached. There's one forward of the thumb to vary the DPI on the fly. As with other logitech products they're all customizable. The bottom has a magnetic hinge that hides am alcove for extra weights, adding 3 grams at a time. Even fully loaded it glides smoothly. The lights are a nice astethic touch. Their color cycling or static behavior can be customized through the desktop application or turned off if they become obtrusive. The bottom edge has an extended 'shelf' that your thumb rests on, rather than dragging on the table. It's new to me but I instantly found it comfortable. Tracking is as smooth and responsive as I've come to expect for a logitech mouse. Cranking it up to the full 16k is staggeringly accurate, if not maybe useless for normal desktop applications.

I’m not a PC gamer but I love a good mouse. I tried this mouse because it’s ergonomic and it has adjustable features: the weight, buttons, scroll wheel, and lights. I live on my computer for work and this mouse offers all day comfort. I wanted a wired mouse because for whatever reason, my wireless mouse starts glitching when I have a lot of windows and apps open. This mouse hits on all the features I need. BTW, the wire is incredibly long so it tucks away easily and I don’t even notice it.

Awesome gaming mouse. It comes with weights, you can add or remove which was a game changer. I never realized having a heavy weight mouse could take my gaming to the next level. It gives you more control and feel sturdy and comfortable on my hand. You can program it and customize the settings.

Great mouse! It is comfortable (although took a little getting used to coming from a smaller mouse), and has extra buttons to add some additional game functions to. I really like the fully customizable DPI setpoints through the G Hub application too, lets me fine tune my setting to get it where I like it and can reprogram the buttons. You can even program the buttons to keys or key combinations. The DPI button on the side is fantastic for playing FPS games to drop your sensitivity when you need it. I'm not a big RGB person, but the subtle lighting and customizability of the lighting is a nice little bonus. No problems with it so far. The only thing I don't like about it is the size and texture of the mouse wheel, personally I'd prefer a slightly smaller, rubberized wheel.

One of the best mouse i ever had, i dont regret the pruchase at all, its very comfortable and has great responso for.all kind of games specially for shooters, and the dpi change is great, what i also love is the wheel mouse you can click a button and it will change the speed and keep rolling with a single pull, or change to a clicky slower way to spin, very usefull for long pdf or webpages, also de personalisation of buttons is easy and the program allows you to have presets with different combinations of buttons. Just love it

mouse isn’t too big. all the buttons work smoothly. if ure confused about the buttons just search it up honestly. mouse isn’t heavy at all either in general. it’s cool they give u magnetic weights to make the mouse heavier if thats what u want. i got this mouse off of a friend’s recommendation, and would honestly recommend this to others too :)

This is hands down one of the most comfortable, precise and sleek mice I've ever used. Loved it so much, I went and bought another one for my PC at work. Scalable DPI options with quick keys for manipulating this on the fly. Configurable buttons so if you want to change up your setup, you can. Thumb lip is subtle giving just enough real estate to rest your thumb without it feeling like it was overdone. Scroll wheel has two settings which can be toggled with the click of a button. On setting 1, the wheel is loose and can spin for eternity, on setting 2, the wheel is tightened and you less free spin, for tighter, more controlled scrolling. Each option is awesome and I frequently find myself switching back and forth for different needs. Fairly light, but not feather weight light. Also comes with weights for adjusting if so desired.

Im glad I bought this mouse as it wasn’t too expensive. The response time very nice, has many configurations, like the mouse speed, rgb coloring is very nice as well as customizable. It has around 10 buttons so a lot of options. My favorite button is the one right on top of the scroll wheel, as you can click on it to either have a fast scroll with no resistance or a scroll that has a lot of resistance (for better control).

Love this mouse. Great for the price, feels smooth, buttons feel good, and I love that it can be weighted.

The only issue i have isnt even with the mouse, the software "G Hub" doesnt allow for you to reset your binds. If you accidentally mess something up like i did, prepare yourself. Other than that, ive loved this mouse. The weight set is perfect if you like heavier mice, the ergonomics of the mouse is very comfortable, plenty of programmable buttons for whatever task you may need, customizable RBG lighting if youre into that, tactile clicks when you use either buttons or the scroll wheel, and my favorite feature is the free spinning scroll, helps tremendously to quickly run through pages. I cant say enough good things about the mouse, if they can make the software more user-friendly ill easily give it 5 stars.

I throughouly looked up different gaming mouses and their reviews and im glad i picked this one up. The multiple hotkeys you can assign to the buttons really helped me out, the weights you can put in, the rgb that you can adjust yourself to any color, and of course the dpi on the fly change. The program to make changes was a little was being a little difficult to install but overall perfect mouse

If you’re looking for a cheap wired gaming mouse but picky about quality and looks, then this is the mouse for you. This mouse is really good for its price. The mouse is lightweight and comes with metal weights you can attach at the bottom of the mouse if you want it to be heavier. Also the scroll wheel can be set to scroll fast or slower by pressing the button below the scroll wheel. There’s a couple of buttons on the mouse which is convenient when I’m playing games and I want to click the buttons on the mouse instead of on the keyboard. The mouse isn’t too loud when you click it which is nice. None of my friends have complained about the noise which is good to hear. There’s a lot of things you can play around with in the settings of the Logitech software.

This mouse is the G502 Hero Gaming Mouse (wired). I previously owned the G500 mouse (which I have repaired the wire twice to keep it alive). I wanted to invest in a decent mouse and this mouse is well price for the quality. The packaging is nice, and comes with the mouse, weights, guides, and a LogitechG sticker. The mouse as a nice standard black, having noticeable features: RGB lighting, magnetic bottom cover for weights, and a nice weighty scroll wheel. I noticed there were fingerprints on the weights when I opened it, so perhaps it was a minimally used mouse? The weights come in a sleek haxagonal plastic container. Each weight is 3.6g each (5 total), which can be inserted inside the mouse. Overall, it's a good mouse if you have big hands. I have big/long thumbs and found the G500 series to be perfect. Another bonus feature is the button to unlock the wheel spin, which is great for programming (or perhaps other tasks that require massive scrolling speed). The weighty metal wheel is a huge bonus for me. Just like the other logitechG products, the RGB is programmable through the Logitech G Hub. The mouse buttons can be programmed commands, key, actions, macros, and system. There are two buttons on the mouse to change the DPI speeds faster/slower, and a button called "DPI shift" to change the speed to a specific DPI (I am assuming this is used to aim more precisely in FPS). You can assign up to 5 DPI speeds (not sure why they don't allow more). The mouse reports are: 1000/500/250/125 (per second). The firmware update was strange, in which it specified to not uplug the mouse, but will not update the mouse. You have to first uplug the mouse, start the firmware update, and then plug it back in. If the mouse starts blinking red, you know it is updating. Great mouse, especially if you like them a bit heavier. Even without any weights it's slightly heavier than a normal mouse, but not too heavy. It's very accurate, responsive, and fits comfortably in your hand. Can't beat it

I’ll never use another mouse again. Went from a wireless Corsair Harpoon to this and the weight of the mouse alone is enough for me to keep buying it. Feels great, plenty of button mapping. Such a good mouse.

The Logitech g502 is a mid priced gaming mouse. It is also mid complexity. I count nine buttons which is more than I can handle. The weight and size feel about right. All the buttons click nicely. The weight can be adjusted. The Logitech Gaming Software works well to adjust lighting and button programming. One thing missing from mouse macro programming is the ability to incorporate mouse movements into macros. This limits what can be done. The one minor criticism I have is the scroll wheel whose control surface is slippery metal. Nearly all mouse scroll wheels are covered with a rubber surface to improve traction. In my opinion this mouse would be improved with rubber on the scroll wheel.

Just a solid mouse with lots of easy customization right out of the box. Easily accessible weight change and DPI adjustment. Scroll wheel even has 2 different modes for faster or more precise scrolling.
