Which would disconnect in WIRED mode. It was also overall very inconsistent. I almost gave up on wireless mice but then a buddy highly recommended this, I'm glad I gave it a try I love it. I bought a white one, and a week later bought a black one as a spare. Its battery life is excellent, a side note though the Ghub software can be quite buggy. If you can find it on sale it's a must have, I will admit the MSRP asking is pretty high for a mouse.

The g502x is a great mouse out of the box. The optical switches feel great at first click and the slight redesign has made button placement much better. All in all, a great upgrade to an already dependable gaming mouse series.
