Customers are saying

Customers regard the G703 Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with RGB Lighting highly for its excellent battery life, wireless functionality, and comfortable weight. Many appreciate the responsive performance, accurate tracking, and ease of use, although some found the shape and price less appealing. A few users experienced issues with the scroll wheel and buttons. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and features outweighs the negative comments.

Logitech has the best wireless mice. No latency. I wish the scroll wheel on this had stiffer clicks though. Rolls too easily.

I purchased this to play Overwatch. Unfortunately the scroll wheel had issues about a month into having this mouse. The mouse also has a very high height which made it uncomfortable for me to play with since I have small hands. As of this date, the mouse has been shoved into a drawer and has not been seen for almost a year.

Zero difference in response compared to a wired mouse. Great for medium to large hands.

Great mice with nice ergonomics that reminds me of the old reliable MX518. When it's wireless, input lag doesn't seem noticeable however when it's plugged in it does feel slower. Battery life is atrocious, I get around 30 hours per full charge with my current settings which are low light RGB. Obviously battery life will extend about 8 more hours if I disable RGB but that's still pretty bad.

The Logitech G703 is a great performer for gaming, but lacks features often seen in similarly priced mice. This mouse excels on the points that are critical to twitch gaming: fantastic sensor accuracy and response times, even when operated wirelessly, a huge range of DPI settings that accommodate virtually any conceivable preference, no acceleration or other shenanigans built into the sensor, comfortable ergonomics, and great feeling and responsiveness of the buttons and wheel. The degree to which this mouse does these things well helps to overshadow some of its shortcomings. Additional positives include the introduction of wireless charging as an *optional* add-on (a strategy I appreciate), ability to use the USB cable not only for charging but for active use (which not all new Linksys wireless mice support, such as the MX Master S2), and flexible braided USB cable which minimizes hindrance to mouse movement when wired. On the down side, this mouse feels quite basic on features. The button count is surprisingly low for a gaming mouse, eeking by with what I'd consider the bare minimum. The option of a single 10g weight pales in comparison to the more flexible weight configuration options of many other gaming mice, and this option is removed if the POWERPLAY module is used. There is no physical indicator for which DPI setting the mouse is using, and only a single button dedicated to cycle through DPI settings. There is no smooth-scrolling wheel mode. The back button makes an annoying loud 'sproing' noise when I release it. Perhaps worst of all is that I repeatedly encountered the same frustrating bug with the Logitech Gaming Software that I did with Logitech Options and my MX Master 2S, where custom mouse button bindings seem to be randomly forgotten during gameplay, requiring me to give the Logitech Gaming Software focus to remedy the problem.

Got this mouse for Christmas and it's been great for half a year. I play a lot of CS:GO, OW, and SC, and well, the mouse-wheel has started acting up, where it'll randomly jump/and or change weapons, even when firing Left-Click. It's really annoying and has gotten me killed more than I care to admit. Hope it's still under a manufacturer warranty, but it is overall a nice mouse, just maybe this one isn't as good as others? This is my second Logitech mouse, and my first one, a 302 series, was crap. I don't know if I'll go back when I change again.

    Another good Logitech Mouse

I have mostly used Logitech mice and keyboards, and have had good results with them over the years. I have a wired G500s and a wireless G700s at present. The G703 has some advantages over the older mice. First is DPI, the G703 goes up to 12000, which is quite quick for moving around in game on a screen. Plugged in or wirelessly, the mouse worked flawlessly and acted the same. It worked fine over mouse pads and a wooden desk with a rough wood colored top. The mouse itself is comfortable, and with thumb buttons on the left, designed for right handed use. The mouse only has 6 buttons (all programmable) and the scroll wheel. So, think about the type of games you’ll use it for. All are easy to reach, and feel and respond well. The Logitech gaming software picked up the unit no problem. The standard options became available, LED color, battery life, memory settings. Battery life is listed at up to 22 hours, but I'm sure lots of heavy, high DPI, high polling, session will bring that down. But, it should be enough to last a while. Worst case scenario, plug it in and it'll charge while in use. It also comes with a 10g weight to customize the mouse to your liking. You can also customize for the surface the mouse is on. The wireless adapter can be used with USB2, or micro USB with the included adapter. The main benefit of this mouse it seems is to use it in conjunction with the powerplay pad. This adds wireless charging while playing or not using the mouse. Overall, it’s a solid mouse whether used wired or wirelessly.

I can't wait to get one of the Powerplay mats. This mouse is nearly perfect. The weight and grip of the mouse is perfect for almost any grip. If you have large hands, this is one of the few mice I have used that is as comfortable for fingertip or palm grip. The sensors are insanely fast and accurate. I can't tell a difference between wired and wireless. You can use the charging cable, which looks fast with built in wings, in a few different ways. You can attach the dongle direct to the PC or to a micro USB dock that attaches to the USB charging cable. The glide of the mouse is true, possibly one of the smoothest gliding on any mouse pad I have used. The weight is almost ideal with the added weight that comes with it. I may look to find a slightly heavier weight to give a better feel to the movements. The weight is held in place behind a magnetic panel. Very cool design. I can't say enough good about this mouse. I have finally found the mouse to retire my "snake" named mouse. One recommendation, definitely download the software from Logitech. You can adjust the DPI, set multiple profiles that can be saved on the mouse or PC which can auto detect the game you are in. Least importantly....change the light color and pattern. Logitech has once again stepped up their game. I am really looking forward to getting a Powerplay pad. It will keep the mouse charged while in use or at rest. Logitech gives you so many ways to connect, configure and operate this mouse. It is really amazing.
