Nice features, but didn't work for me

Pros: I liked the look & extra functions of this mouse. It was very nice to be able to control the DPI settings from the side buttons & having the option to switch between geared scrolling and smooth scrolling. The RGB lights gave it a nice touch. I also liked that it was a larger mouse so my palm wasn't pressed against the mouse pad. Comes with extra weights for customization & can be used as a wired mouse while charging.
Cons: I was already having some wrist pain, but I felt this mouse was heavier (even without the weights) than my old standard mouse which added to the strain. The software (G Hub) did not pick up the correct battery charge amount. It stops charging at around 68%, but clicking the battery indicator button on the mouse shows it to be fully charged (3 lights). Not sure if that's an issue with the battery life or the software. Also, The battery life with the RGBs on was just acceptable. You could get twice the battery life if you turned them all off, but then why buy an RGB mouse?
Conclusion: In the end, I returned this mouse & bought an ergonomic one for my wrist pain (similar price). This mouse also has a lot of reviews saying it breaks down only after a few months, so I'd recommend buying the extended protection plan from Best Buy. For a mouse that cost over $100, its disappointing to have to worry about it's potentially short lifespan.

Great mouse overall, after a year it still functions beautifully. Still holds a charge for very long periods, and the charging cord it comes with is very long so I can still use the mouse even when plugged in. Only reason not 5 stars is over time the mouse doesn't always glide smoothly when gaming and can get "stuck". This could be in combination to my cheaper mouse pad though.

This mouse is great. You can set a custom DPI for each application, so it’s very customizable. I’ve been keeping it light and not using the weights and it feels very comfortable. Pairing it with the wireless charging mat takes this to the next level!

Not having a cable is great for reducing drag on the mouse for FPS games. Having customizable profiles also makes it great to switch over to a higher DPI and custom button configuration for school work.

Light weight, but carries it well when you place them inside. The issue with this for me is the price. Once you fix the DPI to your liking, it is amazing. The higher the pole the quicker, and smoother the response. It makes no difference if you have the wired version, or wireless. This would be a great gift to people of all ages.

The mouse itself is amazing. Response times faster than the human brain can process, and very comfortable. I moved to this mouse from a Logitech MX Master, and the size is just barely smaller.
The only "issue" I have is not with the mouse, but the G Hub software for the RGB/button assignments/etc. It's constantly saying my mouse is almost dead, even after charging all night. I have to completely uninstall the software, and my settings, reinstall, reconfigure my settings, and THEN it will display the correct charge. Just something to keep in mind if you want to customize the DPI and RGB settings on the mouse.

I absolutely love this mouse, if you have bigger hands definitely a must buy! When my Razer Basilisk Ultimate stopped working (only after 2 months) then I wanted to find a new mouse that was like it but would have a better lifetime and I kept seeing reviews and ads about this mouse specifically. Wow it definitely lives up to the reviews, every click is precise, and punctual! The extra buttons are placed perfectly and the infinity scroll wheel is amazing and super fun to use. I love the simple but beautiful RGB on the mouse and it glides so well across my mouse pad I have no troubles at all with it sticking! All in all love this mouse very much if you got big hands and just want a mouse that will last you and that will have your back in all sorts of games and work the Logitech G502 is for you!

It is identical to a standard 502 with the exception of the rubber coating on the scroll wheel which should have been on the original. Love my 502 Spectrum so this one is no exception only thing I had a problem with was the price. This mouse shouldn't cost twice as much as the corded version. Logitech changed their gaming software and it needs some work.

I own the 402 hated it it was too heavy. This mouse however is awesome. It’s small light or it comes with weights you can add in the bottom to make it heavier. I just use it right out of the box. The buttons are easy to use now I play Warcraft so I use it mostly for movement including jumping and the keyboard for the rest but it’s not to big or bulky and it stays charged for days, many of them. I can use a mouse both either left handed or right. It’s made like a lot of them with thumb buttons for right handed people so it’s not versatile in that way but I mean it it’s expensive and worth every dime I think. My hands are size 7 to 7 and 1/2 so it’s perfect size for me. It also matches by color changing headset and thermal take case just sayin. So if price is an issue for you I don’t have any other suggestions in its place.

Great mouse, comfortable, good battery life. Weights make it feel more solid compared to a mouse that doesn't have weights. The free-spinning scroll wheel option is great, I'll never use a mouse that doesn't have that.

I was a bit hesitant at first because it was a wireless mouse, thinking i would have to charge it every single day but that is not the case, this mouse does last as long as it says and charges pretty quick, not to mention this is one of the best mouse i have ever used while playing Escape from Tarkov, the amount of buttons easily accessible to the thumb are easily a great feature not to mention how smooth it glides across the mouse pad either

Picked the G502 up recently after my 7 month old G903 that I got elsewhere started having the infamous double clicking issue. After just using this over the weekend I am very impressed. The mouse without the included weights is still a little heavier than the G903 but that is good for me. The overall feel and button layout is very nice for my medium sized hands. After a solid weekend of playing COD MW, Division 2 and GTA 5 I wish I would've gotten this earlier. So far after charging the mouse on Friday and had constant gaming, surfing, editing over the weekend and already into the new week the mouse is reporting at 70% and that is also with the logo and status bars at half illumination. The price is still a little steep but after using this and my experience with the G903 it seems to be worth it, so far.

Almost a replacement for G502 SE

I have been using a G502 SE for the past year. I mostly like the mouse, although the shape isn't perfect for me. My SE has taken a beating and is just starting to have left click issues. No big deal, Ill just replace the switch. I decided to try the Lightspeed version to remove some clutter from my desk.
This is mouse IS NOT the same size as the wired version. It's close, but the back end is smaller and barely touches my palm unless I move my hand forward a bit. When I grab my SE, it is firm against my palm. I know this wont impact everyone, but I really thought they would use the same shell. The lightspeed also get warm on the palm. The SE stays fairly cool during a gaming session.
My last issue with the lightspeed is the construction, It feels cheap compared to the SE. The mouse wheel is not solid like on the SE and sounds and feels bad when scrolling. The SE has a solid metal wheel and just feels ad sounds better. When clicking any button, there is a plasticy sound.
Overall not a bad mouse, just not as good as the wired.

Great mouse, the rbg is great, quick response time and no drag plus the weighted option is a great addition. Only negative took forever and multiple tries to install the software on a windows 10 gaming PC had to use an older version then upgrade.

My second lightspeed G502.....

Second G502 light speed in the house. I got mine (along with the charging mousepad) about a year ago, and decided to gift one to my son who games as well for Christmas. He is also a g502 user, but he has lived the corded life for the past couple of years. The fact that Logitech held pretty firm to the architecture that made the G502 legendary as a gaming mouse, and made it wireless is huge. Response time has been outstanding, and I just can’t speak enough to the combo with the lights-dedicated mousepad...the cord has actually never made it onto the mouse. Well worth the cost, and caught it for $100 at the holiday. You can find that deal often during the year. Don’t ask, just do it...you will not regret it if you game.
