    Garbage

I loved this mouse until the right click started to not function after about 6 months. It won't stay activated while I'm holding it down, which has caused me to die too many times in COD. I have been trying to file a warranty claim on the Logitech website but after making an account, registering my product, and going through various hoops, the support ticket page didn't load. Probably not worth fixing this piece of garbage anyway. I've looked it up and realized this a common issue with this product but Logitech obviously doesn't care; they will continue to sell it. Save your money and avoid this product.

Buttons failed on replacement mouse too

I see by most other reviews that people love this mouse. I really wanted to love this mouse but button failures on the original mouse and the replacement mouse have ruined it for me. The left mouse button fails after just a few months causing no-click, click releasing during a drag, and multi-click, sometimes as many as 5 or more clicks at a time. Thankfully I only paid $25 for this mouse and now I know why it was discounted so heavily. I'll go through the warranty process again but this is just disappointing. I'm looking for a new mouse now.

Common double click issue, cannot recommend.

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Mouse developed the very common double clicking issue. Logitech products have taken a nose dive in quality in recent years. Did I also mention they reduced the warranty time from three years down to two years? The will not stand behind their cheap hardware. For these reasons I can no longer recommend Logitech products. There are better alternatives out there at similar price points.

    Not reliable

Purchased this mouse for design and the fact I have loved Logitech products for years. I decided to upgrade from my older logitech gaming mouse which has worked great for 10 years. The left button gave out after on 3 months becoming unresponsive most the time. Love the design and feel but this was a total waste of money and wouldn't recommend this to anyone. This isn't a fluke I purchased one at the same time for my gf and hers gave out about a week before mine.

    HATE HATE HATE

I actually hate this mouse. my thumb ALWAYS hits the back button at the worst possible time. The sensitivity of the buttons is a HUGE negative. And theres no way to adjust it. You look at the buttons, at they will randomly click. The on the fly dpi settings is also incredibly annoying. Overall, this is the worst mouse I have ever used, and I have been using mice for 30 years.

A decent mouse if not as fragile as tissue paper.

I've been annoyed by mouses before, but I've never had one just refuse to function properly out of the blue with no hint of prior issue. Considering this is the first time I paid a bit more to get a 'better' mouse, I'll never be doing that again. The wheel has completely bit the dust somehow, after a few months of mild use, rendering the entire purpose of the thing moot.

      Hello BigMcLargehuge,
Thank you for choosing Logitech. I am sorry that you have experienced an issue with the scroll wheel on your G502 HERO Wired Optical Gaming Mouse; I would like to help. I have attached a link to the G502's "Getting Started" page where you will find product guides, software downloads and further support. If you have not already done so, I recommend downloading the Logitech "G-Hub" software for customizations. This mouse has a Hyper-Fast scroll wheel. The button below the wheel toggles between the two modes. Please check the setting for the scroll wheel on the mouse and within the G-Hub software if you have not already done so. The 2-Year Limited Hardware Warranty. Please visit the Logitech website for further support. I hope you will enjoy your G502 HERO Wired Optical mouse.

      Best regards,

The mouse lasts good for about a few months but after that is when it goes bad. after those few months, the mouse's left click will start to act up like not being able to hold. then the same thing will happen to the right. I wouldn't buy this mouse

Hey there Neon, I'm very sorry to hear that your right and left click have been having some issues. I would recommend trying to blow the inside of the mouse out with a can of compressed air, as dust and dirt build up on the switches can cause this problem. If that doesn't fix it, please contact us via our support site for assistance and warranty information. -Weston from Logitech

I recieved it earlier. Programming buttons was a little difficult. Most buttons cam only be programmed as keyboard buttons. Having the extra buttons does make some gaming easier, so I would recommend this product to otber gamers who are looking for easier game play.

The button location are solid enough for me to be satisfied the only issue I have with this mouse is that the scroll wheel now spins freely and is one hell of a headache playing most fps games as the wheel usually switches weapons in most games.

I bought two of these and they both have left click issues which causes accidental double-clicking and makes it difficult to drag and drop or use the Windows snipping tool. I've tried troubleshooting with Logitech but it's not worth the hassle. I'd recommend buying another brand.

I really like the basic mouse. It works nicely. I downloaded the G Hub so I could use the programable featuers. Well that rendered the mouse useless, as it wouldn't connect to it's own sofware.

Look into it yourselves, the left click starts really messing up. It is a faulty design issue so it is INEVITABLE to happen. I recommend any other model than logitech's mice for this reason.

Hello Meera! Sorry to hear you're having issues with your G502 HERO Wired Optical Gaming Mouse. I will say that the buttons on the G502 HERO mouse are rated to last over 50 million clicks normally, so although I am not sure what issue the right button is having exactly, I'd recommend (if you haven't done so already) trying to uninstall and reinstall the G Hub software, sometimes that could resolve the issue, and if it still persists, know that you have a 2 year warranty with Logitech, so simply go on the product page https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/products/gaming-mice/g502-hero-gaming-mouse.910-005469.html, and click Support. - Mathieu from Logitech
