    So far the experience is great. I was concerned before buying it based on same bad reviews about ghub software. But it was easy to understand setting up macros for hot keys. I am not a gamer but I needed a mouse with extra buttons as hot keys for my trading and the experience was great to move from using hot keys on keyboard to using hot keys directly from the mouse.

    Using it as a gaming mouse; "upgrade from g305 because that this was was too small (my hands are on the larger side). The mouse started off feeling very ergonomic. I felt an improvement with my aim in terms of control/smoothness right away (versus a slight raggedness with the 305). The main complaint however is that the space between the thumb rest and the side buttons is just ever too small for my thumb. Over about a month of ownership I have found that this really makes holding the mouse feel awkward for me personally, even thought it seemed like only a slight issue at first. I think its because of the fact that I'm constantly shifting my thumb around because, it is also pressing the side buttons while I game - so it feels like there is no real resting place for it while I'm in the moment... if that makes sense. Probably a personal issue, hence the three stars. My aim is still improved anyways; going to try the g502 wireless to see if that makes a difference. I've also had issues with double clicking on the side and main buttons. I'm kind of heavy handed, but never had this issue with the 305.
