Customers are saying

Customers regard the G703 Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with RGB Lighting highly for its excellent battery life, wireless functionality, and comfortable weight. Many appreciate the responsive performance, accurate tracking, and ease of use, although some found the shape and price less appealing. A few users experienced issues with the scroll wheel and buttons. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and features outweighs the negative comments.

I got this for a very good deal! It was a lot more expensive but even if not on sale it still is worth the price. For me the performance with more expensive types of mouse is the same. Maybe, for other gamers they will look for more customizable bottons but for FPS gamers this really is the best to its price

Really wanted to keep this mouse...

I really wanted to keep this mouse. The shape was great for my hands (which are on the larger side) and I didn’t need a bunch of bells and whistles. However, the scrolling issue is absolutely unbearable and the firmware fix that Logitech suggests is essentially useless. I ended up trading up to a G903 just to get something nicer and that actually works as intended (though I don’t like the shape nearly as much). For those not aware: While scrolling vertically the scroll bar/function will constantly jump around and freeze. There were instances where I was scrolling for over 10 seconds and couldn’t get the page to advance. Logitech has a firmware update that is supposed to fix the issue, but after installing it the issue persisted. This is clearly a hardware issue that needs to be fixed.

The mouse is great. Just as good as previous version. Wish It had a two buttons vs one button to adjust dpi. Kinda of don't like the cheap plastic feeling. If those things were corrected in future release would be a 5 star review. Would not pay full price. Got it about half off seems like that should be ideal price.

    Comfortable and on-the-fly DPI Customization

The first thing I noticed when I started using this Logitech G703 was the lightweight and while it felt like I was playing with a feather, I did not like it until I realized it came with a 10 gram (0.4-ounce) weight you can insert into the bottom slot. Many will prefer its feather weight but for me it is a matter of preference and having a choice makes it perfect. Its lag free performance and extremely accuracy due to its optical sensor and DPI range up to 12,000 makes it the ideal mouse for gaming. The software automatically recognized all the games I play which was an unexpected but welcome feature. A very nice touch is that it has a small button that will change the DPI range automatically, allowing you to fine tune it on the fly for different situations as often as you need/want. There are 6 programmable buttons, much less than I would wish but its focus on gaming is obvious and works very well as such. Also welcome is the included very long USB cable which allows you to keep playing while it charges. It can also be charged wireless while playing with the optional Logitech G Powerplay mat if you want even more convenience. I cannot say much about that option because I have not tried it. At first it may look a little like cheap plastic but it is just on the surface because a careful examination will reveal it's sturdier than it appears. Considering Logitech's 50 million clicks guarantee, I am positive it is. Design and ergonomic is good as long as you are not left handed. The LED lighting is cool even though it may drain the battery quicker (still lasts a least a couple of days with some heavy playing) and it makes it look more premium which is how it actually feels. Highly recommended for gaming. I would rate it as 4 and a half stars but there is no such option. The half star I would take away is just because of the lack of options for the left handed.

I've had many different mice over the years; both wired and wireless. This mouse is top-notch. It feels great and has tons of customization. I use it gaming and it doesn't seem to miss a beat when compared to a wired mouse.

My son got this as an upgrade for his gaming system. He loves it and improved the mouse by ordering "mouse skates" that move more smoothly than the ones on the bottom of the mouse from the manufacturer.

This is a good simple gaming mouse. I have had more high end gaming mice, but they turned out to be difficult to use when the action got intense. My only criticism is that my first one only lasted about a year and then needed to be replaced. But, I still went for the same model!

This mouse is probably the best one I have so far. The grip is perfect and the weight is adjustable. But everyone was good about this mouse except the roller in the center. Died after 3 months of regular usage. Super disappointed

This mouse rocks! Solid wireless connectivity, but with the option of going straight cable for the lowest possible latency. Great how they designed the cable/dongle/connector to connect to the mouse very sturdily.

This is my first wireless gaming mouse. I'm not disappointed. It holds a charge for a very long time. No noticable latency vs my wired mouse. Also fits nicely in my average sized hand.

One of the best mice I have ever used. I would compare this to the G Pro Wireless in performance. Really nice feel and grip for my hand.
