I know others had had negative comments about the scroll wheel on this mouse, but I think it's great. There are two settings, either discrete clicks or free-spinning that can be toggled on the fly. The many buttons are all easily reachable and it fits my hand comfortably. I first encountered this mouse at PAX prime in the Wargaming demo booth and loved the feel of it.

I have used this mouse since it's release and it's been great. I do not need RGB lighting so when it was on sale the 30$ price tag was a steal. I use a hard mouse pad and after a year or so of use the feet started to see some hard wear and tear (replaced the feet with a $6 pair off of amazon; functions like brand new). Great for gaming.

great slim mouse for smaller hands

Great slim mouse design for smaller hands, which I have. I tend to follow a brand a lot, and prior to purchasing these my desktop used Corsair products for keys and mouse, I have a K70 Rapidfire RGB keyboard and tried both the Glaive and M65 Pro, but despite the fact that both mouses (mice? meese?) were well built and well-intentioned, they were simply too big and I found myself 'clawing' them too often to access the side mouse buttons. With the Logitech G502, that was no longer a problem. With the slim profile, I have access to all the buttons, and it feels built for my hand. Mice are generally to each their own type of experience, but this one finally satisfied what I needed. Adjustable DPI is a great feature, as is the ability to change the scrolling middle mouse button to a 'freewheel' feel (as opposed to the clicks you normally feel when scrolling), but I really love the customization allowed by adding weights to increase the heft. My only gripe, which I knocked a star for, and it is a small one, is that the DPI adjusting buttons are really tight to the left mouse button, and in the heat of play I can tend to tap them, increasing the DPI/speed of the pointer and reducing my accuracy. I only wish these two buttons were a bit more isolated and not as prone to inadvertent tapping. Great feeling, great looking, all around good mouse for the price.

I love this mouse! I have been an avid Razer fan for years but decided to branch out because my favorite team is a Logitech team. I'm not saying I don't like other products, but I have been very happy with this mouse! I have 2 profiles saved for regular browsing vs gaming, I have just the right amount of weight, the buttons were easy to customize, and it is just awesome!

this mouse is very nice. easy to use. what I like is that it has some extra buttons. the sniper button is kinda har to reach let alone for me to get used to. however there is a easier button to reach and you can change it to that button instead. I myself just use it as a regular button. you can also make a button a shift button. took a bit to get down how to set it all up though. will gladly help. the extra buttons are nice especially in fps games. I will usually bind them to either frags and special nades, or cycle thru kill streaks, or to use killstreaks, etc. the tracking and response is great so far. I had a decent mouse before that had great tracking but was wireless. this mouse has improved my play slightly more. I am already a decent player as is. another mention with the sniper button is that you can use it the other way. I may try this out more. I am already used to having my settings low so I can aim better. if you want to look around a bit faster tell you see someone, then you can set the dpi shift button (sniper button) so that you have to hold the button down and it will slow the dpi down. or you can hold it down to speed the dpi up. if nothing else then you can set the buttons up for binds. if you run a server, are an admin for a server, etc. either thru the game itself or thru the program.

Bought this mouse for a new gaming PC. Works well, can hold multiple dpi settings which go further than I think a normal human could even make use of. Smooth scrolling is also a great feature that I haven't used before, makes me dislike all other computer mice that don't have that feature.

this is a very nice mouse its a little on the high side but absolutely love it. the cord is so flexible for a gaming mouse it doesn't get caught on anything at all which has always been a pain for me and why i usually use wireless i just hate switching the battery's and the added weights is good for hardcore gamers and of course i love the arx control support for it

Coming off of a Corsair M95, the Logitech G502 is an excellent replacement. The software used to customize keys and adjust DPI is pretty good, though not as good as it could be.

I like this mouse quite a bit, the buttons are in a perfect spot for my grip and the DPI levels are easy to change. I like the FPS throttle button that raises your DPI insanely high for last minute head shot targeting (Or buttons or whatever) Only downside is the right edge of the mouse needs a little more build out for big hands. It can cause a little cramping over long play sessions with hands my size.

I had the G500s prior to getting this and while it is somewhat similar in terms of features it does feel like a different mouse. Other than the standard buttons on a mouse, it has the DPI switching buttons near the left mouse button, a scrolling wheel switch that toggles between a free wheel or slow scroll, three thumb buttons with the third smaller button located between the two longer ones is by default used as a DPI shifting button. All of these buttons can be reprogrammed using the Logitech Gaming software and can also have multiple profiles assigned to various applications (yes, even none-gaming ones). It is slightly smaller or shorter than the G500s, which feels better to me since I don't have big hands. It has a rubberized feel on the left and right sides where the thumb on one side and the ring and pinky fingers on the other side rests. The feel of the clicking on all buttons is pretty good. Only complaint is perhaps the placement of the thumb buttons do take some getting used to if you plan on using those buttons extensively. Otherwise, it feels pretty good overall. Aesthetically, it might be a hit or miss considering that it does have a look of an alien ship, which may be a turn off to some people but didn't bother me personally. The LED lights are a neat addition and like the buttons can be reprogrammed per profile. It also comes with weights like its predecessor, the G500s, which can be placed in a compartment under the mouse. Perfomance wise it is comparable to its predecessor and it does the job pretty well especially in games that require precision like first person shooters. Ofcourse, having programmable buttons also makes it pretty nice to place custom commands or macros if needed and being able to set-up per application profiles, makes it easier. Great mouse and for the value I got it for during Black Friday it is overall a great buy,

I originally had a Corsair gaming mouse to go with my keyboard but it was knocked off my desk and had the plastic shatter. I wanted a new mouse that was sturdier with less seemingly superfluous pieces of plastic that did not actually do anything. If you want a mouse that has a million lights on it you're going to be disappointed. While one side does light up it's not that amazing of a display. What you lose in aesthetics you get back in solid weight and feel. The mouse is more streamlined and smaller which is good since it feels like gaming mice are getting clunkier with each iteration. The mouse comes with a bunch of metal weights that fit into a compartment that you can open on the bottom of the mouse. This allows you to find that perfect weight which I really appreciated. Has two side finger buttons, a (in my opinion useless) sniper button that turns the sensitivity to it's almost lowest setting, two sensitivity control buttons, and a steel mouse wheel that can be unclicked so you can spin it freely which is fun in a way. You can download the computer app that allows you to tweak the DPS until your heart's content with different profiles for specific games. The app also changes the colors on your mouse lights. All in all I'm very happy with this mouse and would recommend it over the pricier Razer and Corsair mice available on the market.
