Awesome gaming mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When my previous Logitech gaming mouse finally gave out, I knew I needed to pick up another Logitech mouse. The G502 Proteus Spectrum had what I was looking for. The anti-tangling braided cable reinforces the wires a bit and allows for better flexibility. The software is easy to use to program the extra buttons on the mouse. The adjustable weight system allows the user to add more weights for those that like a heavier mouse. My only complaint is that the mouse wheel feels a little loose, but not enough to take off a star. The wheel action reads very well and scrolls smoothly. The switch from clicky feedback to free wheel helps when scrolling through long documents.

Close to the iconic G5
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked for quite some time for a mouse to replace my old but reliable G5 mouse. I would have to say this is close. The software is much better than the old set point software. Only dislike is the mouse wheel. I would have liked it better if it was rubber coated. Extremely happy otherwise.

Best gaming mouse, Period!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this mouse! I tried Corsair, Razer, and Steel Series and took them all back for this mouse. For one the mouse is the most ergonomic mouse I've ever felt. It is only right-handed, though. The buttons are all configurable, and it is RGB. The software is super easy to work with and it goes great with my Logitech G910 Keyboard. It costs the same as a lower model Corsair, and is a much better mouse. It comes with weights if you need them and has a free scrolling wheel, which can also be programmed. Yeah - it's the perfect mouse for me for MMO's, Shooters, MOBA and RPG. Hand Grip, Claw Grip, and Finger Grips all work fine with this mouse. Buy it!

Best mouse I've ever used
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The most important thing for me is how comfortable it is. I can play for a very long time without it becoming uncomfortable. the option the add weights is extremely useful and makes aiming easier. It also has the benefit of looking really cool, the buttons are useful, and the cord on it looks very durable.

Real smooth comfortable mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My hands are normal size, not small not huge. I found the feel of the mouse very good. Lots of settings once you set the software up for customization. Can be a bit confusing but if your a serious gamer than this mouse can really be set up and tuned the way you want it when you take the time to figure it out.

Mouse for PACS Workstation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Mouse I have ever used. Had a G500 at work with very nice weighted scroll wheel and all other Logitech mice with switchable scroll wheels since then felt poor in comparison. Multiple buttons allow activation of multiple macro's. Free spinning scroll wheel nice for moving through thousand slice CTA's.

BEST gaming mouse I've used
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Adjustable weight. On-the-fly adjustable DPI. An LED-lit logo with a brightness you can change (in minor ways). This is simply the best gaming mouse I have ever used, and I've been gaming on PCs for over 20 years now. HIGHLY recommended!

Top notch mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never in a million years thought I would own an expensive mouse. A mouse is a mouse, after all. Right? After seeing a deal website raving about the G502 when it went on sale during Black Friday, I decided to do a little hands-on at "Best Try." Much to my surprise, I was amazed by the way it felt in my hand and how it looked. I liked it even more when I took it home and discovered I could swap weights inside of it to customize its feel. I've barely had a chance to even delve into its endless options for macros, lighting, and DPI, but I loved it so much I decided to get a matching G910 Spectrum Keyboard as well. Looking forward to some hardcore gaming during the holidays and launching my own Twitch and YouTube channels. This seems like a good place to start. Special thanks to Best Buy for having these models on display so I could try them out. The sales associate was also very helpful in my decision to buy.

Fantastic Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My trusty old HP mouse started getting buggy after years of use, and so I looked into getting a new one. My primary criteria were a precise mouse with a good scroll wheel, as I am an Engineering student and use CAD extensively. After quite a bit of research, I purchased this one from Logitech. This thing is amazing! The buttons all have tactile and audible feedback, It tracks without skipping directly on my desk, has highly adjustable DPI settings, including multiple DPI settings, as well as several cleverly placed buttons to assign frequently used key combinations to. If you have ever had that one project that required the same key combination and options over and over, simply hop into Logitech's gaming software, assign a macro to your preferred button in one of the on-board profiles on the mouse, and voila! Saves me so much time it's not even fair. Completely satisfied with this mouse, and would definitely buy it again. Even its weight and center of gravity can be tuned to your liking!

Well-Rounded Gaming Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new mouse after the death of my Razer Naga. I did some research online before my purchase and saw this on a top 10 list for gaming mice in 2015. I'd say it definitely lives up to the hype! I love the fact that you can adjust the weight of the mouse at any point on the bottom. I found it just a little too light right out of the box. I also love the button configuration. I have the thumb buttons set to straife for my mmorpg. The reviews said it would be great for any type of gaming, and I agree. The mouse is very comfortable, so it's easy to move; it tracks on anything, so I've never had cursor or movement issues; and there are plenty of buttons for what I need without getting too complex and complicated. I highly reccomend this mouse to anyone who is serious about gaming.

Nice Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse has a decent weight, and it can be adjusted with the included magnetic weights. All the buttons feel responsive, and the clickwheel can be changed from free-spinning to clicky. The light-up logo is a nice touch as well, and it fits well in my big hand.

Great mouse for both gaming and normal use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this for a couple of months and I will have to say with gaming, it's a great mouse. the response time and DPI is phenomenal. Even the better is when it gives you weights to adjust the areas that you can either play or surf with great precision and play. The only issue I see with this game is the price... $80 seems pretty steep for the mouse. I would think that decent mouse like this would be a little bit cheaper, but I can't complain. For me it doesn't feel 100% solid, but it's getting there.

Great gaming mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this mouse a few months back to replace an everyday normal mouse and the difference has been huge. I love the ability to add or take away weight depending of the game im playing. Having the extra buttons has also helped in a few different games.

Best Gaming Mouse Ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good weight, great controls, the multiple DPI settings are great for whatever type of game you might be playing, and are easily selectable. All buttons can be custom mapped, and the scroll wheel has a lock the allows a segmented spin and free-wheeling. 10/10 - Highly recommend.

Great gaming mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old wireless mouse was on its last leg and I needed an upgrade. This one has tunable lighting, and has enough buttons on it to use it for TrainSimulatorEnthusiasts.Com live streams. Every button has a purpose, which saves me time. Very reasonably priced

Much better than avg gaming mouse for a price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is based on a great price that I got this mouse for which was $30. (normally $79.99?) I bought it online and the original G502 that was sent to me had a bad left button(doesn't register sometimes), and a creaky middle scroll speed changer button. So I went to a store and did an even change for another, which also had a creaky middle scroll speed changer button. Design and fit of this mouse is very good, however build quality is a bit questionable. I've owned several Logitech mouses before and although they performed good for their model and price, they didn't last too long. Lets see how long this will last... I personally don't use all the buttons on this nice looking mouse, so I can't really comment on the functionality aspect, other than the fact that dpi and many other things are changeable through the software which is good and has adjustable weight. Would I buy this at a normal price? definitely not. However, it's definitely a great mouse for the price that I got and would recommend it at around the same price.

Smooth, precise, and adjustable.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a trackball (M570), I wanted to see what the fuss was all about with gaming mice. This mouse is excellent and I bought an extra one as a backup because it's great. It is easily adjustable to fit your preference. I thought that the weights were just a gimmick, but realized that they are actually very important. The weights and how they are arranged on the mouse actually affects the performance. At first, the mouse was twisting when I moved it side to side. After picking the correct weights and adjusting the arrangement, the mouse stopped twisting. The weights probably changed the center of mass of the mouse to stop it from twisting when I moved it. The sensor is also very smooth and precise. It can be tuned to the surface you are using. The ability to change the DPI is also very useful and should be great when moving to higher resolutions (4K).

Precise Mouse for Serious Gamers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse replaced my old Logitech MX510 I used for years and I'm happy to say its a great replacement. This mouse feels so much smoother when I move the cursor around the screen or when I look around in a video game. The buttons are in great spots on the mouse and don't really get in the way. The only issue I had with this mouse is the middle mouse wheel went crazy on me and it feels like it overspins sometimes. I would recommend using this mouse in conjunction with a mousepad for best results.

Wonderful mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was always wanting to try this mouse because of the little weights that can be added into the mouse. I have a strong preference to using heavy mouses. All the buttons are very easy to reach and the overall grip of the mouse is good for my palm.
