Customers regard the G703 Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with RGB Lighting highly for its excellent battery life, wireless functionality, and comfortable weight. Many appreciate the responsive performance, accurate tracking, and ease of use, although some found the shape and price less appealing. Great option
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never spent a lot of energy or thought on a mouse. I figured it's a pretty simple accessory that will either just work or it won't. So when I received this one I didn't expect to be wowed. I was wrong. It is super responsive which is a definite plus for gaming and "normal" use. Battery life is decent (not the best but decent) and the fact that you can use it as both a wireless mouse or corded is a definite plus. It's a bit bulky size but comfortable.

Superior Product
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are a serious gamer then you need to try this mouse. It is super fast and very accurate. It is wireless, but can also be used while attached to the charging cord. The response time and accuracy are better than any other mouse I have used. What really makes it special though is the software that Logitech has created to program the mouse. Everything from the colors and their sequence on the mouse to how precise the mouse sensors need to be can be programmed. Different games can perform better with different settings and you can set up individual profiles for each of your games (up to 4) and the G703 will remember them. It is easy to do this with the gaming software provided for free. The G703 has 6 programmable buttons also that can be set to whatever you want whether you are right or left-handed. For me, at least temporarily, I have the 2 side buttons unassigned because of my tendency to accidently touch them with my thumb. The battery life is good as far as I am concerned and I plug it in when I am not using it. You can get 23 hrs out of it depending on whether the colors are turned on or off. Of course if the battery runs out on you, you plug the charging cord in and play while it is charging. When not in use it takes about 2 hrs to charge it. I believe the product is fairly priced and definitely worth it. Hey, you really won't know unless you give it a try. You may not like it, and if you don't then return it, but I bet you will like it.

Great mid level gaming mouse!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The selling point to this mouse is that the response time is just as fast wireless as wired. It is. It has the normal functionality one would expect from a mid-priced gaming mouse, with a few extra features. You can use it wired or wireless and it comes with an extra weight for a firmer mouse feeling. It fits comfortably in the hand and you get about 20 hours per charge if you use it wirelessly. Overall it's worth the money especially if used in conjunction with a Logitech gaming keyboard.

Hardware failures in less than one year...
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In less than one year, this mouse developed serious scroll jitter. This is a common problem with the mouse, and can't be fixed with software. For a $100 "top of the line gaming mouse", I'd expect higher build quality.

Good overall Gaming mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first impression when opening the box was "What is all this stuff". After a couple of minutes of some higher level cognitive thought and downloading the G703 support driver (directly from Logitech). I was up, "Lit" up, and gaming in a few moments. This mouse out of the package is solid and just what one would expect from a quality Logitech mouse. However, the hidden beauty of this device is Logitech Gaming driver. This is a necessary must have to unleash what makes all the bells and whistle of this mouse perform at their peak. New computers generally automatically download the correct support drivers but I would still recommend just going to the Logitech website (registering your product) and then downloading the support driver. I think I am equally impressed with the battery life. I am always on my mouse and have only had to charge it once in a week and half (my results and full disclaimer I did use it plugged in at first). The scroll wheel is smooth and has what I will simply call a correct feel. The Forward and Back buttons do protrude a bit further out than I would prefer. Also, if you are well... as sloppy as I am white is not the color for you (OK me :^). I tend to eat and game and this is not a great combination. I do love the color-changing mouse and just wish I had one with a darker main color. I think for the price point one might spent a few more dollars on another more power and sleek mouse. I honestly think (say for the color) this mouse's home is in the hands of avid gamer in the 10 - 16 age bracket (bracket age results completely made up as I typed haha). Again, because the quality in performance is 100% observable but the older gamer would see where this mouse lacks in build and structure.

Great Gaming Mouse for Dota 2
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been playing dota 2 for many years and I have been using many different gaming mice over the years. My favorite had been Razor Death Adder before I got this. I really like the mouse, the design is just greats and fits my hand perfectly. It looks greats and is very responsive. However even though it is billed as a wireless mouse, the battery is really bad and I usually use it plugged in. I found the battery lasts like 5-6 hours for me on a full charge which frankly is pathetic. But If you use it for gaming then probably you dont care that much depending on if you have a free USB port for you. It has extra buttons and lights that you can customize. Best of all, you can save all the configuration on the mouse itself so you don't have to re-configure if you switch PC.

Did not last long, double click and scroll issues.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This would have been a good mouse, if it worked properly. A lot of people have had problems with these mice and I found that out the hard way. After only a week or two the scroll function just stopped working, but the mouse would randomly scroll anyways. After about a month the mouse would double click, I looked it up only and this is a common issue with the mouse. Would have been better off with a $10 mouse, even after having it replaced it would just screw up again. Have to take it apart, break warranty and mess with it to get it to work. Just not worth it.

Really nice mouse for Gamers!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The overall quality of this mouse is top notch! Even when picking up the box you can tell immediately it's nice just by the look and weight. Installation on Windows 10 was a breeze, with the only thing you need to download/install being the Gaming software which enables you to control settings on the mouse and to use/configure gaming profiles. Comfort wise this mouse is perfect for me. The feel is comfortable with the buttons, wheel and weight all in the right spots. Clicking the buttons and scrolling the wheel you can tell immediately that you have fine/accurate control which is essential for games. The included software is awesome and huge upgrade from what it used to be. Overwatch is awesome and changes the colors on the mouse to match the game being played (supported games only of course). In short, I would recommend this mouse - definitely for gamers a must have and even for casual users who are looking for a high quality mouse.

Overall a great mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off I usually start with the packaging, nothing impressive here to report so I'm moving on. The mouse out of the box seems well thought out but the plastic seems very thin, this may be how they got the mouse so light, which is my favorite aspect. The buttons all have a great audible click which is nice, unfortunately the scroll wheel does not have the clutch to disengage the non audible clicking wheel. Nice quality charging cable including that attaches snugly to the mouse for those crazy gaming sessions. I downloaded the Logitech software to get into programming this mouse. Installing it and the user interface where a breeze. Dialing in the DPI was simple as well as changing any buttons or the color of the wheel and logo. Once all dialed in I ran it through a few hours of gaming and am happy to report it performed well. However I prefer a ergonomic mouse with a few more buttons. Although I won't be tossing this mouse aside for any reason, it will become my portable laptop mouse, the battery seems to keep on kicking so charging it up before a trip or event should suffice. If your a intermediate gamer or looking for a inexpensive replacement you won't go wrong with this mouse. We tend to go through allot of mice anyway so give it a run and see for yourself.

Lights up and is lightning fast!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So the design team behind this bad boy is awesome! You all thought of a durable wire, with an awesome prong that charges the mouse. What's neat about it is that whether i'm working or gaming, when the mouse begins to lose it's charge I can connect the mouse to the charging cable and connect the USB to my computer and it turns it into a normal wired mouse! Mind blown! I can't leave out the feature where you can customize the color system inside the mouse to make it match whatever color I want. I have it cycling through all the colors now because it's a crowd pleasing feature. People keep asking about it and I love it! Logitech also thought about hand movement and I love that they provided a weight to add to the mouse for stability. It sure does help when clicking and moving the mouse around. It took me a solid week to stop playing with that bad boy and to write this but I thoroughly enjoy this new toy and work tool!

Thoughtfully designed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has all the standard customizable features of any gaming mouse, but it's the little design touches that make the difference. For example, the USB cord is very pliable, lightweight, and slick, so when you're using the mouse while plugged in, the fact that it's plugged in is barely perceptible. The USB dongle for wireless use has an adapter so you can plug it into the end of the USB cord to keep it closer to the mouse while using it wirelessly and minimize the lag. Profiles can be stored locally on the mouse, so you can use one of the mouse buttons to shift profiles on the fly without having to open the app and change a setting. That app will also tell you in real time how your chosen settings will affect battery life. So, not only can you change the color and the brightness of the lighting, when you make those changes, you can see how much more or less frequently you'll need to recharge.

Wow!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off this is an awesome mouse that you will love. Build quality is great and it looks nice! This mouse is accurate and has a great dpi range. It does have RGB lights in the mouse itself changing colors to let you know battery status. You can use it wirelessly or wired. Mouse buttons and RGB lights are completely customizable with the Logitech gaming software. It also comes with a 10g weight that you can place on the bottom of the mouse if it's too lightweight for you. It also comes with a charging cable and wireless adapter. I tried it out on several games for several hours and my hand did not feel fatigued. This mouse also works with the soon to be available power play mat which wirelessly charges the mouse as you play. Overall a great above average gaming mouse I would recommend to anyone looking for a new one.

Horribly Unreliable.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse is great when it works. Great customization, nice and comfortable form factor, easy to reach button. The problem is that it disconnects every minute. EVERY MINUTE, whether through wireless usb or connected directly to the PC using the supplied charging cable. It will run fine, then stutter, then stop, then stutter, then completely stop. I have to disconnect/connect the cable or usb receiver literally every minute. Most of the time I have to power off/on the mouse for it to respond again. This mouse sucks.

Logitech owns the mouse world - hands down
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For anyone that's ever bought a desktop computer, there's an good probability that one of your first acts was to trash the mouse that came with it. And if you did, there's an excellent chance you went with a Logitech product. The G703 is their latest advancement in the specialty line of gaming devices. First off is the look - yes, there are other led enhanced color changing mice, so I can't say the G703 has an edge here. Yes, it's very cool looking but doesn't have a range of options available with other manufacturers. As far as ergonomics, that's a very subjective choice. I don't think I need to remind everyone that if you're going to spend this kind of money for a mouse, it needs to feel good to you. Personally, I'd prefer it to have a bit less height in the middle, as I like my palm to be more naturally rested as opposed to a claw type grip. What I do like is the weighting option. Different games call for varying types of motion, if the screen area that gets the bulk of the action is basically centered in a small area, I find that heavier works best for me. Again, this is subjective and subject to your gaming style. Accuracy & precision is without question the best I've ever experienced. Combined with the on-the-fly software settings, there's more DPI available than you'll ever need. I used this wireless and found no issues in connectivity or battery life, but if you get involved in an overnight marathon, you can switch to wired/charging in a flash. I could go on with superlatives about the G703, but for me the choice comes down to one thing. I can spend $$ on more than a few products out there, but how long is it going to last? I honestly can't remember ever trashing a Logitech product. I've handed them down, given them away, but never had a mechanical failure. I have a 25 year old trackball on my work pc that has to have gone through untold millions of clicks and still working like new. For me, the reliability if the brand is without question, if I'm going to spend premium bucks for their product, it's nice to know it'll be with me for awhile.

Great Performance but Missing Features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.+Great Feel/Look +Excellent Performance +Completely Functional Wireless and Wired +Compatible With Logitech's Wireless Charging Mouse Pad -No Free Scroll, No Left/Right Scroll Click -App Required for Changing All Settings -Only One Weight Included Anyone looking for a great performing wireless mouse without spending a huge premium should consider the G703. While there are some missing features, the mouse's great look and excellent performance help overcome any shortcomings in the feature set. Likely the most important spec for anyone looking for a wireless gaming mouse is the wireless performance, and more specifically the lag. This mouse delivers better than any wireless mouse I've ever used; there is no discernible lag that I was able to notice. I did notice some tracking issues initially while using only the small dongle plugged into my computer, but Logitech has included an extender that plugs into the same cord as you use to charge, which allows you to maintain wireless operation while also ensuring you're limiting lag as much as possible by putting the receiver right by the mouse. The addition of Logitech's wireless charging/receiver pad would also greatly help performance, but at $100, I won't be getting one anytime soon. One of my favorite parts of this mouse, however, is how Logitech has made the mouse completely functional either wireless or wired. Lots of other mice I've had require that you place the mouse into a cradle to charge, which makes it convenient to charge and completely unusable when the mouse is dead; the G703 has a long charging cable (usable with the extender as mentioned above) and plugs into the front of the mouse, which essentially turns it into a wired mouse. Great design. The look and feel of this mouse is absolutely great. The aesthetic of this mouse is understated for the most part, but I really like the look, especially with the LED bar in the mouse wheel. The feel of the mouse in your hand is also awesome, one of the most comfortable I've felt. It doesn't have a wealth of buttons, which is a positive in my book; this may be an issue for anyone that is used to a huge array of customizable buttons. Also, the back/forward buttons on the side are well placed; out of the way so you don't accidentally click them (as I tend to do with other mice) but easily in range when you need them. One downside to the great hand feel of this mouse is that it's made for right handed people only, so any left-handers will need to look elsewhere. Additionally, while the streamlined button layout is a plus, they've decided to not include a free spin wheel (where you press the button and the mouse will free scroll), and they've also not included left and right clicks on the wheel. Finally, while the mouse has a mechanism for allowing different weights, they've only included a 10g plate. Overall, this is a great mouse, with a few minor missing features, that performs extremely well and is worth the money for anyone that requires the kind of wireless performance this thing can accommodate.

A great mouse for gaming and everything else
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off by saying that I have been playing computer games for many years. I would consider myself to be an above average player on most games. I don't get into as much as some because I like the raw feeling of playing without X tools. Well, this is one time where I can say that I missed out. For years, I have played with the standard wired mouse that came with the computer or have used the wireless laptop mice that I have acquired here and there. The Logitech G703 certainly made a difference. I love the feel and the response was amazing. I can't quantify the difference in my game play, but I can say that I felt the speed increase doing certain things. I also feel that this mouse is great for everyday computing. The fact that you can use it wired or wireless is nice. As someone that travels for work, I think that is a huge plus. Much like being at home, if the battery goes, I can then switch it up and not miss a beat searching for a new battery. That brings me to another perk of this beauty. The rechargeable battery is great. If I recall, the charging process didn't take long and the battery life has been exceptional. Getting into the physical features of the mouse, there is a lot to like. I love the feel of the body between the coated top and the rubber coated sides. It makes it easy to handle and it doesn't feel awkward at all. I also think the button and wheel placements are spot on. The coolest feature is of course the color changing. This isn't a must for me, but the kids got a kick out of it. I look forward to playing with that more through the app as time moves on. For now, I like the scrolling colors for entertainment. The lone con that I have is that it seems to be built for right handed people. It's okay to use with your left hand, but it certainly has a different feel due to the arcing of the top. I have used some universal/symmetric ones in the past and that would have been nice here. However, it's not a huge turnoff unless you use the mouse with your left hand.

An uncompromising gaming mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech G703 is an excellent mouse for any use case. It's sleek build combined with its crisp, responsive experience will not leave you disappointed. PROS: Precision/ Feel - I will preface this section with the fact that I have never owned a gaming mouse so I don't have a full breadth of comparison. However, I can not say enough good things about the precision of this mouse. Simply put; wherever you point it, it goes. Whether wired or not, there is no latency. It is also very easily customizable via DPI settings, the optional 10g weight, and the ability to tune to whatever surface you use it on. After a few very simple adjustments, the mouse really feels like it was custom made for you. Build/ Features - Although some of this is a matter of preference, I love the way this mouse looks. The sleek, matte white main body counters the soft touch black on the sides perfectly and although I wasn't initially interested in the lighting at first, I have come to like it a lot. All of the buttons and scroll wheel provide just the right amount of feedback and the long, braided usb cord allows you to put the wireless sensor in a convenient place on your desk. The cord also fits perfectly in the front of the mouse to recharge it without being cumbersome. That is, when you even need to charge it considering the great battery life. CONS: NONE - I try to be as fair as possible in my reviews and even play "devil's advocate" to a certain extent in order to identify things some may find as flaws. In this case, I really couldn't find anything. I am very VERY happy with this mouse. It exceeded all my expectations.

Great for Gaming - Fast and Responsive
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The material, texture, and sculpting of the mouse is amazing and comfortable. The mouse itself has a nice weight to it and gives a sense of control. Also, the tracking is better than any input device I had in the past and the precision and responsiveness is just as a wired mouse would be. The mouse also comes with a removable cable for charging and for wired operations.
