Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the long battery life, Bluetooth connectivity, and abundance of programmable buttons on the G604 mouse. Many appreciate its comfortable design and the smooth, precise scrolling offered by the unique scroll wheel. However, some find the mouse too heavy or large, and others have reported issues with the software or occasional double-clicking. The price point is generally considered favorable.

Great mouse for gaming AND day to day use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have really been liking this mouse. It has a muted design in black, which may turn some off, but that is my style. No RGB here. It fits well in my hand, is comfortable, a nice weight, slides well, and has lots of customizable buttons. In use, it is precise and responsive (I have seen no lag). I love the option to use either Logitech’s Lightspeed tech or simple bluetooth for connection since I am using this for daily use, not just gaming. Time will have to tell here, but if I hit those rated battery lives (240 hours Lightspeed / 5.5 MONTHS bluetooth) on a single AA battery? A removable battery? That sounds crazy. Make no mistake, this is designed as a gaming mouse, and it absolutely kills that use case. As I said earlier, it is fast, accurate, and has a load of responsive and customizable buttons, but there is also DPI control and the Logitech clicky/smooth scroll wheel which many probably are familiar with. I am no pro gamer, by any means, but it has been great for me so far. ALLLLL of that said, I also love this mouse as my everyday mouse. For many of the same reasons. Styling, feel, comfort and the buttons. With the G Hub software, which is quite clean and gives a good UX, you can map the buttons outside of games as well. Get it set-up right and it can really help your productivity. I suppose Logitech isn’t touting this aspect of the mouse, but for those that want the best of both worlds, it does give you that. Ultimately, as I said, I really like this mouse. It is extremely versatile, being great for both gaming and daily use. It is comfortable, offers excellent performance, promises excellent battery life and does all of that without being tethered to a wire. I couldn’t really ask for more.

Seems Ok
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am switching from the G602 to this G604. I do not see it as an improvement. A slight step back, but not a major step back. The build quality seems less than the G602 and it is lighter. The main difference is the scroll wheel. The 601 has a grippy scroll wheel and this one hard plastic with ridges. I find my finger slipping on the 604 wheel. The 602 did not have the option for a free wheeling scroll as this one does but the "notched" scroll is MUCH stiffer. The button layout is nearly the same except for the buttons behind the scroll wheel. There is new software for this mouse as well. The 602 used the "Gaming Software" and this one uses "G-Hub" I do not see the new software as an improvement. It is slightly more complicated to program the buttons. And setting up software profiles can be a pain. (As of this writing I still do not know how to delete profiles that are created in the installation step. I ended up uninstalling to clear all the unnecessary profiles. Also you will have to create a MACRO to do simple keyboard combinations. (alt+m or ctl+Shift+Y... you can forget the easy way they had in the old software) While I can see the software is much more powerful they should have left the options for simple keyboard combos. I am still on the first (only one battery as opposed to the 2 in the 602) battery even though it is only using one battery. This mouse does come with an extension cord to bring the dongle up to the desktop. Definitely DO THAT! it makes all the difference and will help save your battery life.

Not the G602
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The G602 has been my favorite mouse, mainly due to the shape and grip of the mouse. As the availability of the mouse is growing scarce I picked up the G604 as the natural successor. First thing I noticed is the mouse is noticeably lighter and smaller. Furthermore the grip is close but due to the mouse being smaller my pinky and ring finger now drag across the mat, which did not happen on the G602. The grip is now awful but not as comfortable as the G602, at least for me. Another downside for me is the scroll wheel. I’m not a fan of free flowing scroll wheels and this one has it. Not to mention the wheel itself is heavier then the wheel of the G602. There are some pros the G604. One huge plus for me is the ability to connect to Bluetooth in Addition to the included dongle. Which is a life savor when you forget to bring the dongle with you. This mouse will work for now, but I’ll keep looking for a more comfortable replacement for the G602.

Good
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great if you don't need that many buttons. This is an upgraded version of the G602, mouse wheel comes very loose but there's a way to tighten it (google it). It is surprisngly fast and it doesn't drain batteries as fast as the razer wireless gaming mouses. Still waiting for logitech to make an upgraded g600 though due to the button and ergonomics.

Great Mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this mouse, i had it for a while but then got the swiftpoint z, if you dont know what that is definitely check it out... but there were TOO many buttons for my limp hand to handle, so I came back to this and I forgot how amazing it was- the weight, the grip, the perfect curve for my palm, and the wireless is just as fast as a cord, or at least I cant tell the difference....

Great Upgrade from the G602
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I been using the Logitech G602 for years. I decided to upgrade to the new model, and it's been great. It feels just like the G602 but includes new features like a Bluetooth, hyper scroll option, and the new lightspeed sensor. Plus, it has a nice modern refresh. The only negative is that it would of nice if the G icon was a LED and was adjustable in the G Hub software. No big deal though.
