Customers are pleased with the excellent battery life, lightweight design, and overall strong performance, along with its comfortable feel and responsive wireless connectivity. They also appreciate its quick buttons, infinite scroll wheel, and the absence of input lag. However, some customers find the price to be a drawback and mention issues with the confusing G Hub software interface and the product's size or grip.

I own the wired version of this mouse (at least 3 years), but I wanted to go wireless. I love the wired version, and I love this version as well. This mouse feels great and there is no lag to it. I play only FPS games so a good mouse is primary to me. Initially, the price of this mouse had me looking elsewhere, but I tried a different wireless gaming mouse before this that was about half the price but it just didn't cut it. So I returned it and purchased this one and it was worth it for me but I understand that it is still expensive. The other mouse was also a big name brand so don't think I went uber cheap. You can find out other information about its features through youtube reviews, but my hands-on experience and opinion is that this is a great mouse.

    My second lightspeed G502.....

Second G502 light speed in the house. I got mine (along with the charging mousepad) about a year ago, and decided to gift one to my son who games as well for Christmas. He is also a g502 user, but he has lived the corded life for the past couple of years. The fact that Logitech held pretty firm to the architecture that made the G502 legendary as a gaming mouse, and made it wireless is huge. Response time has been outstanding, and I just can’t speak enough to the combo with the lights-dedicated mousepad...the cord has actually never made it onto the mouse. Well worth the cost, and caught it for $100 at the holiday. You can find that deal often during the year. Don’t ask, just do it...you will not regret it if you game.

Almost a replacement for G502 SE

I have been using a G502 SE for the past year. I mostly like the mouse, although the shape isn't perfect for me. My SE has taken a beating and is just starting to have left click issues. No big deal, Ill just replace the switch. I decided to try the Lightspeed version to remove some clutter from my desk. This is mouse IS NOT the same size as the wired version. It's close, but the back end is smaller and barely touches my palm unless I move my hand forward a bit. When I grab my SE, it is firm against my palm. I know this wont impact everyone, but I really thought they would use the same shell. The lightspeed also get warm on the palm. The SE stays fairly cool during a gaming session. My last issue with the lightspeed is the construction, It feels cheap compared to the SE. The mouse wheel is not solid like on the SE and sounds and feels bad when scrolling. The SE has a solid metal wheel and just feels ad sounds better. When clicking any button, there is a plasticy sound. Overall not a bad mouse, just not as good as the wired.

I was a huge fan of the wired G502 mouse and have used that for the last several years as my daily driver for gaming and productivity. So when I found out about the wireless version with a 1ms nearly instant response time, it was a no brainer! I originally got it to use when I game on my TV so I can easily bring my mouse and keyboard to the couch, but I liked it so much I put my wired version in the drawer and use this wireless version full time now even when I am at my desk! I can’t tell any difference in response or accuracy, it has the same feel, and it’s less annoying to use(cause the wired version’s cord would snag and/or get in the way sometimes.) Love it! Just need to remember to charge it once in a while, but overall has pretty long lasting battery life.

Nearly Identical but with Lightspeed Wireless

I already own the wired G502 but have been upgrading a lot of my gear to wireless to clean up my desk which was getting incredibly cluttered and tangled. If you don't already own a G502, get one, they're amazingly comfortable and versatile. The G502 Lightspeed Wireless is almost exactly the same and there truly is no compromise in performance with Logitech's Lightspeed wireless. There are some very minor differences, like the left and right clicks now have a very slightly lower travel distance and the scroll wheel is hollow, but all the differences are almost imperceptible. The only draw back is the price difference between the original and the wireless version.

Amazing mouse for gaming. Scroll wheel can click left and right as well as just down! Easy to assign the dpi up/down buttons next to the clicker to binds for a game as well as the sniper button. Very easy to use the Ghub software to customize your binds for each game. It recognizes which game your playing and automatically switches over your binds to that game. When you go back to the desktop it goes back to regular functions or to whatever you want the buttons to do. I can't see myself using a different mouse ever! $120 is a lot for a mouse but soooooo worth it. I would recommend the geek squad protection for an extra 25$ for 2 years.

OMG the best mice ever. I got this mouse for work use and it has a clicking scroll that can change to a smooth scroll. It has 5 customizable buttons and lasts for about over 2 weeks used 8 hours a day. It has customizable colors and can change the weight of the mouse and works great with gaming with zero latency.

I loved the G502 since its initial release and I wanted a slight upgrade but loved the form of the G502 so I simply indulged myself and upgraded to the wireless version of the same mouse I had. However, I love it so much more. There's something so magical about being able to pick up my hand with the mouse and no friction be felt, its just your hand and the mouse. I play fps games where aim is critical so I use a very large mousepad and make very big swipes with my mouse. Having a wireless mouse has only improved my comfort as I no longer feel any drag whatsoever from a cable. Even with good cable management, I always found the mouse's cord giving my issues in one way or another.

I have now used this mouse for some time now and can confidently say that this is the best mouse I have used. I used this mouse with macOS and Windows. I was able to use programmable buttons to replicate all Magic Mouse features and now have a very clean setup to switch between office and gaming in just one switch. Ergonomically, this mouse is perfect and is the lightest mouse I used. Lightspeed wireless is amazing and in gaming, I see no difference between a wired and this wireless mouse. My only complaint is that it only uses RF/wired mode and at this price point should have included Bluetooth capabilities as well.

Great mouse, comes with weights to make it heavier if that’s your preference. The response time is great when using the light speed wireless. The charge time is decent. And the braided usb cord is a nice touch. The batter life will last longer if you don’t use the led lights on it.

Feels great in the hand and is the software is very responsive, and in no way intrusive or bloated. This mouse (with the weights installed) feels very light. I would have preferred something a bit more heavier to the touch, but that is just a personal preference. I remember a few years back when I disliked Logitech's cheap-feeling peripherals, but I feel they have completely turned it around and are on par with quality hardware companies like SteelSeries. I have this synced with the new Logitech G915 keyboard, which is an incredible piece of hardware. All in all, a very good purchase.

Fantastic mouse. By far the best gaming mouse I ever used. Excellent response, faster charging and longer battery life makes this a beast. Also the weight addition makes it a solid hold to use while intense FPS sessions and doesn't move unless you want the mouse to. A little pricey but overall a great purchase if you want a better response with less latency and superior build.

Finally a hy Successor to the OG G502 Proteus Core

Five and a half years ago I bought the original G502 Proteus Core. This is mouse is a worthy successor in pretty much every way. The mouse itself feels just as good as the OG one did when it was new, but now it is wireless and has RGB lighting. Ergonomically the design is very comfortable as long as you are right handed, left handers will need to look elsewhere. My only complaint is that the UI of G-Hub is confusing and the library of games it can auto detect isn't quite large enough. It does manage to detect games stored on other drives in the system though so that is good.
