Customers enjoy the long battery life, Bluetooth connectivity, and abundance of programmable buttons on the G604 mouse. Many appreciate its comfortable design and the smooth, precise scrolling offered by the unique scroll wheel. Posted .Hi, sorry to see you were having some shipping related issues with receiving your G604 Gaming mouse. Due to increased orders from the holidays and with the pandemic, shipping times will be longer than expected in most cases. However, glad to see you got it and can use it for all your computing needs!

G604 is good but not an upgrade from g602
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's not bad a mouse. Does what it suppose to do, but if you have the prior model g602 it will like a bit of a downgrade in material quality. I'd probably love it if I honestly didnt feel so cheap in my hand, but like the g602 it is super useful for gaming set up. Regular price is like $90 something, black Friday got it for $44 at best buy. I prefer the g602 over the g604. The g602 has a less dpi setting ranging from 450 to 2500. Which feels picture perfect for my set up, while the g604 ranges from 300 to 25000 which is overkill but then doesnt feel like when you try it out. Idk I'm probably spoiled from my g602. But I will say I did like it double its ms response to 1000ms. The side buttons on the g604 feels alot better compared to g602, easier to press in my opinion. The scroller is clunky and annoying. Dpi switches are identical to the g602 but your dpi indicator is located under your palm oddly. Also it is a very light mouse. Which is sorta off putting. I was hoping to have some heft to it. But still not bad tho. Overall if you're just looking for a good gaming mouse the g604 is a good one, just feel cheap. If you can get a g602 instead.

Better for FPS than MOBA/MMO
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First things first: I found there to be no noticeable lag using the LIGHTSPEED 1ms wireless on this Logitech G604 mouse. That was a big question mark for me as I have previously avoided wireless mice for that reason. I am happy to report that it was pretty much seemless and certainly no more lag than a typical USB gaming mouse. Build quality seems excellent for a mouse at this price point. I especially loved the weighted scroll wheel, and the ability adjust the wheel from "clicky" to smooth rolling. The buttons did not feel cheep or plasticky but they were not quite as high quality as some ultra high end mice I've used in the past. Still for the price point I give them good marks. The main selling points for this mouse seem to be the 16k dps HERO sensor and the addition of 6 buttons on the side of the mouse for your thumb. The HERO sensor is excellent, and I immediately loved it cranked up to full 16k with sensitivity dropped way down in Overwatch. Being able to quickly increase or decrease the sensor DPI (using the two buttons next to your index finger) proved to be a boon for navigating menus (or going back to desktop) and then rapidly get back to full resolution in game.I did not have to tweak any other settings to get the feel to be what I wanted: it was smooth and linear out of the gate. No smoothing or acceleration to disable. A big improvement from my previous mouse. On the downside, I found that 6 thumb buttons just isn't enough for my primary MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic, which frankly has too many abilities to shrink down to a 6 button mouse. Perhaps in some other games that don't require use of 30-40 different abilities this won't be a limitation. I just can't help but think for a mouse positioned for MMO gamers this should have just had 12 buttons like competing MMO mice. On the plus side, ergonomically I found this to be excellent with the thumb rest. If you are moving up from a 'regular' mouse and have never used a 12 button MMO mouse, this will be a huge upgrade for you. I'm still trying to come up with a way to make this work for me in SWTOR. The weight and ergonomics are fantastic, as is the sensor and wireless connection.

Straight upgrade from the G602. Works on Linux
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used a G602 for years. The 6 side buttons work great for MMORPGs without being an 'accordion' mouse with over a dozen side buttons. The G602s were a good form factor but they broke easily (I went through 3 in five years!) and when I built my new gaming machine on Arch Linux I also found that they worked poorly with the mouse button remapping software I had available. When it came time to replace it, I tried a number of options but also decided to give the G604 a chance, planning to return it if it didn't work. I was happy to find that it works great out of the box and has some nice advantages over the G602 to boot. PROS: - Six side buttons, +/- resolution buttons, and the mouse wheel can be clicked left and right too. Lots of button flexibility availability - Slightly lighter weight than the G602 and uses only one battery - Logitech software works ok on Windows. `piper` works on Linux - Both blue tooth and USB wireless connectivity - Sturdy constructive, good ergonomics CONS: - Definitely pricey - No exciting RGB LED lighting or other gamer junk Basically if you need a wireless mouse with 6 side buttons, as I did for gaming, this is probably the top tier option. If you don't need quite so many buttons, though there's nothing this mouse has that a much cheaper solution won't provide.

Nice fancy mouse if you like the grip
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll front load this review by saying that I really liked this mouse for it's feature set but the form factor is making me go back to my Logitech Pro Wireless mouse. This is a personal preference and I don't think this opinion will apply to everyone so maybe head to your local store and see if they have one out that you can try for yourself. Setup is super simple. It's a mouse. You need to install the G-Hub software to be able to customize the mouse and update the firmware and such but otherwise it's just plug and play. The back of the mouse pops open to reveal the single AA battery and the tiny dongle you can plug into your computer for the "lightspeed" tech. Customize things to do exactly what you want! Buttons to control all the features are prominent on the mouse but all of the buttons on the mouse can be reconfigured to whatever you want. Things like DPI switching are really prominent. I've never been one to mess with my DPI settings after getting them to a spot where I like them so I would probably reconfigure this and just hop out to the software when I needed to do any adjustments. But if you like to switch DPI from inside a game, you'll probably love that feature. There are also 6 buttons on the side that, depending on how you hold your mouse, are pretty easy to hit them all. Just set them to whatever easy to use function you want and you're all set. Battery life is supposed to be really good. I didn't drain the AA battery in the time I had for this review. And the fact that it takes a single AA battery means that you can easily just swap it out when it dies and be back to full strength without looking for a charging cable to plug into. This could be a plus or a minus depending on your needs. I don't mind charging my mouse occasionally when it's low but I also don't hate changing a AA battery pretty infrequently. You also have the option to turn off the "lightspeed" mode and use the mouse as a bluetooth mouse which is supposed to make the battery last for an insane time as the expense of response times/bluetooth latency. Form is where this mouse loses me. I know this isn't the only mouse that's shaped like this so I know a lot of people are probably a big fan of these but I couldn't get it. My wrist hurt after prolonged use and I tried a lot of different positions and ways of holding it to try and get comfortable but it never came. I would strongly suggest if you aren't already comfortable with a similar style of mouse, that you give this a try in store somewhere before you buy. I think I'm just too used to the way I grip and use the Logitech Pro Wireless. I also thought this mouse was a little big heavy for me. One more thing I didn't LOVE about this mouse but could probably get used to was the scroll wheel. It's VERY clicky and was incredibly jarring to me. That said, I wish my Pro Wireless had the ability to "push" my scroll wheel sideways like this one. So it's not a huge deal but thought it was worth noting. It's definitely something that could probably be really useful in gaming when each click of the scroll wheel could be something you need extra precision for. I've just gotten used to my old, subtle click of the scroll wheel. Overall, I like the feature set for this mouse a lot. If they could add all those fancy buttons to the Pro Wireless design, I would be sold and in love. The mouse tracks really well. It's very customizable. The battery time is good and easily swappable. The extra buttons can change the way you play. Sadly, my hands just don't mesh with the design very well. Maybe I'll give it another shot and see if I can't force myself to get used to it.

Lives up to the Hype!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The speed is amazing. Love the locking scroll wheel. The gHub software makes setup super simple and I love the macro manager. I did notice that the default settings had a “back & forward” function on the buttons. When I changed those and tried to change it back to default it changed to “go forward” & “go back” when created a shift + arrow key macro which messed with one of my games. Had to uninstall and reinstall gHub to get it back to the original settings.

Good mouse once you update driver
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING WITH THIS MOUSE, install the "Logitech G Hub" software and immediately update the driver. When I first plugged this mouse in, I was absolutely horrified by how badly it worked. Moving the mouse across the full length of my mouse pad barely caused the cursor on my screen to move an inch. Upon downloading the software though, I was immediately prompted to install an update. The change was dramatic. The mouse is much more responsive now, and the software gives all sorts of options for remapping buttons and programming macros. The mouse itself is a little lighter and more "plasticky" than I was expecting, but the shape is very comfortable in the hand. I'm very pleased with this mouse and would recommend it to a friend.

Your Next Gaming Mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to start by saying I am a fan of Logitech Gaming mice. I currently own 3 other mice from logitech and they are all great. The Logitech - G604 Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse comes packed with features and is highly customizable. The G604 has a HERO 16k sensor for accurate tracking. A total of 15 programmable buttons. It also has 2 DPI buttons located on the side of the left click button that you can use to toggle on the fly when you need to during those intense gaming sessions. You also have 6 buttons on the side of the mouse that you can program your macros to. The G604 also has 1ms lag speed which is amazing. Another feature I really like is the dual mode scroll wheel. You can have the scroll wheel rotate freely or have it scroll in a ratcheting style. Overall a very feature packed gaming mouse with tons of customization.

Great mouse but you will be using the warranty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent mouse with a major flaw. Quality control for these Logitech mice is average at best-- expect double-clicking issues (the mouse registers a single click as a double click) on both the main buttons and side buttons. However, Logitech makes up for it with the general comfort of the device, incredible sensor, and great warranty.

Won't connect to Bluetooth after firmware update
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked great till firmware update, now this only connects via wireless USB dongle which I really dislike. I prefer a Bluetooth connection. Really surprised that a gaming mouse lack RGB lighting by any brand. At this time I can't recommend this mouse. Need a new firmware uodate

ok gaming mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the Logitech G604 Lightspeed gaming mouse. It's okay, not amazing. Tons of buttons, decent design, but the scroll wheel's not great. Tried to return it, but I missed the 30-day window. Contacted Logitech, no dice. Plus, it's way too big for my hands. Should've never bought it. Total bummer.

I'm very disappointed with this mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered mine off Best Buy eBay since getting one from them somewhat locally required a couple hour drive round trip and they would not ship. I had the G602 and loved everything about it. Unfortunately I had it setup where it was resting on the arm of a rocking chair. Every time I had to jump up for urgent reasons I would hear it bounce off the floor as I was rushing away and many times it was not a rush. That mouse must have taken 400+ drops at 3ft onto a hard floor before the onboard memory gave out on it. It still worked I just wanted that memory back and had been curious about the G604. Well right off it feels cheap it's not nearly as well built I doubt it would make it through 50. As for the function of it I'm not sure I can give a fair review. I don't know if this thing requires more pressure on the buttons or what but often too often I have to click several times where it would not have been needed on the G602. There's never more than a day or 2 goes buy I don't think about throwing this against the floor or wall so I can justify buying another G502. It's a far superior mouse but I'm stuck with this for now I've only had it since a day or two before or after Christmas I cannot recall which with any certainty. As far as the tracking the sensor was far better on the 602. There was a lot of forgiveness for uneven surfaces or even hovering above the surface for that matter. I had read about that after I got it and had to try it and you could lift it up and drive it in the air within an inch give or take. You will not be doing that with this in fact it needs to be pretty flat even the slightest tilt and you are not performing well. I would not recommend this to anyone. It's not up to the standards I have become accustomed to when purchasing Logitech items.
