What won me over is the fact it can be used wired as well. The size is great for my small/medium hands since I use a claw method when I use my mouse. I have this for gaming and a vertical mouse for work

That’s a smart dual-mouse setup! The G705 really shines with its versatility—wired or wireless, it’s ready to play. And its compact, contoured design is perfect for claw grip users with smaller hands, just like you mentioned. Pairing it with a vertical mouse for work is a great way to balance comfort and performance across your day. Love the thoughtful approach! Logitech

Perfect sized wireless mouse with calming lights

First wireless mouse to have and works fine with Mac as well. The size is not too small but just fits right though I have large hands. The Logitech G-Hub app is a must to download, to change the light pattern, assign commands to the buttons, scroll speeds, standby time before sleep/auto shutoff, and other settings I’ll still have to look into.. but to also seeing the battery life left there is, which will definitely last (after a full charge) depending how often you’re using the computer. It does last 40 hours if your gaming nonstop and have the lights at max, otherwise playing around with the settings set at low or medium lighting or none at all, would lengthen battery life and for example once soon to start working from home in my case would just be not all 5 days (4 days home, one day in office), I would charge it on the weekends, or just have it wired using the included cable if you’re already running low. Though it’s a gaming mouse, I use it mainly for productivity on my mac either for work or just casual computing and research. I currently am using the usb transmitter but will pair to Bluetooth later on as I may incorporate other usb devices. It comes with a usb extender and usbc cable for charging and data (for updates via the Logitech hub software). All in all, perfect mouse workout the hassle of wires, that could go well with a white themed computing setup.

    SMOOTH MOVEMENT!

I really like this new LOGITECH G705 MOUSE! While marketed as a gaming mouse - I'm not a gamer - but certainly appreciate the responsive movement and action of this product! Logitech always produces high-quality products and this is no exception. The mouse fits in my larger hand very comfortably, when some don't. I also really liked the ability to connect the G705 Mouse via Bluetooth and Lightspeed. Overall, I felt the Lightspeed connection a bit better in MY office environment. The ability to change colors on the mouse was pretty cool, but doesn't add anything operationally to the mouse. At $100 it isn't the most economical mouse on the market, but it looks pretty cool. The G705 seemed to hold a charge pretty good, but again, I'm not a gamer so for the avid player who knows how they feel about the length of charge. I found it a bit cumbersome to have to "change wires" to connect the G705 for charging. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone who is upgrading their mouse to newer technology.

An elegant looking gaming mouse for smaller hands

Logitech - G705 Aurora Collection Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with Customizable LIGHTSYNC RGB Lighting - White Mist Of all of the computer mice I have used over the years Logitech has been the most consistent brand. It's been the most compatible with all my hardware and no matter how good the competition is a Logitech mouse always seems to be the one I go back to. I have been using a Logitech G900 as my daily mouse. I had hoped to move the G900 to a different computer then my primary workstation/gaming computer but the last two mice I have used failed so it was back to the G900. The G705 is another very nice mouse from Logitech and I would make it my daily driver but unfortunately it's just a bit too small for my hands. Logitech describes the G705 as a compact design. I would say my hand is of average size so saying this is a compact mouse is correct. I could be happy using this mouse each day but my wife said she wants it so that's that. But keep in mind it is intended for smaller hands. She also has a white computer so it's a natural fit for her. The G705 is a very attractive mouse. It has a classy look which benefits from the LED lighting it uses. The lighting is diffused on the rear of the mouse and has a very elegant look. It uses the GHUB software to manage the lighting, buttons and a few other settings including any custom macros you might setup. You can also turn the lighting off completely if you are concerned about the battery life. I have used the mouse for around two weeks of full business days and several evening gaming sessions and have yet to need a recharge. That was using the wireless dongle. My experience is that Logitech mice tend to have great battery life and I would expect that to be the case here. The G705 uses a USB Type C port for data and charging. And it can also connect using the included wireless dongle and Bluetooth. I would recommend using the dongle for most cases. I use Bluetooth to connect to my notebook so it's nice you have all of the connection options. I like the buttons and overall it is a very easy mouse to use. It is really hard to fault this mouse. The DPI settings for gaming are very easy to change or setup your own settings. The included USB cable is of nice quality and has an adapter for the wireless dongle. I also used the G705 on my KVM switch which worked just fine. I want to give Logitech a shoutout on the packaging. It is all cardboard with the only plastic being the tape. There is just no reason to do it any other way. Finally my only concern about this mouse is the way the top plastic parts have so many edges. They seem ready to trap dirt and grease. Also being white won’t help here. It is a minor thing and with a bit of attention now and then you can keep it looking new. I am going to have to give up this mouse to my wife. But I am sure she is going to really enjoy it. It will look great as a replacement to her Dell mouse and give her All-In-One the look and feel it should have had. Now we need to look at the Logitech keyboards in the Aurora collection as a perfect match.

Great Gaming Mouse w/Almost Unlimited RGB Options

The Logitech G705 Aurora Collection Wireless RGB Gaming Mouse is a great mouse. In the box you will find the mouse, setup instructions, a USB-A to USB-C cable, an extender and a receiver. In order to use the mouse, you can either plug the receiver directly into a USB port on you PC, or plug the receiver into the extender then plug the extender into the cable and the cable into you USB port. I prefer this option because when it’s time to charge the battery in the mouse, I just unplug the extender from the cable and plug the cable into the mouse. Once charged, I switch it back. A button on the top of he mouse, just behind the scroll wheel gives you the ability to change the color of lighting pattern of the mouse. Load Logitech’s G-Hub from their web site and get into the real power of the mouse. The mouse comes with 6 buttons and you can change what functions the buttons perform. You can program the buttons to change lighting functions, mouse sensitivity, in game actions, or PC commands. An onboard memory profile slot allows you to store your profile on the mouse for a game or app and even lets you use that profile on a different PC The mouse has 2 glide pads on the bottom of the mouse to make the mouse move smoothly regardless of the work surface. They claim the mouse will keep charged through a 40 hour gaming session without charging. I can’t speak to that, but can say that I have been using it on a frequent basis for 2 weeks now and the battery still shows 47%. That’s pretty good considering the LED color show it does while in use. Overall, it’s a great mouse and the software makes it even better. I can highly recommend this mouse to anyone, if they are a gamer or not.

Full stop - this is my favorite mouse I've ever used. The standout feature for me is the extra button just below the scroll wheel. When pressed, the mouse will cycle through 3 different DPI settings. If you're not familiar with DPI, it equates to how fast the cursor moves on screen. I do 3 main things with my desktop - video & audio editing, general web browsing, and gaming. It just so happens that each of those uses has a different optimal DPI setting. I love that I can use the slower setting for more precision when editing, the medium setting for just browsing the web, and the fast setting while gaming. Normally, I would need to jump into the computer settings to change this for each activity, but having it happen with the touch of a button right on the mouse is magical. Some other standout features: the white color is slick and looks great next to my black & white keycaps (good ol' stormtrooper look), the customizable lighting is a fun add-on, and the USB-C charging tops the battery off in just a few minutes when it's running low. I also like that it comes with a USB dongle for connectivity to use (in addition to bluetooth). I've always found dedicated dongles to have a more stable connection, so it's a nice addition.

Great mouse for smaller adult hands. Love the key customization - if you're on the fence with the quick access keys they're easy to disable. LG hub is difficult to work with but the immersive play is great.

I bought the whole logitech headset, keyboard, and mouse set. It is super cute. I love that there is an app for all of these products so you can program your own colors. I play League of Legends, Valorant, Fortnite, Rust, etc and I have had ZERO issues with latency. (I am plat 3 on League too so this keyboard is not stopping me from ranking high) I recommend! Charge over night and it lasts the whole day + more charged

Logitech has been the gold standard in mice and keyboards for as long as I can remember and this mouse furthers their legacy of successful hardware. While the visual cosmetics in the form of lights add a nice touch to an otherwise boring mouse experience, it does not distract from the basic functionality of the device. The pads respond nicely to touch and the scroll wheel feels solid and smooth. The toggle switch to change mouse speeds is helpful but I would prefer this to be a software controlled setting as the placement of the button has caused me to trigger it a couple of times by accident. As it's a compact mouse Logitech traded width for height so when you look at this mouse next to other mice it's taller; which for me is a positive, because it allows my palms to form a tighter grip over the unit. I haven't hit it with the Doritos test yet but I know its coming soon; you know the one: Your fingers are caked in heavenly Doritos cheese dust and after licking every last finger fighting to suck/lick/bite/scrape off the last tasty morsels of particulate your fingers are still orange so you reach for the box of Kleenex by your monitor and remember it’s been empty for a week. Your eyes frantically search the surrounding space for something to wipe off the caked-on-magic-dust-of-delight. You curse as you look around the room when you realize your only prospect of clean hands depends on the damp towel from your morning shower that is still curled up on your floor, but too far for you to reach unless you get up. Instead you succumb to your laziness and just wipe your fingers on your pajama bottoms and then wrap those fingers around the mouse and resume gaming. Several hours later after your gaming haze has worn off you look down at your formerly white mouse and see the orange residue reminding you that there’s another bag of Doritos in the kitchen.

This is an excellant product. I always found it bothersome to use a corded mouse. This has various features that allow you to adjust its colored lighting and you can recharge the battery by plugging its USB cable into your computer while still using the mouse.

Came from Corsair dark core rgb wireless. Loved my Corsair- had no issues with but that it was a tad too big for my hand. Second thumb button was a little difficult to reach. Switched to this one and I cannot recommend enough if you have smaller hands. Battery life is great-connectivity is great.

    A Surprisingly Disappointing Mouse

This mouse represents another sad example of how when EVERYTHING is a gaming mouse, NOTHING is a gaming mouse. This is a wireless mouse with a contoured smaller fit that is being marketed as a gaming mouse. It is powered by a rechargeable battery with a reported use time of 40 "gaming-hours." It is also being marketed as a companion to the G735 headset and the G715 keyboard (which share a similar design aesthetic). The mouse is contoured for the RIGHT hand and would not be helpful to a left handed user. It is designed to fit a smaller hand but I found it to be very comfortable in my very large right hand. The design to fit a user with a smaller hand is a welcome arrival. The G705 can connect via Bluetooth to any computer but is designed to communicate with Logitech's LIGHTSPEED wireless technology (with included GHUB receiving dongle). Alas, this technology is only available for Windows 10/11 and for MAC OS - Chromebooks are not really considered gaming notebooks but I still think they deserve support for desirable mouse features. Any currently marketed hardware with features wholly unavailable to Chromebooks gets a star off from the start. Reduced to its advertised essence, this is a mouse, presumably for gamers, sporting support for moody RGB lighting. And while it can supply a lovely under-palm spray of light that is nicely projected from the mid-palm perimeter of the mouse, the functionality of the mouse is a deal-breaker. Both with Bluetooth connectivity and using their included dongle connectivity, this mouse was plagued with lag. Continuous movement was OK (not stellar), but initial movement was clunky and choppy - every move from still made it look like I was moving the mouse after a long break. For simple computer tasks like browsing and file navigation, the lag was annoying - it was fundamentally unacceptable in games. Thinking that I was being overcritical, I went through a comparison with eight other miscellaneous wireless mice I had here and this newly available mouse was easily the worst of the bunch. I understand that RGB lighting is cute and desirable but I can't understand how such a well known company can be manufacturing a mouse for this price that is annoying to use even when you're just browsing the web. Logitech could have done much better. I cannot recommend this mouse for any use whatsoever.
