For years I was a Corsair Cherry MX fan. Working on laptops or MACs during the day my muscle memory had to adjust from typing on short throw keys. With this keyboard, I no longer needed to readjust, I actually typed faster. My gaming experience on FPSs has improved as well. Highly recommend if you have to or enjoy typing on short throw keyboards.

Don't Buy From Best Buy (ie: Worst Buy)

Not sure if we're going to keep this keyboard, but not because of the keyboard, because Best Buy seems to treat its customers awfully. This is more about a terrible, maybe typical, experience with Best Buy's Customer Service. I know this isn't the place for that, but I really don't care. This is to try to help other people considering purchasing this item from Best Buy, from dealing with a frustrating situation. Just buy it somewhere else. The product photos for this keyboard specifically show a braided cable. That's a detail that mattered to the person this was for. The first, second, and fifth images clearly show a braided cable. For it not to have a braided cable is plainly misleading and is false advertisement. The keyboard we received did not have a braided cable, but a seemingly cheaper, non-premium, regular cable. This keyboard is pricey, in the higher-end for a pre-made gaming keyboard. It already has cheaper ABS keycaps, which we go into this knowing, but those can be replaced when they wear. The cable is a premium feature that the keyboard is shown to have and it can't be replaced like the keycaps. Add to that, that we go into this purchase thinking it will be there. Apparently it isn't there anymore. After being passed around by chat reps who don't care if they do, or who seem to even want to, drive people insane, several attempts at calls or chats where I was put on hold indefinitely or ghosted by a rep (only to receive an email of them pretending like they were actually there, when they weren't) I found a way around Best Buy's customer service gatekeeping. If you call a store and tell the AI who answers that you'd like to place a large order of computers, you will magically be put on the phone with a human (in sales) who actually wants to help (and I believe they were on the same continent as well--nothing about race, all about general attitude toward Americans, even if well earned). This wonderful person didn't say, "You've reached the wrong department," and hang up on me, they listened to me, and helped me figured out what happened. They confirmed that the first rep that I spoke with was wrong and that replacing the keyboard is pointless (not only wasting more of my time, but also Best Buy's resources--is it cheaper to write off customers problems and waste time and money on shipping?) because it's not made with the braided cable anymore and that the website has incorrect information. If you buy this, you're paying for a premium feature pictured that the product is no longer made with. It took a few minutes on the phone with this person to figure this out, but obviously, they couldn't provide a resolution, because, Sales, not Service. Armed with a true understanding of the situation, I, yet again, decided to subject myself to the 1-888 number because I felt mislead, frustrated, and wanted to speak with the department who could actually provide a resolution. I should have and probably did know better, but I had the answers so now we could try to solve the problem. After explaining this to a rep who said she had to escalate the call as the situation was beyond her level, I was transferred to someone who also refused to do anything to resolve the problem. She even started off by saying we should replace it with another of the same. In this case, I believe that a partial refund to compensate for the premium feature shown, that is not actually available, is fair--not a lot, but enough to make a me feel like they acknowledged their mistake and the wasted time they caused, the time I took to actually figure out what was going on (against their gatekeeping wishes, which in the end saved them money on return shipping, etc.), and enough to make up for the difference in what is shown vs. what is received. Instead of listening to a frustrating experience and a reasonable request, the rep brushed me off over and over. And still, even though she said she understood the problem, wanted to replace the keyboard with the same keyboard. Clearly, she had no clue and didn't want to try to. I asked if I had a bad connection or if I was speaking too quickly and was met with silence. I went out of my way to facilitate a resolution and not waste time/money with pointless exchanges and I was treated like crap for it. I have a theory that Best Buy's customer service is intentionally this bad so that their customers lose their minds and start smashing all of their devices and then have to buy new ones. TLDR This keyboard is no longer made with a braided cable and hasn't been for at least a year, yet Best Buy still has the old product photos posted, which is misleading and is false advertising. Also, Best Buy seems to hate its customers and if you have a problem, there's a high probability that instead of getting help, you will have someone try to make the situation worse, unless you lie to a robot. But lying to the robot will only give you answers, not solve the problem. No one with the power to help truly cares and the problem will never be solved.

This is by far the worst Logitech keyboard I've ever owned. I have owned all of the highest tier keyboards from Logitech since the g15. This keyboard's keys are flat and there's no tick on the F or J key or on the 5 in the 10 key area like there are on the G15, G19, or G910 to indicate what keys they are so if your hand so much as slips off of the keyboard, you have to look down to reposition it, unless you can feel your way around it. There is no indentions in the keys caps and the feel is what I would describe as a laptop keyboard with clicky switches. This keyboard is NOT for large hands. my hands feel cramped just typing on it for this review. There is zero ergonomics that went into this and honestly, I don't know how anyone can game on this thing for hours without developing carpal tunnel. I'm write a lot of scripts in bash, powershell, zshell, and cmd for my work and after a few days of having this keyboard, I'm ready to plug my g910 back in and find a new brand. Logitech has removed the one gimmick I bought into a long time ago when I purchased my first keyboard from them which was the built in display, so I'm thinking of switching to razr or another brand after this whole experience. Logitech products have served me well over the years but this was an absolute let down. I can't believe I paid so much for this garbage keyboard. I've also tried wrist rests, I've tried the keyboard with the back legs up, back legs down, this thing sucks. If I had one positive thing to say about this keyboard, it's that the switches are very nice and clicky. That's about all I got though. My typing accuracy is usually very good, but I made 27 typos while writing this review due to this stupid keyboard in combination with my big hands and had to go back and fix each one.

That's disappointing to hear and it's surely not what we expect to deliver. We understand your displeasure and apologize for any issues that arise. We value your input, therefore we will forward it along to the appropriate team so they can look into it. Thanks a lot!

Nice and clicky. Solid construction. Minimal design compared to Orion model I had before, which I couldn't repurchase. Wouldn't go back now though. Pleased with everything.

The keyboard overall has a great feel to it and is very responsive when it comes to using it for both gaming and normal tasks such as writing emails. My only complaint being that the keyboard requires to 2 USB plug ins to work properly but other than the keyboard is great!
