Great mouse awful software

Mouse is nice the weight system is nice... but thr software required to operate the new Logitech devices "G Hub" is not user friendly and ive had other people tell me the same. Its crashed on me multiple times and wiped out my mouse settings... Great mouse. Horrible software. Returned it until logitech polishes their software. I preferred their old software.

Also the lights turn on after the computer turns off. You have to manually switch off the mouse when you turn off the computer Also it uses micro usb instead of usb C. Which honestly is a big deal. The cutout for the usb port is too narrow. Performance wise the mouse is excellent but everything else about it is awful including battery life.

This gaming mouse is wireless and has the speed of a wired gaming mouse. Usually wireless is slower, but not with this mouse. It's response time is fast (1ms) without having to be plugged into the PC. The weights are easy to install and adjust to get just the right balance in your hand. There are 6 in total, 4 (2g) and 2 (4g) making it very customizable. The 11 programmable buttons are easy to set up using the app and gives lots of options. The app also allows you to set the RGB. You can also unlock the scroll wheel to make scrolling faster and adjust the DPI buttons to raise or lower sensitivity. Charging is done with USB, but I recommend buying the Powerplay Wireless Charging System that keeps the mouse charged.

The mouse developed a double click issue after only a month of use. I returned the mouse to the store. I am disappointed in logitech lately, I bought the G502 to replace my G703 that was also double clicking though at least that mouse lasted a year before issues popped up.

The G502 Lightspeed is usually tested for 50 million clicks, so it should normally last way longer than what you've experienced. And to back that up, we do provide a 2-year warranty on the mouse just in case something like this would happen. Not as good as I remember

This was also fhe third g502 lightspeed ive owned, mouse 1 is usually the first thing to give out on this model. Returned it for a g502x+, and the rubber was of a much higher quality on the latest model without the same sensor issues. Whats odd is the older ones used to use the same rubber as the latest model and didnt have a faulty sensor from the getgo. :/ Mouse is as simple to use as always, practically plug and play. Every other feature worked as normal, but yeah either I got a lemon or quality control isn't quite there anymore with the older models.
