This thing is really big. If you do nothing but game or only work on your desktop with mouse and keyboard it might be fine. If you do any writing or anything else with your desktop you will find yourself removing it frequently.

A pad that will slow down and become grimy.

Most people wont notice this but if you will then I suggest you steer clear and check out Cordura pads or Artisan pads. This pad is not horrible but not great either.
