Keyboard is amazing, the feel and response is top notch. Layout is great with hand positioning and programmable keys with backlight makes this keyboard my all time favorite.

Bought this on black friday 2016 for a discount. Fry's had it for $10 less, but best buy had in store pickup. Cherry MX blues work well, but sometimes the spacebar accidentally triggers, even without the actuation force. It's a bit worrying, but I hope nothing bad comes from it. Some keycaps can be switched; I'm using a slightly modified Dvorak layout.

I bought this product on sale. I have a few good keyboards: Filco Majestouch with Cherry MX Blue, K70 RGB with MX Red, Cherry G3000 with MX Brown. But the top-notch keyboard I'm using for my Mac is the HHKB type S with silent Electrostatic Capacitive Key switches. Based on my experience, I would say that the Logitech G710 blue is a solid product completely in competent with sale price tag. You have programmable keys, hand wrist, volume control and adjustment backlight. It comes with authentic Cherry MX Blue switches, which are clicky and responsive. Moreover, it is solid made with good logetich support. However, if you are looking for the highest quality keyboards and willing to spend more than $130 bucks, this one is not for you. The switches are not as smooth and crisp as my other first-tier keyboards. So is the design. However, for people who want a solid mechanical keyboard with limited budget, I would recommend this one.

I purchased this keyboard at $50 around December 2015. I would have a hard time recommending it at any price higher than $70. Key switches are Cherry MX Blues - Cherry switches are widely considered to be second to only Topre switches which have a pretty different design. I only bought this keyboard because it has such high quality switches. Keycaps are thin and made of weak plastic. The spacebar is a nonstandard size if you're planning on purchasing your own ABS keyset and replacing the caps. The design looks somewhat gimmicky, and the faceplate is extremely difficult to remove if you want to spray paint it yourself. The backing plate has some nice weight to it - stays put pretty well.

Got this as a present for my son who loves to play video games. He really is happy with it. Loves the backlight options and it has firm keys that click when tapped which he really likes over his old HP keyboard. Def recommend!

I personally like the 710 over the 710+. I like blue cherry over the red because you can hear the clicks and know your response. The 710 doesn't have the dampers like the 710+ This is a keyboard meant for typing not gaming tho you could use it for gaming but I recommend a red cherry for gaming. It's a logitech product and they are well known for their customer service! Great company with a great product. I would recommend to a friend or family member! Got this one sale during black Friday and I couldn't be happier

This is my first mechanical gaming keyboard. I've had non mechanical gaming keyboards and thought they were pretty nice. This kb blows them away. I still suck at the games I play, but the feel, and responsiveness are much better than the non-mechanical. Its very clicky, fairly loud, but I don't mind the noise (My wife's not so fond of the noise) but great keyboard, I got it on sale and got a fantastic product for a great price, couldn't be happier. Logitech has always been a great company. Highly recommended.

If you're a fan of logitech and cherry mx switches, you won't be dissapointed. This one has blue switches which have a satisfying clicky sound and it is quite audible, so make sure you're a fan of that before you opt for this one. Logitech has a brown version which looks and feels very similar but without the audible feedback clicky sound. This keyboard has macro keys and media keys which are rare to find on a mech keyboard, it also looks great and feels superb to type on.

I already owned a G710+ (the orange variety of this keyboard that uses Cherry MX Brown key switches; it's a little bit quieter) and decided to pick this one up as a backup. The blue key switches are what were used in the older 2013 model Blackwidows and are still used in various gaming keyboards by other manufacturers. They have a decent amount of travel, a good actuation point and click feel, and work well for most gamers. The main issue with them is their noise, as they are one of the loudest switches available on a keyboard. Logitech's newer G910, G810 and G410 use their new G-Romer switches that were developed for them, and they are silent, but they also feel more like premium dome switches than actual mechanical switches, so there is a trade-off for noise reduction. The software and configuration on this keyboard is pretty good. It has no on-board memory, but it does have several game keys and adjustable back-lighting that can be differentiated over the main game-specific keys (WASD and the arrow keys) but only provides white back-light, unlike some of the more expensive current generation keyboards. This keyboard has a nice long USB cable with 2 plugs, as it has a full-speed USB passthru for a mouse, headphones, memory stick, whatever you want. One thing I will mention about durability. Originally the G710+ had some issues with the quality of the key caps, and some failed (the caps actually broke off of the switches) but Logitech assured me (and others) that they have corrected the production process for their key caps now, and that this is no longer an issue. This should have been corrected before the blue G710 was released, so none of these boards should be affected by this issue.

This is my second mechanical keyboard. Coming from a 5+ year old Razer Blackwidow Ultimate. Yeah, yeah, "Razer quality", but that Blackwidow was good to me during the 5+ years I had it. This is better than the Blackwidow in almost every way though. What's missing? Razer Synapse software, hate it or not, lets you remap ANY key on the keyboard. I remapped Caps Lock into a second Back Space, turning it into a useful key for writing. I remapped Num Lock into Tab making Excel easier. Unfortunately, Logitech gaming software only lets you remap the 6 macro keys. Other than that, the Logitech G710 is better in every way. - Real Cherry MX keys. None of that cheap, Chinese Kailh imitation. You get German tight, quality control. - Looks better. - White backlighting that you can change in 5 brightness settings. - Dedicated buttons to control the lighting. - Volume scroll. - Mute button. - Windows key disable button. - USB port in the back (which I never use). - Fairly easy to navigate software. - Keycaps feel nice. Though, I don't know what kind of plastic since that knowledge is usually known by the more hardcore mechanical keyboarders. - Thick cable. Not braided, but I prefer that. I hate it when braided cables start to fray. Overally, I like this a lot, and enjoy typing on it.

not as noisy as others that I've tried. works as expected. no problems with any of the keys. I do game on this. eg. GTAV, LoL, Battlefront, SR4, Dirty Bomb, FFXIV, etc. Won't be going back to a keyboard without back-lighting at the very least. Media keys are nice and I like the roll of the volume knob.

Got it on sale. Mechanical keyboards are a must have in the gaming world. I never believed the hype until I gamed with it. The satisfying click clack and definitive key press makes for efficient and effective gaming. Warning: these are NOISY. If you don't like that, go for the brown mx (these are cherry mx blue). Google the differences if you're curious

Very loud, but exactly what I wanted. Ended up getting this on sale for $50 and it was well worth the purchase price. Feels very good for typing. Software is mediocre, but Logitech does a good job integrating all of their product software into the same package.

I have long used Cherry G80 blue switch keyboard and loved it. This G710 is a great upgrade over that one. It has almost the same feel, but also provides cool extra functionalities as well as the backlight. Perfect choice for both typing and casual gaming.

The Logitech G710 has a ton of great features. The white backlight is bright but not distracting. It feels solid and sturdy built. The key texture and push pressure is excellent. I especially like the volume control knob and the braided cords.

Love this keyboard! Love that it is backlit and the keys are so much fun to type on. My only complaint is that the keys feel a little rough or sticky when pressed compared to other mechanical keyboards from Logitech! Overall a great product and functionality is great. Cannot change the color of the keys.
