After waiting months for this to come in stock in white color because Logitech would rather upsell you on RGB you cover with your hand, I finally got my hands on this. I took this out of the box, clicked the left click button. Louder than my G502, but still sounded like a click. The right-click button on the other hand, sounded like I was flicking an empty aluminum soda can. I looked this up and this is typical for this mouse. Not worth $140. It went right back in the box to be returned. It is extremely frustrating that there is little competition to the G502 because there are a great many things that could be improved. I was excited for the optical switches and better grip, but cannot deal with the awful pinging sound of the right-click.

Compare to the G502 lightspeed normal, this a lot lighter which I couldn't get use to it. Hopefully in the future they will implement the usb c to it too.

let me be honest, compared to the original g502 it's pretty much the exact same thing, but the g502 x lightspeed got some noticeable quality of life improvements that do justify a revision. First off Logitech ditched the horrendous blue RGB accent for a smooth, sleek, and sexy matte black finish that will compliment any battle station. The plastic material feels good on the fingers and the rubber grip doesn't make MY hands sweat. This was a big concern of mine as more and more peripherals these days feature some form of rubber textured grip that I am personally not fond of ( I'm looking at you Xbox ) moving on the mouse is a bit lighter than it's predecessor coming in at about 102grams and the original was 121grams. This mouse features PTFE feet. Which from what I understand is supposed to be a premium feature. To my knowledge there are three types of feet you can put on a mouse. Glass feet, PTFE feet and stock feet most mice have shipped from the factory. Each of them have their pros and cons and results for all of them will vary based on the material your mouse pad is made out of, but I haven't had enough time with this mouse to determine whether or not the feet live up to the hype. Another really nice change they made to this mouse is G4 and G5 are the same size now! On the old g502 G5 was bigger than G4 and it felt super awkward to me. You can also take the G6 button out completely and replace it with a plastic place holder so it's no longer a pressable button. I will say I liked the metal scroll wheel on the original g502 more than this new plastic scroll wheel. It also feels that when using the infinite scroll wheel feature the scroll wheel doesn't scroll as fast/far as the metal scroll wheel does. The battery in this mouse is an absolute monster. I didn't charge the mouse when I got it which was 9/21/22 ( wanted to let it die all the way before I charge it ) and it's been going strong for 21 days and counting on factory charge. Battery life is currently at 8% which will probably last me at least 3 - 5 more days? This mouse sees heavy use too. it's on 8 - 10 hours a day sometimes. All things considered the price drop alone makes this mouse worth purchasing. It's got numerous new and improved features, no rgb, it's lighter, the optical switches feel nice, and it's got a crazy good battery. The original wireless g502 is $150.00 and the revision is $140.00. Just do yourself a favor and buy the mouse.

Truly sorry to hear about your troublesome experience with the product. We will take this as feedback and pass it on to the right team. However, be informed that It is recommended that the product or receiver is connected directly to the computer and not to a hub, extender, switch or something similar and move the device closer to the USB receiver. Also, keep other electrical wireless devices away from the USB receiver to avoid interference.

Phenomenal lightweight mouse with a gorgeous design! The only wish I had is that it had the ability to switch between the usb and Bluetooth which comes in handy if you have multiple devices.
