Very poor product for the money

I bought this and returned it within a few days. I installed the GHub software so I can have more custom control over these speakers. I went ahead and played Resident Evil 2 and noticed that the voices of the characters couldn't be heard. After uninstalling the software, the game sounded like usual, and I could hear the characters. The issue is that the software is important so I could have more control on the lights and have more custom control in general. Without the software, while playing Resident Evil 2, the lights were blinking so aggressively when I was playing the game, and it gave me a headache. These speakers also have very limited bass sometimes, and it feels like it doesn't properly work with some of my music. The volume also appears to be quite bad - it is too quiet at lower volumes and too loud at higher volumes. The speakers themselves also feel a bit too cheap for this price point - just cheap plastic - and I could also personally hear a constant low sound from them due to the lighting feature. The lighting isn't even that impressive. At 100% brightness, it isn't that amazing. Overall, it is a horrible product for $180 or $200. Given the problems I had, and given how Logitech just doesn't care about how the speakers function with GHub, you are really wasting a lot of money for something that the manufacturer doesn't care about. It is possible to not care about the things I wrote about here and still enjoy this product, but you are undoubtedly getting ripped off badly if you but these speakers at current prices.

    Speakers do not last

These speakers worked great for about 3 months. Then I had constant issues with lighting only working in one speaker and sometimes sound cutting out all together until the device was unplugged from power and plugged back in. The lights will randomly start flickering or the light settings won't stay as configured. Now the subwoofer won't work at all and the surround sound center channels don't work either and it hasn't been a year.

Hello Zerf, it sounds like you have a faulty set of speakers. Luckily, the G560 speaker set comes with a 1-year limited hardware warranty. I'll post a link at the end of this message for you to check out. You'll be able to submit a claim ticket and a support specialist will reach out to you to get this issue resolved. Do NOT Buy Logitech Until They Fix GHub

GHub is the software responsible for all the cool lighting and sound features of the G560. Do NOT buy any Logitech gaming device until the company actually fixes this software. With the update just days ago, the rgb lighting is completely messed up and unresponsive to user input. Also, other peripherals are constantly resetting, in need of re-pairing, and loss of profiles. I have G915 rgb keyboard and Pro X wired headset. I LOVE the hardware of both, but GHub is an unmitigated disaster that will ruin your product. Check out other internet user sites to see that this is a massive, widespread, worsening problem. Also, due to this software debacle, I’d give the product zero stars but Best Buy won’t allow an honest review.

I bought this to replace my Logitech Z625 speakers, Unfortunately I’m going to be returning them and ordering the old speakers because the subwoofer was garbage and might as well not even be attached. The speakers themselves were good and the lighting was cool but I just couldn’t get past the lack of bass. I wouldn’t even buy these for the gaming/lighting integration, spend less and get something better by Logitech.

DO NOT BUY! My speakers have never worked properly. Every time I use them I have to unplug and replug them in. Now they only play at 25% volume. Logitech has THE WORST customer service as well. It is impossible to navigate, their "instructions" to trouble shoot could not be more useless and they will not stand behind their products. There are far superior computer speakers available. Don't fall for the light gimmick like I did. You can't even turn the lights off unless the compter is on so if you forget to turn them off every time before you turn your computer off you have to reboot it.

Hello Dylan. Thank you for taking the time to write your review of the G560 speakers. I'm sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the speakers and your CS experience. Do you have the latest firmware installed for the speakers? The current firmware is 122.2.22 - you can download it here if you are still on old firmware: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023425453
Also, there are buttons on the top and back of the right satellite speaker. You can turn the volume up and down, turn the speakers off, and also cycle between brightness of the lights (including turning them off).
Hopefully this will help you enjoy your speakers... I have the G560 at my desk and I love them!

    Incompatible Firmware and Hours Configuring

There are two major flaws with these speakers: 1. The firmware forces them to be recognized as 7.1 Surround speakers on Windows. This leads to an expected center audio (that isn't there since we only have right and left speakers here) which causes a deadzone for audio in center of the screen. 2. There is no bass below 50% volume, and the max volume is way too high. I mean at 5% volume these speakers are already too loud. There are a number of fixes to make these usable if you search online, but for the cost this was a waste of time and money. Having to adjust firmware, drivers, and set up an audio equalizer to fix issues out of the box is far from worth the price. All these fixes for barely an audio improvement to my monitor's default speakers. I would return if possible.

This looks like an issue. We'd recommend try updating the device's firmware through Logitech G Hub or make sure that the drivers are up to date. Also, try streaming music through Bluetooth or 3.5mm connection to see how it goes. If it's still not resolved, please contact the Logitech team and they'll help you with it.

It would be nice if I didn't have to open the software everytime I log on to my pc to set the lights up to backlight the screen. I also don't like that the lights flash constantly when you shut down the computer. I would like to see them shut off too. I'd like to see more audio settings too.

DO NOT BE FOOLED! These are not good speakers. I am running Windows 10 and these are full of issues. The main selling points of RBG lighting for gaming profiles is false. They only work for Logitech games. The color profiles never stay on while playing. I have to continuously plug and unplug my speakers to get them to synch and the sound quality is not as great as advertised. These should be priced at $75, not $200. Don't waste your time and get something else.

Hello, ComfyGamer, we are sorry to hear about your issues with RGB lighting on the G560. The lighting/screen sampling profiles work with hundreds of games. If you are having issues with lighting, we recommend making sure that you have the latest G Hub software installed on your system. Profiles can be adjusted on a per game basis, through G Hub. You may also adjust screen sampling or set custom colors on your own. If you need any assistance, please visit us fir support at: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us

This is hands down the worst set of Logitech speakers I have ever bought. I have a pair that is 15 years old that sound better than these. They were incredibly tiny, no bass. No matter what setting or how much I equalized them could I get them to sound normal when playing music. They were just not good. I returned them and replaced them with a Samsung soundbar that sounds 10x's better.
