Excellent Gaming Headset
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech G522 Lightspeed wireless gaming headset is an excellent choice for your gaming needs. The G522 Headset has up to 70 hours of wireless gaming. This means you can spend more time gaming instead of charging. I've been using them over the past couple days, and I still have 90% charge. These are a one size fit all type of setup, meaning there are no adjustments necessary to get the perfect fit for your head/ears. You just put them on and they fit. The cups are cushioned very well and are quite comfortable. I wear glasses while gaming, and I didn't feel any extra stress in that area that would make me want to remove them. The controls are all easily accessible on the left cup. There are only a couple buttons and a volume control, so it's easy to remember what does what, and where it is at. You get excellent range too, up to 98 feet via wireless. This comes in handy when you need to go to the kitchen or bathroom and not miss any part of chats You get two types of connectivity, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth. I love this type of setup because you can simultaneously connect to your PC and phone and be able to answer any incoming calls while you are gaming. The sound quality is there out of the box, but I love the fact you can tailor the sound to your liking via the Logitech G Hub software. There are lots of options you can adjust, and you also get access to DTS spatial sound through the app which to me make a huge difference in your gaming and video watching experience. You also get access to the RGB lighting on the headset as well, and there are many options to chose from, and you can also customize your own personal colors. The detachable mic is a nice touch. There are many times when I don't need to use a mic, and I can just remove it. Also, a really cool feature of the mic is when you mute it, it has a red led on the tip that you can see when you look down so that your know immediately whether your mic is hot or not. Overall, I really enjoy using this gaming headset, and would definitely recommend it.

Posted .This is an absolutely stellar review of the Logitech G522 Lightspeed wireless gaming headset! We're genuinely thrilled to hear how much you enjoy its features and performance.
It's fantastic that the impressive 70-hour battery life is letting you game longer without interruption, and we're especially happy that the "one size fits all" design, cushioned earcups, and comfortable fit (even with glasses!) are making your experience so seamless. The easily accessible controls on the left cup and the excellent wireless range are definitely features we focused on for convenience.
We're also delighted you're making the most of the dual connectivity (2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth) for simultaneous PC and phone use, and that the sound quality, customizable via G Hub software with DTS spatial sound, is enhancing your immersion. The RGB lighting options are a cool bonus, and your appreciation for the detachable mic and its red LED mute indicator is spot on – those small details really make a difference. Thanks for the strong recommendation!

Good mid range gaming headset
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the opportunity to try these. I have 2 basic g435's that my kids use with an adapter for their switches that have worked well. They were light and comfortable, and after almost 2 years, they are doing good. These are about triple the cost of those, but build wise these are a bit sturdier, and have the flexible mic out front. These have colored leds that you can control by the logitech g hub app. I have that already installed on my computer because I am using mice from logitech already, so this connected easily. You can customize what the lights are doing, or turn them off. Battery life will vary with that they claim 40 hours with constant lights, and 70 plus hours with lights off (website mentioned 90) I know with my family use here in the summer, these last about 2 weeks on our system. The mic’s sound is good and clear, it is flexible and can push in our out and up a bit, but does not tilt out of the way. It is removable and connects solidly by 3.5mm jack. They fit snug and the muffs seal fairly well, and are made of a breathable material. I have a couple other sets from competitors at this market level, and these sound at fit much like them. These are slightly lighter, so prolonged wearing is comfortable. The sound is very good and if you listen to music, the right blend of highs and lows. But for gaming these are very good. I like the placements of controls, buttons responsive with good feel, the volume dial has a good glide. There is no haptic feedback. The only fault, and no deduction for it because I'm old, is no manual or booklet with operation for them, just pictograms on thr box lid and a qr code. I've worked logitech before, so no major mystery for me, but nice for a new person. I find no other issues and must give these a full 5 stars

Great evolution of the G733
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This evolution of the G733 came at the perfect exact time. I had to order a new elastic headband because the original one worn thin. I have had a few others that I tried and I've often come back to the Lightspeed series because of the simplicity. However I've tried other headsets and my only one true gripe I gave with the G522's is that the microphone does not tilt or swivel up or away. In other headphones, lifting the mix muted them, but for these you have to push a button. The unboxing is pretty minimal. The Lightspeed dongle is noticeable shorter than the previous version. You also get a charging cord and instructions. I have to say connecting with my PC was super simple with and without installing the software. I would suggest to download the software because you can get specific on settings like things like the light pattern. And that's just the tip. You can also adjust the EQ but the presettings work pretty well. The first thing you should do when connecting the headphones is to perform the firmware update. Then you are golden. The mic is pretty clear as others had mentioned compared to the G722. On my usage, plugging it in a USB c port does not work as well. It kept repeating that the USB is connected and doesn't stop. Not sure what's going on there. Wireless it's flawless. Corded it didn't play well with me. Would I still recommend this? A resounding yes!

Major Audio Cut-Out Issue – Very Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Logitech G522 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset for $159.99 and had high expectations, but it has a serious flaw: in LIGHTSPEED mode, the audio cuts out after about 7 seconds of silence or low volume. This makes using Discord, streaming, or playing games with quiet moments extremely frustrating. Logitech released firmware updates claiming to fix the issue, but even on the latest version (1.3.1918) the problem still persists. The only temporary workaround is enabling “Listen to this device” for the headset mic in Windows sound settings or keeping the sound settings window open so the mic stays active. These are not acceptable solutions for a headset in this price range. For $159.99, you shouldn’t need hacks and constant troubleshooting just to stop your audio from cutting out. Until Logitech fully resolves this, I cannot recommend this product.
