Once you do that, scroll is easily controlled. Unless you keep it wired, it will fall asleep, and you must wiggle it to get it back to the set DPI and there is a lag waiting on it to catch up. The sleep cycle is very short and you can't set it to anything different. I use this with the powerplay pad and it does stay charged. The quick sleep cycle is annoying though. It does work well when gaming. It tracks great and is very stable. If you use the scroll wheel to change weapons and such, set it to the click mode.
