My biggest reason for the lack of a 5 star is the weight. This keyboard is heavy. I purchased this because I was on vacation needed a keyboard to do some homework so I picked this one. The price was right it has blue switches which i was enthralled over. However when I pulled this keyboard out to use it I was appaled at the weight. This is a TKL version of a keyboard i have full sized keyboards that weigh less than this. I ended up returning it. If your using this on a desk the weight wont matter but if you put this on your lap it will be heavy.

I like mechanical keyboards (clicky!), and it’s his Christmas gift, so whatever! Also I like how easy it is for him to clean, the good warranty, and that the keys are swappable should one go out after warranty (I think this one requires the shell to be taken off, but supposedly no soldering needed. )

So i decided on this one and wow i've been missing out for a long time. I had an old saitek keyboard from 8 years ago and it amazes me how far keyboard have come. With the swappable keys i believe this is future proof and will probably last me another 10 years. Very worth the initial investment.

Its small being a tkl so be mindful of that, this version I got has the clickey keys, but everything responds very well. Only thing I would like, which isn't a deal killer me, is dedicated media controls. But overall a great board.
