I love the older version of this mouse the Proteus Core g502, but I just built a new PC and wanted a new mouse to go with it. Not much has changed just the light and some of the detailing. It's still very much the same mouse.

The G502 is absolutely a fantastic mouse. You can assign or turn off buttons that you don't use. Since I game a lot, I do catch myself clicking on some buttons by accident. So I turn on, only the buttons that I use. If I was not gaming, all of the buttons are in nice location and very useful. The scroll button is awesome. You can turn off the clicker so that the wheel spins freely. Nice touch and I use it a lot when viewing long vertical web pages or pages in general of word or excel in general.. The analog sensor is one of the top of the line or next to it. No issues with the precision of the cursor and its super accurate. The best so far I've owned and I've owned a few gaming mouses. Awesome mouse and what I expected from Logitech. Highly recommend it.

Bought this to replace a worn out mouse. I love this pairing with my computer.

If you don't want a hundred buttons on your mouse, but do want a very good mouse that's responsive, good enough for gaming, and has a good cable, then this is for you. If you want a G5 replacement, this is the closest you're going to get.

It has just enough buttons to remain a simple extension of your hand, But still very versatile. Its sleek design fits well in the hand and is weighted as well so you can really dial in your gaming preference. It has made me a better gamer.

This is a huge upgrade if you're coming from a razor mouse. its multiple buttons allow me to customize the buttons for different tasks. this mouse along with the Logitech keyboard is a great combination, the rgb is just awesome.

This Logitech mouse is great. It feels great while playing games from FPS's to MMORPG's and real time strategy games. Its lightweight but heavy enough to feel where it is. The rgb is ok, nothing too spectacular if thats your thing though. The Logitech gaming software is easy to install and works as intended.
