I'm a forceful typist, having originally learned to type on a manual. I've used the celluloid keyboards for ages and usually have to buy a replacement every 1-2 years. Figured it was time to upgrade to a mechanical keyboard. I originally considered the G910 but then saw this G610 keyboard for like $50-$60 less. I'm a sys admin and don't really do gaming so I appreciated being able to save some cash and still get a good keyboard. I have been on it for about 20 minutes now and I love it. Took a little bit to get used to for the first 5 mins but now I just fly on it. The resistance is perfect. I love the positive response. I haven't tried the customizable light settings but the default lighting (fading across and cycling through) is a great touch that I find rather soothing and attractive. I can see how it might be a little distracting for some people though so the customization options are nice. Hopefully this keyboard can last a lot longer. I love it!

I got such a great deal on this keyboard from BestBuy. I did a ton of research before buying to see what type of switches I wanted, and I went with the Cherry MX. I was going to go for the more expensive Logitech keyboard, but I didn't like their proprietary switches. I tried this at the store and immediately fell in love. It's really fast to type on, the lighting effects are cool if you're into that, and I really enjoy the simplistic volume and music controls. It's my first mechanical keyboard, and now I'm sold. I don't think I'll ever switch from this one.

i got it for 55 dollars, which is more than half off. nothing i can complain about. the red switch is great for gaming. if you can get it for 55 bucks, i will say get it for sure. if it is original price, i would recommend wait until the price goes down a little bit.

My first time buying a mechanical keyboard was definitely a success. Logitech makes great, durable products ( i also bought a g502 mouse from them) and this thing is heavy and stays firm on the desk. Cherry red keys are very clicky and sensitive which is great for gaming. Would be super cool if the RGB lighting could be other colors other than just white but other than that all the features are awesome.

This keyboard was on special for black friday and I just couldn't resist purchasing it. I was considering a new keyboard since the stock wireless keyboard that came with my new computer was wireless and the signal kept getting getting interrupted and I wasn't able to type seamlessly during emails. I must say the quality on this keyboard is ten fold better than the quality that comes with the standard keyboard issued with computers. Just keep in mind that this keyboard is alot more responsive and sensitive so there will be a small learning curve as you take this out of the box for the first time. I highly recommend this product and buy it now since the price is almost half off!

Ok so I'm going to start by saying that this is my first mechanical keyboard since 1995. The build quality of this board is perfect. Sturdy, reliable and the customizable back light and media keys are a huge plus. The one I got comes with Cherry MX Reds and the only bad thing about them is that they are far louder than expected. I was very much used to silent laptop keyboards. I like the typing sound for like 30 seconds but then it start to get annoying. If you are like me, and want to switch to a mechanical board, I highly suggest getting one with the "Silent Red" switches. It would make the transition experience much better.

This was the first mechanical keyboard I have ever owned, so I was very impressed with it. The Cherry MX Red switches are a little loud, but just quiet enough for my liking, the only complaint i have about the keyboard is the lighting effects don't always work, the G logo doesn't light up if you have your pc in sleep mode. I don't know if this is just my keyboard or not, it is easily fixed with the Logitech app. The keyboard is sleek but stylish, definitely recommend to someone who is looking for a good keyboard on a budget, I would not pay 120 for this keyboard because of the issues i've been having with the lighting, and Logitech doesn't want to help me figure it out, but other than that, amazing board.

This keyboard is very easy on the eyes when typing in low light situations. It is nicely backlit and the light kind of moves along the keyboard like a slow wave.

Had to ding one star due to lack of wrist rest...keyboard is a bit high, but without a doubt the most solid, well-build keyboard I have ever used. it has good weight to it that keeps it from slipping around, and will likely never warp as some plastic keyboards do. with MMO's, often the most used keys on a keyboard break down or get sticky...doubtful this will happen here.

Not a gamer, I needed to replace the standard backlit keyboard. The backspace key on my Logitech K740 began malfunctioning after too many online Sudoku games. I use external mice and keyboard with my laptop. Decided to try gamer’s version, designed to handle a lot of abuse. K740 keys are tested for 10 mil strokes, this model for 50 mil strokes. Sudoku uses the backspace key more than all other keys for all other computer uses combined. So my replacement criteria were 1. Resilient backspace key and 2. The backlight. Unfortunately, the most gamer’s keyboards have crazy multicolor backlights. I was happy to find this one with simple white color. And that is just about all positive that I can say about this model. The backlight works in annoying waves. They can be turned off only by downloading software and keep it opened with all startup programs. More unnecessary software clutter. After getting used to the quiet keyboards, this loud clicking model is something that I would need to get used to again. I suppose the abuse proof mechanical keys cannot be made quiet. The rough, fingerprint proof surface of the keys is not the best for my style of quick sliding over the number keys while trying for speed records of Sudoku. Feels like a sandpaper. Also, the high rise of mechanical keys relative to the low rise of touch keys is something that keeps slowing me down. I was ready to return the keyboard when I tried the mechanical rolling audio volume control. What a delightful experience in comparison to holding the volume up/down keys… Just for that feature alone I decided to keep the keyboard. Then I went on to try music videos on YouTube. Dead silence on all my favorites. Only video works. Checked online, found out that this model does not and will not support YouTube videos. Never knew that audio playback function is keyboard dependent. Oddly, the audio with some videos work, some don’t. For my needs, this model is then virtually useless. Returned it with regrets. Still, that mechanical audio volume control should be standard on all external keyboards… I will miss it… A lot… Bought another K740 instead.

Flimsy and gimmicky. $30 for this would've been OK. $100 is outrageous. Had I known I'd be investing in such an inferior product I'd have held onto my money. Collects debris and gunk way too fast. Keys falling out w/in first few days. Hamfisted software. It looks cool, that's about it. The volume scroller is decent, too I suppose. Less than 2 years into this device, missing, broken keys. I have a very light touch, incidentally. Aside from that it's largely a waste of money.

This was something my son wanted. He is very happy with it and we got a good deal on sale. Not sure if I would pay full price.

The keyboard is nice but it does not have key cap remover
