    Great gaming mouse

I've been a die-hard fan of Logitech products for a long time, not only because their quality control is pretty good, but also their excellent customer service as well. I owned a Logitech G9X before, and it went well until it has some problems with double click but only as fast tapping, which is not really comfortable for me since I play games a lot. That's why I file a warranty claim and surprisingly, Logitech sent me a G500s and did not even ask me to send the mouse back. However, the G500s is a tad heavier and the grip style doesn't fit mine, so I have to look for something new again. My opportunity came when this mouse was on sale at $55 at Bestbuy, and I bought it without hesitating. At first I still doubted in my mind about how my product will go. But after using for couple weeks, I can safely say that this is one of the best gaming mouse I've ever had. - Sensor: Optical, definitely top tier at the present, if not the best. Very precise, without acceleration. Although I must admit that some times the mouse I'm using does have some weird movements. I believe my mouse is defective in some way, and will get the replacement later on. - Switch: feels okay, but I often right click easily. I guess it's due to the design. The hyperscroll wheel is always a pleasure to use. - Build: Feels very sturdy and "mechanical". When it first came out, I thought this one is like a combination between Logitech and Mad Catz. The LED so far doesn't die yet. - Design: basically for Claw grip or Finger tip, and a little bit small to some people. - Feet: they looks kinda week and will get worn out in a while. When that time comes, you can go to ebay and search for G502 Teflon feet to fix your girl at a really cheap price. - Software: still one of the strong points from Logitech, the software lets you set up dpi, polling rate, and macro keys. I myself really like the fact that now I can control the volume of the computers via my mouse or even open some tasks. - Warranty: 3 years, which are great comparing to their competitors. Also, the Customer Service representatives are very active, and the process will not be a hassle at all. Overall, a great product. Definitely recommend. FYI, I owned Logitech MX518, Microsoft IE 3.0, Razer DeathAdder, Logitech G9X, Steelseries Sensei Raw, Logitech G500s, Logitech G602, Steelseries Rival. Was that enough credibility for this review? :)

I have been using a Razer Ouroboros for the better part of two years and while I did enjoy it this mouse in every way trumps it. Logitech has always had the most comfortable mice in my opinion. This mouse excels in the comfort department. As far as button placement its great for people with small and large hands. The only issue is the buttons used for DPI sensitivity, they are a bit hard to reach in a hurry.

I love love love this mouse! It comes with weights so you can make the mouse as heavy as you would like it to, the programmable keys on the side if are great for gaming. You can either lock or unlock the wheel so it spins endlessly or you have controlled scrolling. It also helps that it lights up pretty colors, haha. I really like the mouse. It's comfortable to hold and works great!

It is a great mouse to use for gaming. Customization on weight, DPI, buttons layout and even lights on the mouse. It would be great if i can adjust the size for a bit. hand is too big for the mouse.

I have Logitech M510 and G5 mice and love them both, but wanted a gaming mouse with more than 2 buttons on the thumb side to go with a new gaming rig. This mouse has a very solid, high quality feel to it. It is a bit larger than most. SO far it has been great, with the button layout being very simple to learn. Great tracking, button action and wheel. Three sensitivity settings, adjustable on the fly. Can be set to user preferences in the software. Also has built in lighting effects which are also user adjustable in the software. All buttons fully programmable for actions and macros. Adjustable weights. Great so far and it was less than half price the day I bought it.

    Best Mouse I've Ever Used

This is easily the best mouse I've ever used (small sample size, though). The mouse fits well in my hands, but I use more of a claw grip. When laying my palm on the mouse the plastic feels a little slippery. The optical sensor is very accurate and the DPI options are plentiful. The software is easy to use, and all the extra shortcut buttons are easy to program and easy to reach for normal usage.

I have had plenty of gaming mouse...mice?.. and while I can't say this one is the best, that goes to the Microsoft wireless sidewinder that is no longer made, I can say that this one is up their. It has decent weight to it, the DPI can be adjusted to suite a variety of play styles, and while not essential the backlit logo with adjustable colors is a nice touch. The buttons for the most part, are accessible and the design is ergonomically sound enough so that your fingers rest easy and feel comfortable on the mouse which makes it good for prolonged gaming sessions. The braided cord is nice as well so all in all I'd say if you're thinking about getting a decent gaming mouse that is well built, will last for some time, is comfortable, and will lend itself well to long gaming and work sessions then this is a good purchase imo.

I bought a g303 mouse after reading good reviews, but found it too small for my preference. The g502 is much larger, more ergonomic (for righties) and has a few nice features for gaming, including several reprogrammable buttons that may be a little difficult to reach while playing(haven't tried rebinding yet) and a dedicated 'sniper' button that lowers the DPI rate for more accurate targeting. The g502 also includes adjustable weights.

I looked at several reviews before purchasing this mouse and decided to pull the trigger on this one. It has everything you need in a gaming mouse. Not too many buttons to be annoying, but enough to take care of all tasks. The weights are a nice addition, but I’m not sure how much they really help. Logitech comes through again with another winner.

Have had this about 2 months. I love it. Center wheel is great, all the buttons are very responsive. Not one complaint so far. It comes with weights for overall adjustments I ddn't think I would use them but I have and it does help. The USB connection wire is very long no issues hooking it up. To get the software that comes with it you have to go out to the website and download it.

I've yet to use the mouse for gaming but having the adjustable balance is an awesome feature. I fine tuned the mouse to my feel, it's very comfortable, light and fast. I paired it with the Logitech gaming mouse pad and the mouse seems to almost float across the pad. I can't wait to get gaming with them.

There's a reason why G502 has really good rep with competitive gamers. I don't really think I'm *that* much of a serious gamer when it comes to competitive PC, so for the longest time I was using a generic Microsoft wireless mouse for CS:GO. When I got this mouse, I immediately noticed a massive difference in control. There are a lot of hotkeys you can change to your liking. If you play FPS, then I highly recommend keeping in the DPI keys where they are. It helped me a ton when I was trying to figure out my DPI/sensitivity combination. DPI is absolutely essential to getting the right aim. I wouldn't have believed it before (being a casual pleb), but yeah, G502 changed my mind. Oh, did I mention this mouse comes with tiny weights. WTF!? That's insane. I don't know much of a difference it makes, but it's pretty awesome.

I have a love-hate relationship with this mouse. I bought it based on the display I've seen at Bestbuy, it looks good and felt comfortable, in fact it's one of the most comfortable mouses I have ever used. It has really good features on the mouse, the buttons, button placement, clicking, programing, it's all great. I love the software for programing this mouse, it's very nice and easy to use. In no time you'll have your mouse setup. And while I love the look and feel of this mouse, there is on flaw I felt was overlooked — the mouse wheel. I loved the metal look of the wheel, and I do love that you can just set it loose to spin on its own for what seems like an eternity, however that's part of the problem. Because the metal wheel is so heavy, it actually feels very uncomfortable, scrolling and clicking. I have to put extra pressure on the wheel to move it and it makes my finger pretty numb after moving it for a bit. Unlocking the wheel doesn't help much, because at that point, just a small scroll up or down causes me to scroll too far. And each time I click down on the mouse, I can feel the tip of my finger going numb too. I kept the mouse and just traded with my GF, her R.A.T. 5 for my G502. She loves the G501 and I love the R.AT. 5. So in the end, it worked out. All the gripes I have with this mouse are personal, maybe someone with bigger hands, or longer fingers would enjoy this more. I've been told I have short cartoon fingers, so...

As you would expect with a Logitech mouse, it's very well made and seems like it will last a long time. It has a lot of buttons for gaming, and is very precise in moving the pointer, especially if you install the Logitech software. It's a bit small for my large hands, especially considering that there is a prominent button near the end of the thumb rest that I am forever clicking accidentally (which I set to do nothing). The weight system is great for tuning the feel of the mouse, I personally use all the weights because I prefer a heavier mouse.

I purchased this mouse about a month ago and everything about it is wonderful. If you're a palm gripper you'll have trouble reverting to a claw grip, but other than that the buttons are even placed, very quick response time and with the dpi shift button there is room for no errors. Buy this mouse if you want a good brand, and cheap price

Great mouse. Software can be a little complex/tricky, so I left my DPI/sensitivty on default which works fine. Lighting on the mouse is great and mouse feels great in hand. There are two buttons next to the left-click mouse button and sometimes those two buttons can be accidentally clicked, just heads up. Greta mouse, 10/10 still using.

This mouse can be very sensitive (high dpi) as well as has an excellent feel. I liked how you are able to customize the weight of the mouse as well as the distribution of that weight -- novel feature. The software that accompanies the mouse is very full-featured, allowing customized settings to the mouse on a per-game basis.
