The Proteus is a good gaming mouse for first person shooters. The adjustable weights allow you to customize the feel of the mouse. It has the Logitech "G" that pulses. It is a neat futuristic look. The button placements are fine, but the mouse wheel can get stuck at times. It also feels "plasticy", but is quite sturdy. Not enough buttons if you play "RPG's". Overall a good mouse.

This mouse is great for the price. There are many customizable buttons and you can tune the mouse wight to what is comfortable for you. It also comes with one of the best optie sensors available for gaming mice and can also be fine tuned. On top of all that, of course there is also customizable RGB lighting if you’re into that. Great price, great mouse!

I'm in love w this mouse, spent a lot of time searching for the perfect one and have no regrets about this purchase. The selling point for me was the thumb rest, it makes so much more comfortable when gaming for longer hours. The wheel can be unlocked to spin freely without click w the push of a button, perfect for scrolling those long pages. Comes w five 3.6g weights to customize that perfect weight of the mouse, easy install and comes w a case to keep any unused safe.

I wasn't hard to be better than the one it replaced. It has adjustable weights, programable buttons, and it lights up.

Did a lot of research before buying because trying to surprise son for Christmas with gaming mouse. Multiple web sites highly recommended this mouse so I bought and so glad I did. My son loves the new mouse.

My son was thrilled to get this mouse as a gift this year and is enjoying all of the features of it. He keeps telling me how happy he is with it. He's the techie of the family so I guess that's a good thing!

I love the usability. There a customizable buttons in good spots and weights to make the mouse heavier.

I was a fan of the old G500 mouse and I loved the adjustable weights. With this one, it is similar but the weights are even better as they can be moved around in different positions because of the angled weights.

Very responsive and priced well. The included weights helps in balancing the device further to your liking.

I haven't had to purchase a mouse since I bought my Logitech G5 many years ago. I expect this mouse to last just as long from the quality it is. Goes great with my other Logitech devices.

I replaced the 500 that i had for less than 4 months and this mouse OMG!!! Playing BF4 i saw a difference in accuracy and play.

Works well, the extra buttons allow for more customization but I wish I had found a wireless option.

This is truly a remarkable mouse. The software is great, feels great in the hand and is an amazing value.

Great software, great buttons, awesome customization options, comfortable for righties, could be larger for me as I'm 6'3" with fairly large hands that's why 4 stars instead of 5. If they had a large hands edition I would give 5 stars.

My teenage son got this gaming mouse as an upgrade from his old gaming mouse. He loves it and it has all the features on it that he required. No problem with installation, he started using it immediately.

Read reviews before buying and all were positive. For good reason it is a great mouse for gaming. Set all my macros and enjoy everything I use it for. A+ logitech keep up the good work

The mouse has a lot going for it. Extremely smooth operation, very nice curves to conform to your hand, and everything is just right. Would recommend for anyone who wants a nice mouse without a budget.

The mouse is just a little too small, but aside from the size, everything else is great. It is fast, accurate, responsive, and looks good. I'm very happy with the mouse. Switched from a Razer Naga.
