Not fully Illuminated killed it for me.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't for the love of me understand why Logitech decided that it was a good idea not to fully illuminate this keyboard and the other similar wireless model. This is a beautiful looking keyboard with most of the features that anyone would want from a keyboard, but the fact that characters such as ~!@#$%^ etc are not lighted up in the dark killed it for me. Here I am typing this review from a competitor's keyboard. Come on Logitech think twice for the next interaction of this model. I'm sure you have lost lots of sales because of this silly mistake. Other than that, awesome keyboard.

Great keyboard in general
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice braided cable with the black ver of the keyboard, as much as i like clicky keyboards i went back to the tactile for that quiter click, just wished the white model had a braided cable

Some good, some not so good aspects
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice keyboard BUT here's why I'm returning it: - special characters don't light up so you better memorize where the $, &, and other characters are because you sure as heck can't see them unless you're working in a very bright room! - some of the keys sound clacky when they bottom out and some are nice and firm and no clack. The W and T and left CTRL key sound clacky. I don't like this. I would keep the keyboard if it weren't for this because I don't like clacky sounds! Seems like a quality control issue, but for $200...no.

Pretty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Special characters {!@#$%^& ETC} are not lit and extremely difficult to see. Keys are too small for someone with larger fingers. Lighting choices need a stable full time setting without the constant changing of color and effects {annoying}. With a $200.00 price tag I would expect more choices. It is a heavy board which I find desirable. Key action and response is exceptional.

Avoid at all costs!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely shocked at the poor quality of software for this product. I really expected more from logitech. This was the first logitech product i've bought in 10+ years. And now I remember why I avoided their products. Upon install the Ghub software instantly crashes. When it does work lghub_agent.exe will eat up CPU usage and make my computer waste electricity. On reboot the software may decide it doesn't want to work anymore. I spent hours setting up my color profiles then to have to uninstall the entire program and lose all my settings because the program wouldn't start, it just kept loading but never started. The keyboard itself is very nice. I've never had one that felt so good, but for it's price I expect the features to actually work. I am returning it and I'll scout around for a better low profile keyboard. I can wait.

Didn’t last as long as I hoped
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a great keyboard when it worked. It made it about four months before the lights on the top began to flicker and it would change between the profile buttons during the flickering.

2 broken keyboards in under 8 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought I had finally stepped up my game, and upgraded to the new G815. I had accidentally spilled liquid on my favorite previous board, and needed a new one. I bought this guy, and used it for only a few months before I noticed that my R key was flaky. After another 2 weeks of dealing with logitech support demanding I 'clean' the keyboard ( it was well taken care of, no dirt dust or fluids near it) and making me reinstall software that did nothing (seriously, it was 1 broken key, not the whole board) they finally relented and sent me a replacement. I integrated that replacement under 3 months ago into my setup and now my U key double clicks. It has about an 80% rate of double tapping, making it unusable for menus in games, and cause a signficiant amount of headache typing. I am writing this review while awaiting another round of out-sourced support with logitech that will likely mean not having a working keyboard except my backup I had to buy until october. Most expensive keyboard I ever bought, worst experience all around - clicky keys are very stiff compared to previous logitech clicky keys, giving finger fatigue. volume dial smoothness is not consistent and overall the flatness of the board also leads to a learning curve like learning to type on a laptop flatboard, which i didn't expect at first. If you want a reliable gaming experience, do yourself a favor and get anything but this board - Its just not there yet, and these "new ultra small" switches they are using are not there yet IMO. I wish I hadn't bought, I'd take anything else that costs half as much at this point.

Chattering double keying
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had the keyboard for more than two years. Keyboard was fine for the most part, but then the letter “e” started double typing like so “ee”. Super frustrating. I would not recommend Logitch. This seem to be a known issue too. I paid $250 and would expect the keyboard to last longer than 2yrs. I tried flushing out the key w/99% isotope alcohol and using compressed air to get rid of debris. I’ll up date the.firmware next, but i think this keyboard is toast. I’ll giving it away. May thee neext poor soul not losee his mind duee to my gifteed keeyboard.

Wouldn't recommend
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was good for about a year and then keys started yellowing through use. Definitely avoiding Logitech. They seem so well built and high quality, but even my cheap Razer keyboard I had didn't show this kind of issue after 3 years. 2 Years into owning this keyboard and I'm at 9 keys having a yellow tint to them.
