Terrific Mouse, Pairs wonderfully with PowerPLAY
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The functionality and design are well shown off for this mouse. The gaming software was easy to install (once I went to logitech's site) and setup was a snap. I paired this with the powerplay charging mousepad and never have to worry about my batteries dying at the wrong moment again. The plethora of buttons within easy reach on this mouse is a great replacement for my old G700 that died. I could find a direct replacement with Logitech's offerings, but was going to get a Hero 502 before seeing this one release, and I'm glad I waited. The RGB is a gimmick for non-professional players, but it does add a nice feature for seeing the mouse in a dark room gaming.

Good mouse, better options out there.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse tracks well, buttons are nice and clicky but the scroll wheel leaves a bit to be desired, especially at this price point. The battery life is lack luster, even with the lights turned off. However, with the lighting on, the effect is pretty impressive. In an average sized hand, it fits well and is pretty ergonomic using it between palm and claw grip. The real stinker is the awful Logitech Hub software that is required now, I've found it better to just load a profile into memory and ignore their awful software if you can. For this premium price there are better options out there.

A Flagship Reborn and Perfected
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the Logitech G502X Lightspeed Plus for the last week and I haven't been able to stop using it. So much so that I can't decide if the Razer Viper Ultimate V2 Pro is still my favorite mouse of all time or if this Logitech G502X Plus has just taken it's place. After going through countless gaming mice over the years that boast all the latest tech and features, I've narrowed down three core components that matter the most to me: mouse shape and how it conforms to my hand, the sensor, and weight. While these three core components are of most significance to me, the additional components such as the scroll wheel, mouse skates, physical buttons, and software are the defining factors that complete the overall package. They ultimately help aid my decision in whether I make a mouse my daily driver or not. After about a week's use, I'm convinced that Logitech has delivered a flagship product worthy of a daily driver. For someone with medium to large hands, I find the mouse shape of this Logitech G502X plus right on the cusp of absolute perfection. For context, my hand measures 7.5" height (from the base of my wrist to the tip of my middle finger) by 4.25" width (measuring across my palm including my thumb). While mouse shape and size ultimately comes down to personal preference, I find the shape of this G502X perfect for interchanging between my preferred palm and claw grip. It also has a more prominent hump than the smaller Viper Ultimate V2 which adds an ergonomic comfort that is not present in the Viper Ultimate. While in some scenarios (mainly competitive FPS short gaming sessions) I may still prefer the more low profile shape of the Viper Ultimate V2 Pro, I'm noticing that the more ergo shape of this G502X makes for a much more comfortable experience for long gaming sessions. It does so without compromising on my performance either as I've found the ability to maneuver the mouse to be about the same. While the weight of 104 grams is significantly heavier than a lot of today's popular gaming mice, for my medium to large hands, this was a non issue. I also found that the heavier weight of this mouse is easily counteracted by the stellar mouse shape and thumb rest which provided some of the best handling I've ever experienced. And if you were a big fan of the original G502 (which I certainly was back in the day!), you'll be happy to know that it's now lighter than the original 114 grams. In terms of the Hero 25k sensor, there's really not much to say other than it's a flawless sensor. I played countless hours of Overwatch, Counter-Strike GO, Vanguard, Warzone, Doom Eternal, etc., and was very impressed with it's insanely accurate tracking performance. I never experienced any sort of input lag, stutter, or delays when using it wirelessly. Another thing I really love is it's default lift off distance out of the box. When using AWPs or scouts in CS:GO, this is something that has always been immediately apparent to me. I either have to mess with LOD settings or scrap the mouse all together. This G502X is well balanced in this regard. Testing the sensor across a multitude of different screen sizes and resolutions with different DPI settings, the tracking always felt perfect. When it comes to the additional hardware components, this mouse is just well built. The pure PTFE feet glide effortlessly on practically any surface. I'm also a huge fan of the infinite scroll wheel. It's something I find myself using more and more for productivity work. It's also very sturdy with prominent clicks. In terms of the physical buttons, Logitech's new hybrid optical switches feel extremely satisfying. By far the best switches I've ever felt on a mouse. This is something that Logitech has always gotten right and now it's better than ever. They feel very crisp with great tactile actuation. This has always been a bit of a sore point on my Viper Ultimate V2 since the optical switches feel a bit mushy. Of course, this new G502X plus comes with a sniper button as was originally featured back when the G502 was first debuted. I love that Logitech now gives you the option to remove it altogether and replace it with an unobtrusive button that's included in the box. Another feature that I like is the additional G7 and G8 buttons which allow you to map them to whatever you want. By default, they function as DPI toggles (up/down) which is a feature that is being stripped on a lot of new flagship gaming mice in order to make them as light as possible (not a fan!). Lastly, the Logitech G Hub software is a joy to use. It's minimalistic and intuitive design interface accompanied by a plethora of different customization options, just helps to accent what is already a top notch product. G-Hub tells you exactly how much battery you have left (down to the power consumption of your mouse), allows you to set multiple profiles, map buttons, change RGB lighting, create macros, and customize DPI speeds. I love the "on-board memory mode" option. This is perfect for those who don't want to mess with software. Just set everything once and those changes will be saved onto the physical on-board memory of the mouse so your settings will just automatically load whenever you boot your PC. I was not expecting to like this mouse as much as I did. Although I was a big fan of the original G502, somewhere down the line I got caught up in the ultra light weight gaming mouse trend. So much so, that I had forgotten how iconic this mouse shape (and it's thumb rest) is and how well it conforms to my hand; an easy tradeoff for a slightly heavier mouse that most users can easily adapt to. Combine that with useful software, sleek PTFE feet, amazing hybrid optical switches, a flawless sensor, and an epic scroll wheel, and you have one of the best, if not THE best, flagship gaming mice currently out!

Fantastic gaming mouse--wireless OR wired!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech has always made very cool gaming products. The G502 wireless gaming mouse is no exception, I'm happy to say! Like most products these days, there is very little literature in the box--'instructions' that are basically pictures, a QR code and the web address. In the box are the mouse, dongle and a good, long braided wire for charging or using the mouse wired. While it's basically 'plug and play', I HIGHLY recommend downloading the Logitech Hub from their website. Having that on your gaming computer enables this mouse to do an amazing amount of things--some cool but not totally necessary, while others are incredibly innovative! The coolest feature that is unnecessary but pretty neat is the lighting scheme. There's a lot to choose from through the hub, from 'random waves' of light to a stationary color of your choosing (and there's almost too many to choose from). Neat, but won't really affect your gaming haha. The other features, however, are pretty amazing. The DPI is adjustable all the way up to 3200!! That is crazy precise, but also a fairly standard feature in gaming mice these days. What isn't standard but is very cool is the adjustable "DPI Shift" button! You can pre-set it for a specific sensitivity for games that have that one crazy moment where you need it to be ultra-sensitive. The best part is, it works REALLY well! Going hand in hand with that is the 'profile' settings that can be saved to the mouse itself! You can save up to five specific profiles and recall them whenever you need to! It makes changing from one game to another very fast, as you don't have to go through and change each individual setting on the mouse. Of course the other buttons are programmable (almost always a feature of gaming mice these days) but having the ability to change them all 'on the fly' with the press of a button is amazing! The wheel is sold as an "ultrafast wheel" and it lives up to it. It's got a satisfying 'click' when you scroll, but even with that the wheel is probably the fastest I've used. This is a wireless mouse, but it also comes with a very long, braided wire for charging or for using--either while you charge, or (my preference) all the time. The mouse is very responsive either way. I barely registered a difference with or without the wire. Maybe just a millisecond slower when using it wireless, but that might just be my brain trying to convince me there's a difference. Personally I have so many dongles right now, and such a bad track record for losing them, that I really appreciate you can use this mouse either way. The cord is easily replaceable as it's a standard cord...in my experience the dongles are not so easy to replace. If you are looking for a great gaming mouse with a TON of useful features you can't go wrong with this one--whether you prefer wired or wireless. In a word, this is quite possibly the best gaming mouse I've ever used!

Great mouse with a ton of advanced features.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great mouse for gaming or even just for working. It suits all my needs and has some awesome functions that my other basic mouse didn’t have. The mouse connects via a USB A dongle and does not have BlueTooth. Windows and Mac will let it function like a normal mouse once you plug it in, but you need to download the Logitech G Hub for the more advanced features. Installing the software was easy and I didn’t have any problems with the install. Charging the mouse is done with a USB A to USB C cable. The G Hub software does make it easy to set your functions. The Hub allows you to create different profiles so that you can assign them easily with the G Hub app. One awesome feature is the ability to switch it to on board mode which stores your settings on the device instead of having to connect with the G Hub to change anything. I currently have this off, but nice to know this feature is here. Settings with the software include changing your DPI settings where you can adjust the DPI and even remove the settings that you don’t want. By default, the profile that comes with the mouse has 800, 1200, 1600, 2400, and 3200 DPI. You can only set a maximum of 5 speeds total on the mouse. Assigments allows you to customize the mouse with Windows/Mac commands, Keys, Actions for Discord, Overworld, and OBS, Macros, and System settings for launching applications. I admittedly didn’t use too many of these advanced features, mainly just the OS commands. If you had these options on another gaming mouse, you should be able to use them here. You can change the Lightsync LED to specific colors, animations, brightness, and this will also display your battery life once you change these settings. Even with adjusting the brightness down to a much lower setting the LEDs are still bright enough. There are a few animations like Breathing, Pulsar Point, Ocean Wave, Color Wave, and even a fixed color setting if you don’t want anything highly animated. Obviously these settings will affect the battery life, so for you this will vary. Settings in the G Hub include power consumption and how long it will take for the mouse to full charge. Here you can also check for firmware updates along with an inactivity light setting when the mouse is idle. The scroll wheel took a little getting used to for me because it is much faster compared to my other mouse. You can click a button to give it a mechanical scroll which I prefer not to use, but have for certain situations where I wanted to be mindful of my scrolling. Overall, I am very happy with this mouse. The clicks of the mouse button don’t sound like you’re clicking on a toy and is overall quieter than my other regular mouse. It’s not too loud and not too quiet. I’ve had this mouse for about 5 days and still have plenty of battery power left. You can still use the mouse when it’s charging as well, which is another plus in my opinion.

Logitech G502 X Plus Lightspeed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome mouse. Very lightweight and comfortable to use. I had the original G502 Hero years back but ended up losing it in a move and went with a different brand in the interim. Feels good to be back. The only downsides are the software and LED placement could be improved since your hand obscures it for the most part. Unfortunately this one does not come with weights but I will be using tungsten putty.

Best Mouse I’ve Used
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The responsiveness is really fast. The movement feels great and it easily glides across my desk. I have larger hands and it still fits comfortably. All the buttons feel great and have a nice but not too annoying clicking sound, and the scroll wheel feels good too. The RGB is cool but you never really see it so you might consider getting the cheaper lightspeed version (it’s the same as the plus just without rgb). The battery life was really good even with the rgb on, but if you have to plug it in, the movement still feels good. Overall it’s a great mouse and I definitely recommend it if you’re willing to spend the money.

My current main for MMOs!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a bit of a gaming mouse enthusiast/tester, and I am ALWAYS on the hunt to find that mouse that will be the "Endgame". I have tested well over 50 different mice this year alone in all types of game genres like MMOs, MOBAs, and FPS games. For a while, I have strayed away from the mainstream gaming peripheral companies like Razer, Logitech, Corsair, etc just because of the drastic decrease in quality and overall feel of the mice. However, this one has surprised me. While I do continue to have issues with their Logitech G Hub app on Windows 11, the mouse itself feels amazing. Button placement is great. The two additional left click buttons are easy to press while resistant enough to prevent misclicking them. The "sniper" button on the side is always a welcomed touch and you can remove it if you don't like it. The scroll wheel is nice, and the free scroll is awesome as well. The scroll wheel tilt buttons (Left and right) CAN be a bit sensitive sometimes, but you can disable them in the app if you keep pressing them. The battery life is fantastic. I played for about 2 days at 8 hours a session with RBG on, and I never had to recharge it. Now that I think about it, I never had it die on me once. I am noticing a strange issue with the sensor glitching and acting like I have the DPI at 25000 and flung my mouse across the desk, spinning my character in game at Mach speed...but I have suspicions that it is my mouse pad causing it as it is glass. All in all, this is a great mouse if you want comfort while playing games. While it isn't the lightest mouse out there, it def doesn't shorthand you with features, and the price is spot on for what you get.

The 502X is the Best I have owned
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using Logitech mice for a very long time. I owned 3 G602 mice and thought these would never be replace, but now we have this and two non-x 502 versions. When I bought original 2 mice, I had some reservations, but overall very good with exception to the noisy scroll wheel and lag to identify at start using GHUB. This is not much different in that regard, but a bit better. The Scroll wheel is quite. Then I got this one. What a difference in all regards. Logitech stepped up their game on this version. It is fast, precise and the buttons are much more positive that the standard 502 IMO. You have a bit more control over the RGB with this one but not that special. It looks nice when not being used, but like most, when in use it is hidden anyway. I highly recommend this product as an upgrade to the standard 502. It you catch it on sale, grab one.

All around winner of best mouse for me.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not many choices in white gaming mice but I think I tried them all. Corsair, Turtle Beach, Redragon, other Logitechs. This one ended up being my favorite. Jut the right size for most hands. Perfect thumbrest and scroll wheel. The software is really easy to use unlike Razer and Corsair. Mice are very much a matter of personal preference and this is mine. Only issue is initial lag when waking up. Takes a few seconds to figure out where it left the cursor. Even happens wired. Great RGB too!

Pretty Nifty!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was an early adopter of the G502 when it first came out and I have always considered it one of my favorites even after moving on to an MMO-style mouse. With the redesign, I'm happy to say that it retains many of the aspects that made me fall in love with it. The RGB lighting is bold but tasteful, the new scroll wheel feels great to use with clear and distinct ratcheting, and the white colorway goes along well with the more subtle shape that resembles the gamer aesthetic without being cringe. I would definitely recommend it for fans of the original but you will have to splurge since the price is way too steep for a mouse, especially considering that the wired version costs half as much. Definitely consider the non-RGB version if you have any sense but don't let that stop you from splurging if you already have too many RGB accessories.

Indeed a Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keep in mind I write this review with Ghub software in mind. This Product has treated me quite well for the time I have had it. I recently upgraded from the original G502 and at first, I had doubts that it would be a improvement, but its earn its self as an upgrade. Mouse Feels way more responsive despite the sensors seeming the same. clicks feel great, a little loud, Its decently light, you can not change the weight like the last one though, BLUETOOTH IS AWSOME. I have my PC located upstairs in my room, and when I brough my mouse downstairs while streaming my pc the delay for the mouse was like an added 1-4 millisecond delay, not very noticeable, but it has great range. It is also very comfortable for people who have big hands like me. I got the mouse during the Logitech world recycle time and got the mouse at a great price after trading in my old Logitech mouse.
