Customers are saying
Customers recognize the G603 Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse's excellent battery life and Bluetooth connectivity as significant advantages. Many appreciate its comfortable design and customizable features, including programmable buttons and adjustable DPI. However, some users experienced issues with the scroll wheel's responsiveness and found the design not perfectly ergonomic for all hand sizes. While lag was rarely reported, it's a factor to consider.

Game with Confidence!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bottom Line: The Logitech G603 is an excellent mouse that may just convince some gamers to go wireless. Pros: solid sensor, low latency, good battery life, lightweight, onboard memory for programming, customizable weight distribution Cons: Ergonomics slightly off (at least for my hand), design is pretty basic Review: Due to having our first child, I took a three year break from PC gaming. Prior to the break, I always used a wired mouse for better precision and latency. However, technology changes quite a bit in a few years, so I picked up the Logitech G603 and was pleasantly surprised. To solve the latency issue, Logitech has created its own wireless protocol, LIGHTSPEED, which works by attaching the included USB-A dongle to your computer. There’s a switch on the bottom of the mouse that lets you change from 8ms to 1ms latency at the cost of battery life. In my gaming experiences so far, the mouse performs just as well as the wired one I used to own. The sensor has solid DPI range (200 to 12,000) that can be configured for quick changes in the downloadable software. In use, I haven’t had any problems with the over/undershoots that are common with wireless mice in gaming. It’s surprisingly light for a wireless mouse, and one of the nifty features is that you can adjust the weight distribution by placing both batteries or one on either side inside the mouse. I personally like both batteries in, although the weight tends to tilt more toward the front of the mouse than the wired mouse I was used to. Ergonomically, the mouse is comfortable to hold, although the slope is just a bit too steep for my hand. As a result, there’s a slight gap between the mouse and the front of my palm that didn’t exist with my wired gaming mouse, which was slightly larger. The design and 6-button layout are standard and pretty basic, but it should be instantly familiar and suitable for most gamers’ needs.

Excellent wireless mouse that checks all the boxes
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech has been one of my go-to brands when it comes to computing accessories and they've always seemed to offer a variety of different mice to cater to different needs. Personally, I had switched back to wired mice almost 100% due to inconsistent performance and sometimes unpredictable battery life or connectivity issues with wireless mice in general (regardless of brand). So, I had high expectations when it came to using what Logitech refers to as a gaming mouse with "Lightspeed" wireless technology. First off, from a build quality perspective the G603 has the typically Logitech build quality, which is good. Like some of their other wireless mice, it can run on either one or two batteries, which gives you some options to adjusting the overall weight, without resorting to actual weights. As a gaming mouse, you would expect certain features such as adjustable DPI and multiple programmable buttons. The G603 checks the boxes on both, without going overboard as it has 6 programmable buttons. There is also a combination switch on the bottom that toggles between OFF, LO and HI speed USB reporting rates, which requires use of the included USB Lightspeed dongle. If you connect using Bluetooth, you're basically always in LO. Going back to the buttons, the 6 buttons are the typical left and right buttons, the mouse wheel as a button, a button below the wheel, plus two buttons on the left side commonly used for Back and Forward. As is the usual case, you'll need to install the Logitech Gaming Software for maximum customization options. LGS sometimes also includes firmware updates although I did not run into one with the version I installed (8.96.88) As for DPI, you can customize between the range of 200-12000 dpi. Even for non-gaming use, this can be very valuable when having to deal with multiple mousing surfaces when on the go. The only connectivity issues I had with the G603 seemed to be Bluetooth-driver specific, so probably no fault of the mouse itself. As a wireless mouse, it performed as well for me as a wired mouse and battery life has been a non-issue, which is refreshing. Recommended!
