Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the long battery life, Bluetooth connectivity, and abundance of programmable buttons on the G604 mouse. Many appreciate its comfortable design and the smooth, precise scrolling offered by the unique scroll wheel. However, some find the mouse too heavy or large, and others have reported issues with the software or occasional double-clicking. The price point is generally considered favorable.

I feel like Logitech read my mind. They took last year's model and added most of the features I wanted. My favorite feature is the DPI control. Instead of cycling through presets that had to be programmed into the G Hub software, there are now small +/- buttons to adjust the DPI on the fly. It is exactly what I want when moving from an ultrasensitive game to my three-screen wide desktop. The scroll wheel can either move in a ratchet mode or freely. It takes some practice getting used to it but it makes scrolling faster when looking at a long page. All of the buttons are programmable and the G Hub software switches modes based on the application being used. From standard Windows commands to anything specific in each game or individual keyboard keys can be programmed into the buttons. They even have a search feature in the software to instantly find the commands. Then with a simple drag and drop function, the button is programmed. While I cannot confirm battery life at this point, the mouse has the ability to connect via the included Light Speed receiver or Bluetooth. In order to have the maximum response time and DPI, the mouse must use the Lightspeed receiver. But to conserve battery life, a simple button press switches the transmitter from Light Speed to Bluetooth (if your computer can handle Bluetooth). By doing so, this can extend the battery life from 240 hours of intense gaming to more than 6 months of general computer use. The feel of the mouse is really comfortable. I especially like the thumb rest which my older model did not have. It will take me some time to get used to having six programmable buttons by my thumb but they are easy to feel and know which one I am pressing. I have some big hands so it is a little tricky pressing the buttons closest to me. That too will improve with practice. Overall, I am really happy. The responsiveness, especially with the easily adjustable DPI, is excellent. Logitech took a good mouse and made it even better.

Love this mouse. Very quick and won’t go back to wired... the ONLY problem I have is when I’m playing a game I tend to drift my pointer finger and hit the DPI button and it ruins the gun fight I’m having.. happens in league of legends as well. I’ve owned probably 8 mouses and haven’t had that problem before.. Still love the mouse though! Wish there was a way to disable the DPI change in certain games.

Decent quality for the price. I wouldn’t spend $100 on it but for the $50 I spent I feel it was worth it.

This is going to be one of the best mice you can by from Logitech. The amount of programable buttons allow you to set it up for whatever game you are playing. It will take some time to get use to but in the long run it is worth it. there is a holding spot for the dongle so do not forget to use it. Also you have to buy batters for it.

I do not understand why companies never simply improve something. They always have to take something away, then add something else. I purchased this after my G602 started to do the infamous logitech "double click when single clicking." It's accurate and mostly comfortable, yeah. But why take away the indicator for which dpi setting your mouse is on? Why is something that is objectively convenient for the customer removed in the next product? Also, why is the mouse wheel absolutely horrendous? You either lock it, resulting in it being loud and clunky, or you let it roll freely on a bearing which can result in imprecise usage for gaming and accidental scrolling when moving the mouse too quickly. And, the button to lock and unlock the scroll wheel is quite large and pointed sitting in the middle of the mouse between where your fingers rest. Easily the worst mouse wheel I've ever had. If it wasn't half off, I would've simply paid the exorbitant price for a G602 replacement instead.

Hello McDaniel! I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the G604 mouse! Thank you so much for the feedback on the DPI indicator and design of the scroll wheel. I will definitely be passing this along as something we can improve on. Thank you for the review and for shopping Logitech G! - Maggie from Logitech G

I purchased this almost 18 months ago and I still love how the mouse functions & helps me with ease of daily functions on excel, PowerPoints, word or browsing internet. The product is very ergonomic and you can work for longer hours without fatigue. I definitely recommend this product and the Logitech mouse especially MX series, is the best on the market.

Was a great mouse, upgraded from G602 and loved the wireless and bluetooth feature, but now has been double clicking. Happens intermittently, but apparent when I'm trying to play games. I mapped one of the buttons to left click to substitute for the double click issue, but this annoying. My old G602 lasted me 2 years before double clicking and this only lasted 6 months. It's more than double the price of the G602, paid $85 total for it on sale and should have done more research. These logitech mice feel great, I want to love it, but apparently double clicking has been an issue for their mice. It is not worth the money, you expect a quality product.

Hi Okitstime, The G604 is my favorite form! Be sure to check the settings on GHUB. This should not be happening, as it is backed with a 2-year limited hardware warranty. For support, please refer to: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036534033 - Will, Logitech G.
