Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the long battery life, Bluetooth connectivity, and abundance of programmable buttons on the G604 mouse. Many appreciate its comfortable design and the smooth, precise scrolling offered by the unique scroll wheel. However, some find the mouse too heavy or large, and others have reported issues with the software or occasional double-clicking. The price point is generally considered favorable.

Got this for PACS software usage (radiology). Hyper scrolling is a huge improvement over the g602. It also has a couple of more buttons. Battery life and weight feel about the same as the g602. Upgraded dpi is a game changer if you prefer to scroll through PACS with left click instead of the scroll wheel. It is not nearly as light as the g903, however the scroll wheel left and right buttons are not accidentally clicked nearly as easily as on the g903 when using the middle click button (eg windowing). The battery life is significantly better than the g903 which only lasts a few days. The Bluetooth feature has a bit of a lag but only really noticeable with gaming. I still prefer the hyper speed connection. This mouse requires the new G HUB software which is bloated, complicated, and may not be approved to be installed on corporate computers. My employer does not allow it. Unfortunately this mouse is not backwards compatible with the G gaming software or normal Logitech mouse software. You need the G HUB to configure it.

Absolute awesome mouse. It does takes batteries, if that’s something that concerns you, but they last a good bit. The only other thing to note is the weight. This mouse is great. But people all have their own preferences.

In my opinion the best all around mouse for people that play different types of games and for general use. It has enough buttons to be useful in MMORPGs and has responsiveness for FPS. The ability to connect via Bluetooth or Lightspeed dongle is great. I use it in Bluetooth most of the time and battery life is several months long for someone that's on the PC at least 8 hours most days day for the last year (Covid). The Lightspeed connection supposedly uses more juice, but I've never found a great need to switch to that. If you are a hard core FPS person I suppose it would make a difference but if you are at that level, I don't know if you even want a wireless mouse. I also like the wheel ability to be free, fast scrolling or click scrolling. Its an easy click of the button just beneath the wheel to switch between the modes and I find I use both modes very frequently even within the same app. Think scrolling quickly down a long web page or Excel file, the switch to click mode when you are in the area you want more control over.

Was able to get this mouse on sale for $40. Its a great mouse, love the extra side buttons when I need them and love that I can switch between bluetooth and using the wireless dongle on the fly as I use 2 different machines at work so I can switch between the 2 when need be.

The G604 Wireless is a very capable mouse for gaming and desktop use. The ergonomics are excellent and quality of materials is solid. The wireless works with not issues, but I could not pair with the Bluetooth signal. There are more than enough buttons for my use but I do has several issues. The metal scroll wheel feels slick and the button feels clunky and litle loose. The averall coating is too thin compared to other mice like Razer, making it feel a little slick and not grippy. The optical lazer works great and the sofware functions without any issue. This gaming mouse is for palm grip for most hands but the 2 front side buttons are too far for short fingers. For gaming, I did not notice any lag vs a wired mouse. I sprayedd platidip on the body and wheel for added grip, but the clunkyness of the wheel is still annoying! For under $50, it is still the best choice, however. It's a better gaming mouse than the G602. The infinity scroll on the G604 may be a deal breaker for many who like it.

This mouse is a great deal. I don't normally buy gaming mice, even though I do game with them. I needed to replace my Performance MX (which replaced my MX Revolution...bring back the horizontal wheel? Please?) because the laser wouldn't track anymore. I'm one of those gamers that doesn't like lights, or LEDs or anything like that, and I wanted a thumb rest. These restrictions disqualified a lot of mice. Then I found this...sure, it isn't rechargeable, but the AA is supposed to last a really long time...and it's a AA. It isn't like I don't have 100 just laying around. It is comfy, there are more than enough buttons to do whatever I need it to. And much like most other Logitech products, it just works. Plug it in and go. My only complaint, and it is something I just have to deal with, it is too small and light for my hands. But that's a me problem, not the mouse's problem.

Just as good as the G502 Lightspeed

This G604 may be marketed as a MMO type of mouse, but ignoring the 6 side buttons this is essentially a G502 (minus the optional weights and sniper button), however unlike the G502 Lightspeed this G604 actually goes on sale occasionally ($45 when I bought it) making it absolutely worth the price. I use this mouse for both gaming and productivity, so having the 6 programmable buttons is nice for any macro heavy workflows, and I love that infinite scroll wheel. It's definitely not in the spectrum of lightweight gaming mice, but it's also not overly heavy or tiring to use, and feels to be of good build quality. Connectivity is pretty much instant and stable over both Bluetooth and 2.4gHz receiver, I didn't notice much difference in latency switching between the two modes either. IMO if you're looking at the G502 Lightspeed you could totally save a few bucks by grabbing this G604 when it's on sale instead.

Before I purchased this mouse, I had been using the Logitech G602 for about 3 years. I loved the mouse and the buttons on the side allowed me to play a lot of games with more ease. When I saw the G604, I was a little weary about switching over, but after taking the plunge I have no regrets. The mouse is very well built and looks super sleek. The shape is slightly different than the G602, but it still fits my hand very nicely. It is a little slippery at first, but after a week of decent use, I had no issues. It has great battery life, and the side buttons are 10x as tactile as the G602’s side buttons. My only gripe is the software. It’s a little difficult to navigate if you’ve never used it. Also the profile switching messes up a lot of me. But overall, the mouse is great and o would definitely recommend if you have or like the G602.

I'm a gamer and doing business all day using computers. Therefore, computers, and especially the mouse is quite important to me. My 2 cents for the mouse for gaming or work is (1) lightness, (2) ergonomic, long battery life, and fast scroll wheel. This G604 met all of my recommendations, except for the lightness, but it is slightly heavier than Razer Basilisk or G900. So far, my 1st choice was Logitech G900 (not that ergonomic due to the ambidextrous design, though), but after a few years of use, the rechargeable battery shows age nowadays. Therefore, if you work 10 or more hours using a mouse or playing games, then I strongly recommend G604, and you won't regret!

excellent gaming mouse for all games. I still feel it's little heavy for FPS games but it still works very well. 6 side bottoms are very useful for RPG/FPS games. I like it more than G502. G502 is for FPS but G604 is for all.

I use this mouse every day while working, and love it! The battery life is amazing, as I've had it now for 4 months, using it every weekday for 8+ hours, and I still haven't changed the single AA battery once! It is very responsive, and the extra buttons on the side are very handy if remapped to commonly used functions. I love the smooth scroll wheel, and often find myself playing around with it absent-mindedly. One downside is that the bluetooth has a tendency to disconnect, in my experience, but there is a wireless dongle included, so I didn't dock it for this. It may also be that my laptop has poor bluetooth connectivity. Overall, this is a great product, and if you get a carrying case (easily found online for a few bucks), it'll be safe and sound in any laptop bag.

I bought this when it was on sale for $44 dollars and for that value, it's absolutely worth every penny. At its normal $100 price tag, however, it is hard to justify over its predecessor the G602 which I purchased for about $27 years ago. The mouse fits comfortably in my hands as they are on the smaller side. The infinity scroll wheel is a nice novelty but I haven't found a use for it but some people may like the smoother action. I haven't had any issues with the connection dropping. The number of programmable buttons is perfect for me and while the GHub software has its odd quirks, it is entirely usable and makes programming the buttons mostly painless. Overall a great mouse for gaming and general use.

I love this mouse, I've bought it twice now. My first one died (nothing to do with the mouse itself the cat actually got it) Before that I had the wired version of this mouse. I was actually very skeptical about switching to a wireless mouse do to thinking that it was just one more thing I had to keep track of and have batteries laying around for. It takes a single double A and it lasts a long time. The software lets you bind the buttons to whatever you need. It has enough buttons for gaming without going over the top. It's very ergonomic and you can definitely feel which button your finger or thumb is on. I love it

I got this on sale for about $38. It's well worth my money. I'm a casual gamer and mainly play first-person games. I've used a G502 for the last 5 years and this took a few weeks to adjust. I consider my hands big and I use a palm grip, and my thumb would overlap some of the thumb buttons. Mouse feels great, I just wish there was a port to hardwire it to the PC when the software doesn't find my device. The Logitech G Hub software is awful. Issues I've encountered: my mouse often doesn't get recognized upon startup, bindings don't save, macros don't work correctly, and DPI shifts occur even when it's disabled. It's a pain to deal with.

I love how versatile the mouse it for general productivity despite it being marketed as a gaming mouse. With 8 customizable buttons i find i'm using it for video editing and certain tasks i do often like; split and delete, play forward and backwards, undo and redo are mapped to separate buttons. The logitech program is very easy to use as well to customize with custom macros for functions that do not have a built in feature. Each application can have its own custom mouse configuration and it auto switches when the program is open. Only con i can think of is rather heavy but not unwieldy and the scroll feel is not smooth enough though you can switch to smooth scroll with a push of a switch.

I'm not much of a PC gamer, but I do love extra features and buttons... and the sale price for this was too good to pass up. There was a little bit of a learning curve for this mouse because there is a ton of customization available and I wasn't sure what all the buttons were for. The mouse works right out of the box once you add batteries and plug in the USB receiver, but there's an Windows program to download if you want to take full advantage of everything. One of the coolest features I have to mention is that there's a button that will allow you to switch between your computer and another device with bluetooth. I wish I had bought more than one.

It has been 2 weeks since I bought this, and I love everything about it so far. Just to put things in perspective, the last mouse I was using was Logitech's MX Master 2S, and while I did like it, there was still some things I wished it did differently. For instance: 1. I wished the scroll wheel didn't have these rubber grips. Sure, it gives you a better grip on the wheel, but it's also a magnet for dust and bacteria. Not only that, after just 2 years of usage, the rubber grips have started to show signs of wear and tear. 2. It uses a non-removable rechargeable battery. This is somewhat of a nit-pick, but batteries of any type don't last forever. So, to make it non-removable just sucks in my opinion. 3. It's rechargeable, but only through a micro usb port. I'm pretty sure usb-c cables existed when the MX Master 2S was released, so for them to release a 100-dollar mouse with outdated usb tech is just annoying. 4. They used cheap abs plastic as far as I can tell. I consider myself to be a somewhat clean person, but the plastic on it got shiny in like a year or so. Thankfully, the G604 appears to fix all of these issues. The scroll wheel is just one metal piece with little grooves for better grip. It uses a removable AA battery design, which is great because you can now use your own rechargeable batteries. As for the quality of the plastics used, all I can say is that my brother has used one for 2 years and it has barely any signs of shining. Lastly, I really like the 6 side buttons and how you can pretty much customize them to do whatever you want with them.
