overall disppointing - surround sound is awful

I don't know where these great reviews came from, the surround sound on this is awful if you're playing valorant. The surround sound would be great for something like a movie but gaming? no way. You cant tell where the minor sounds are like footsteps cause they all sounds like theyre literally surrounding you. Theres no actual directional surround sound happening. Besides that, I used the lightspeed mode and it randomly disconnected twice and ive played for 2 hours... so otherwise the headset is nice. Can't speak for the mic because i use a separate mic. I did adjust the settings and nothing helped. Also the BASS is so loud!! .. whats the point of that...

These gave me immediate headaches and ear pain. There was no give when wearing them, they pushed against my ears and head and were unwearable.

I’ve experienced a lot cheaper sets of headphones with better quality, and the microphone was absolutely absolutely horrible. It came with lots of additional items for customizations, but I care more about the functionality rather than the accessories. It was comfortable, but not very functional which is what I needed for my business. It also kept disconnecting nonstop on me and it had a really hard time connecting to Bluetooth. It was not a straightforward easy thing to use so I ended up actually returning this item.

    Decent Headphones, Bad Microphone

I know wireless microphones are typically worse but the quality on this headset's mic is frankly terrible for how much it costs. I do enjoy the swiveling earcups over my older, wired Pro X headset but I ultimately wound up returning it.

Owned product for less than a year and already it has troubles staying connected and the microphone no longer works at all. Sound quality is alright - nothing special at all and no bass boosting. Headset will disconnect randomly from the dongle/bluetooth forcing a restart of the headset. This happens at least once an hour for me.

Big disappointment from Logitech on this headset. Constantly disconnected over and over and over. Troubleshooting did not fix anything. I’m assuming the headset received had a bad part in it. Comfort level was a 4 out 5. The software to change mic settings was very in depth. The most in depth I’ve ever seen on a headset without a stand alone amp.

[Employee of bestbuy] Bass is ok, but it's high's and mid's are just average. It's not a really great option for consoles since g hub won't save eq settings internally to the headset. The mic is very sub par. Not worth a full $249.99. Only grab one if you're getting a sweet deal. Otherwise look to the Audeze Maxwell, VZR MODEL ONE or Steelseries Nova Pro Wired for better experiences.

    My new favorite gaming headset

PROS: - Very lightweight - Great audio - Extra ear pads included - Detachable mic - Folding ear cups CONS: - USB cable is for charging only This might be the most comfortable gaming headset I’ve ever used, even for multiple hours (especially with the extra soft ear cups). If you stick with the stock “fake leather” ear cups, you get decent noise-isolation, but my ears do start to get warm pretty quickly. I really do appreciate that Logitech included two different ear cups made of different materials, allowing you to choose what works best for you. Another great “feature” about this headset: no software needed! You have three ways to connect the headset: (1) using the Lightspeed USB dongle, (2) Bluetooth, and (3) the 3.5mm headphone jack. What device you want to connect to will really depend on what connection you use. For PC, the Lightspeed dongle is the way to go; for PS5/Xbox/Switch, I like using the 3.5mm cable, and use Bluetooth for my phone/tablet. While you don’t need to use any Logitech software, you won’t get access to the EQ without it. The audio is great, it might even be best in a gaming headset I’ve used. I like to just use one headset for gaming and music, and thankfully the G Pro can do both VERY well (especially once you dial-in your preferences using the EQ). Mic quality is pretty good. Everyone said my mic sounded clear. I appreciate that the mic is removable, just make sure you don’t lose it. However, if you do lose it (or want to upgrade the quality), Logitech does sell a mic for the G Pro that they partnered with Blue (I haven’t bought it, yet). My only real complaint about the G Pro is that the included USB cable is for charging ONLY. So, if you are at your PC and need to use the headset while charging, you need to take up two USB ports: one for the Lightspeed dongle and one for the USB cable going to the headset. If ports are limited, you can switch to Bluetooth, but still annoying.

Headset imaging during fps games is lacking. Ear sat on the driver making it uncomfortable after 30 min. I returned for Blashark V2 pro. I wish the memory foam in the cushions was more dense.
