I think the price point is a little high for sure. But I've had no problems with the mouse so far. Battery life is decent. Definitely would get the powerplay pad with this mouse so you never have to plug it in.

I don't get the hype and I went back to my oh so heavy g502. Unfortunately I broke it when I stuffed it into my backpack but at least if gave me a reason to buy the lightspeed version which has been just as good as the original. Just feels good in the hand. That is what is most important. Only con is that there is a high possibility of losing the USB adapter when you have to charge the mouse. Not a big concern.
