    Poor for gaming use

I bought this because I dropped my Logitech G700 series gaming mouse and it broke. They didn't have parts for it so I bought this so-called gaming mouse and it just doesn't cut it. It skips, drops programming, is slow to respond. I gave it to my wife who uses if for word processing and doesn't care about programming or fast response. I'm using a simple el cheapo mouse for the moment but it outperforms this "gaming" mouse in every way except programming because it doesn't have programming. Save your money. Buy a different mouse.

The mouse was much on bigger side. Not comfortable for daily use. Response or mouse refresh rate really slow. Returned the product within couple of days.

At first I really liked the product, but shortly after purchase it developed a squeek when scrolling up on the mouse wheel. I contacted Razer customer service who said they would replace it after I sent it to them and they processed it in their warehouse. I stated that without a mouse I would not be able to use my computer, and they stated that was their policy. So I can say it worked well but was noisy. If you decide to purchase get the Best Buy protection plan so you can deal with the store and not Razer customer service.

This mouse was okay, but slow to respond to movement. I have already replaced it with a different brand/model. If you are doing 1st person games, try something else.

Didnt really look over the signal strength. Great on button options and customization. Awful on distance plus objects destroy the signal. Better stay close to your computer.

There needs to be a way to change the lift off distance. It is always tracking when not meaning to. Very comfortable grip though.

Logitech G602 mouse review This is a very nice mouse. Here is what I think Logitech got right; -Unpacking is uneventful and easy, without the usual welded hard plastic shell cutting challenge. You can put the Band-Aid away. -The USB receiver is placed next to the mouse in the packaging, so no panic sets in that it's missing. There is also a storage place for it inside the battery compartment for travel. -Nice hi-tech design, but functional and ergonomically correct. -The center wheel works OK, but not as good as on some other Logitech products. The middle-click feels positive and respond well to click and drag operations on the G602, but I think the M705 (and some others) have a lot better wheel design, but on those the middle-click and drag is worthless. If you use them with GoogleEarth or SolidWorks a lot, you'd know what I'm talking about. -Feels solid and comfortable with well positioned buttons. The grip surface has a slight "sandy" feel to it for a positive non-slip grip. -It has huge sliding pads on the bottom. They don't look like they would come off anytime soon. This is actually an issue on other rodents. -The buttons feel positive with a slight mechanical click, making click and drag operations a snap. Some mouse with mushy buttons have a real problem with that. -Works on off-the-shelf AA batteries, either just one, or to double the battery life, two. -It's cordless! That's that, it has so many advantages over corded ones, that alone would be a long list. The response and accuracy is outstanding. The working wireless range to the receiver is ridiculously large, I've tried it from well over 10 feet without any lag or issues. About the software; -The software is downloaded and installed from the Internet from Logitech's website. This is not necessarily bad, since the latest version is ensured that way and a CD is not wasted. -Programming the mouse buttons is easy with a nice visual experience. I've programmed mine with cut and paste operations, the silver ones on top, and comes in very handy. -This is important; the custom settings are stored in the mouse memory, so the mouse can be used on any computer without having to install Logitech's software on other computers. Also, once the custom programming is done, the Logitech process can be ended in Task manager to free up computer memory clutter and does not have to be loaded at startup. Suggestions for improvements and cons; -Does not have sideway scrolling in the wheel. This was not a deal breaker for me, but people should know about it. -Round off the front needle-like shapes on the left and right buttons, they look like you could stab somebody with them. They may break off too if the rodent is dropped just right. -Does not end wars, cure sickness and feed the hungry (come to think of it, used right it just might one day), but for a mouse it's very nice. :)

Middle mouse button is broken by the time I was asked to write this review. Out of time to return to best buy. Logitech has dismissed my warranty claims telling me to turn it off and on again. Apparently this fixes broken microswitches.

It's a good mouse until it inevitably fails. Mine started experiencing issues after 4 months. It's a known issue with the mouse not responding to button clicks. And upon doing a warranty replacement they wanted me to jump through way too many hoops... So I purchased a different mouse by a different company.

Surprisingly awesome as an office mouse

I originally bought this to replace an older gaming mouse which was starting to have issues. I liked it a lot and since it was wireless I found it easy to bring with me to work as well. Turns out I love it even more as an office mouse! The 6 programmable buttons, combined with a keyboard shortcut customization tool like BetterTouchTool (on Macs), open up a lot of time-saving possibilities! For example, I've set a button to maximize a window to the other screen - no more dragging windows from one screen to another!
