Reason I'd buy this mouse again: It has a rest for your thumb. I looked at a lot of gaming nice before this one. You name it, Deathadder, Rival, Zowie, I even owned a SteelSeries RAW before this. And they're all great mice. However the real thing that sticks wth me is the fact that it has a type of rest for your thumb. I'm sure those that game will know the feeling of having your thumb get tired and in the way of your mouse. This mouse is the only one of the top contenders I know of with this feature. So go with it!

I bought this mouse on sale (otherwise don't bother) and it's been great for me. Logitechs software is easy and does whatever a gamer needs it to do. It comes with weights so you can customize the feel. Sensor is good. It is a bit small for my hands; which I think are pretty average-sized but I've gotten used to it. The cord leaves something to be desired too. It's getting a bit bent where it rubs my desk in the back which my old mice never did. All in all definitely worth the purchase and I'm satisfied.

I recently purchased a few different mice as I was unsure of what would be the best out of my options. Thanks to the Best Buy amazing return policy as an Elite Plus member, I had plenty of time to test things out. This was the mouse that I ended up keeping. Some of the other mice were too light, to small, or just didn't feel right in my hand. This mouse was different. It's almost as if they created it just for me. My hand perfectly wraps around it and my fingers fit perfectly. It has just enough extra buttons and they are actually comfortable to access, unlike some of the other mice out there. You can also adjust the weight of this mouse. I definitely recommend it. Pros: Great fit Great weight Accurate Looks good Cons: The plastic on the side sometimes get's sticky. I always use my tech with clean hands. Maybe it is from sweat. It is annoying but not annoying enough to knock it down a full star. My actual review would be 4.5 stars if I could.

This mouse is amazing. From all the programmable buttons, to the wheel lock, the tune-ableness of the mouse with weights and the RGB customization. My favorite part of this mouse is the DPI changer built into the ergonomic side of the mouse. I would highly recommend this product to any gamer.

I had a steel series before this and loved it, but this mouse blew me away. It extends my abilities even farther with adjustable weight and multiple dpi settings. The mouse is very comfortable for long uses. I would recommend this mouse to anyone and have done so. From fps games to mobas this mouse is amazing.

I picked up this mouse on sale and it has immediately blew my mind. The design is edgy and cool. You can control the brightness of the G-symbol or turn it completely off. The light only comes in blue, but my lighting setup is blue so I didn't mind. The buttons are customizable with Logitech software. All the main buttons have a natural click feel to it. The one thing that negatively stuck out to me was the placement of the sniper/DPI shift button. Because I have short fingers (aka short thumb), I have to extend my thumb just to reach the button, causing slight excessive strain on my hands. Now, I don't reach for that button too often, but I can't help but cringe every time I do. Some say you shouldn't depend on sniper buttons for fps games in order to develop your reflexes, so I'm trying that out. Overall, the responsiveness of this mouse really makes it ideal for gamers of any level.

I love this mouse! I finally broke down and purchased it after reading reviews and keeping my eye on it for a while and am so glad I did! For me personally I am partial to Logitech peripherals, just because the designs seem to fit my needs the best, and this is no exceptions. I also like that I only need one software for the matching G910 Logitech keyboard I have as well. The reason I like it the most is because of all the mice I tried it seemed to fit my hand the best. I also liked the scroll wheel features, the several different profiles you can use, and the fact that it as has basically 5 extra buttons you can use, but is not overwhelming like one of the ones with the full Num Pad on it. Personally I use it mostly for first and third person shooters (Battlefield 1 and Ghost Recon Wildlands.) I use it mostly to adjust my DPI on the fly, as well as to crouch or go prone with my right thumb. (Much easier for me than keyboard and can use them almost instantaneous.) I also love the fact that this one is all black but with RGB lighting so I can match my gaming rig colors.

I love this mouse, only downside is that there are some slight cosmetic variances from production. People say it's heavy, but I don't find it to be heavy at all. I got it on sale, but if you've got the money for full price, I'd absolutely recommend it.

I looked at the Razer brand and always have loved their mouse line, very responsive and great looking. Then I found this mouse and was all about it. Not as expensive as the Razer brand but still does just as well. The adjustable weights, my hand placement, the ability to change the DPI on the go, all of it made me a very happy gamer.

Smoot, fast, and responsive. Comes with weights if you like your mice heavier, but not really needed. Better than the Corsair at this price point. Feels really good in my hand, tons of buttons. Medium size mouse, with lights. Displayed at Best Buy, so I got to feel it before I bought it.

Best Gaming Mouse Since the G5

My beloved G5 was recently taken out of commission by a chew-happy kitten, and I was disappointed with the more up to date Logitech and Razer mice until this line came out. I miss the G5's smooth surface, but the Proteus Core has all of the features I loved. Adjustable weighting is key for long gaming sessions, and the precision and responsiveness keep me up to speed in Starcraft 2.

I buy way too many PC mice. I have been happy with some like the Razer Death Adder or the Logitech G700 but they were all shy of being perfect. The G502 Proteus Core however is amazing. It feels like an extension of my hand.

I bought this on sale for $40 and have really enjoyed all its features. Most of all, I enjoy the scroll wheel which can be locked to scroll as with a normal mouse or unlocked to quickly scroll through long pages or documents. It also works great as a gaming mouse with options to change the dpi without the need for software. My only complaint is that I sometimes accidentally change the dpi during gameplay but this is really only a minor complaint as this is rarely an issue.

I use this mouse for World of Warcraft and for Final Fantasy XIV. If you write in game macros and keybind the 3 buttons on the side to ctrl, shift, and alt, you can have a massive amount of keybinds without moving your hand across the keyboard. Example: /cast [nomod], /cast [mod:shift], /cast [mod:alt], /cast [ctrl] is 4 binds to 1 button in wow...that means you're finger travel time is reduced and your just faster at reacting to dynamic situations. this is a must have product.

I love this mouse. It's a decent size for my hand with long fingers. I'm grateful for the weights and put them all in. I enjoy having so many buttons and being able to remap them all. In the next version, I'd like to see more lights and maybe an improved grip on the scroll wheel.

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum mouse feels fantastic. The buttons are all easy to reach. They're responsive and the sensor is excellent. Setup of the mouse was quick and easy. Logitech's software is intuitive and easy to use. Customization for this mouse is very simple. RGB colors look very cool.

After play-testing this product for over 100 man-hours, I can definitely say this mouse rocks! You can set DPI profiles and change it on the fly. All the buttons feel responsive and sturdy. The additional thumb buttons opens up so many new gaming options. I cannot go back to a 2-button and a mouse wheel standard mouse after owning this essential product. CON: since it's wired and well-built, you cannot blame your lack of gaming dexterity on your mouse or on dead batteries.
