Great ergonomics for a gaming mouse

I purchased this mouse because I like the G602 that we had for my life's laptop, but was not a big fan of the wireless connection on a gaming pc. The ergonomics are fantastic and the DPI adjustments work pretty well. The GHub control of the mouse works pretty well also. The only reason I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is the scroll wheel. It seems a little sluggish when you have the button pushed down to restrict it, but way too sensitive when you don't. For example, I would have weapons switch in Outer Worlds (triggered by a scroll) when I wasn't even touching it.

working great so far, purchased it to replace the other HERO wired mouse that comes in white (broke in about a year). hoping this one lasts much longer. the G500/502 series are my "go to" mice for my desktop at home, wireless just doesn't work good enough. highly recommend for gamers.

Typically I get the g602 wire less but wanted something more budget friendly. For the excellent price and wired I think this will be my mouse for the next decade. Logitech makes good quality and this is no exception. It was light at first compared to other mice I have had in the past. But this one also includes weights to insert. Overall 5 stars

It’s a good mouse. Has a few problems but nothing that makes it not worth the price, at least when it was on sale for like $30. If you see it on sale grab it, pass if it’s not.

Bought for my office where I review a lot of documents. Totally overkill for an office setting but it is comfortable and I like how the scroll wheel unlocks and can scroll through webpages and documents quickly. I have the wireless one at home and for $45, which is what I bought it at, I don't see why you would get any other mouse.

Its a good mouse, comfortable shape, good software. My only complaint is that it's a little on the heavy side, making it uncomfortable to hold for long gaming sessions.

Hello Zombiepigman! Thanks for your feedback and for being a loyal Logitech customer! We're happy to hear you're enjoying your new G502 HERO Wired Optical Mouse with RG Lighting. It is true that the G502 is a bit more on the heavier side of our lineup of Gaming products, but have you looked up if any weights were already inside the mouse maybe? Just open up the cover under the mouse to see if any are present, as you can adjust the weight to your desire. Aside that, we have many options when it comes to lighter Gaming mice, so definitely check out our other products! - Mathieu from Logitech

I used to run a Steelseries Rival 500, and since it's been discontinued Ive been looking for a replacement. For the price, this cannot be beat, it's smooth, has a good amount of buttons without being cramped, and has decent software to go with it.

I love the flexibility with this mouse. I have huge hands, and this is by far the most comfortable mouse I've used. The lighting options are limited, but are still pretty good as it comes with the Logitech ecosystem. You can switch up how heavy you want the mouse with the extra weights provided. The macros are amazing. I have a few macros assigned for discord and a few other programs. The infinity scroll is also amazing and if it's your first time seeing it, you're going to fall in love; as you can always use a traditional 'clicky mouse' as well. I loved it so much that I convinced my brother to get one as well. The only mouse that's better than this in his opinion is the g502 lightspeed. The software and hardware are both amazing, and I definitely would recommend!

    G502 Proteus to HERO

Needed a replacement for my old G502 Proteus Core after several years of consistent use. The G502 HERO was an obvious choice to pick up. My only concern about it is that the HERO has a regular plastic wire cord, unlike the Proteus Core's braided cloth cable. Still, that's just a minor thing and the G502 feels just as solid and responsive as ever.

Overall excellent mouse. Good Weight options. I prefer a heavy mouse and this comes with weights that can be added to get the weight to your liking, or you can take them all out and it is fairly light if you like a light mouse. Tracking is good, you can also enable or disable the click on the scroll wheel which is a nice option.

Its a great little mouse for some games, and even some applications, if you get your buttons set right. It didn't perform as well as I had hoped for the game i bought it for, but I honestly need a joystick for it. Overall, though, this mouse fits nice in the hands and has many functions that put it in the rank of the best mouses that ive ever bought. Oh, i love the lightning functions as well!

It's great to hear your detailed feedback on the Logitech G502 HERO! It sounds like you've discovered its versatility for various games and applications when the buttons are customized effectively.

While it didn't quite hit the mark for the specific game you bought it for (which you rightly noted might need a joystick instead), it's fantastic that you still find it fits nicely in your hands and its numerous functions rank it among the best mice you've ever purchased. And we're thrilled you love the lighting functions too! Logitech

This is a good mouse that I use with my work computer but I'm using this iBuyPower freebie that came with my home computer right now and honestly I like it better as it is less bulky and more nimble. It would probably be cheaper if you could buy them but iBuyPower doesn't sell them separately :(. If you need advanced gaming capabilities I'm sure the G502 is the one for you but I don't do that. I should also mention that the G502 does however blow away the cheaper Logitech mouse that preceded it so that is good.
