    Uncomfortable Palm Grip

I'm small righty palm grip kind of guy. This mouse doesn't feel comfortable/natural at all. Especially, the rear section which feels kinda narrow and lumpy to rest my hand on. The performance is great but I would not recommend this mouse to a friend.

I purchased this mouse because I wanted to move over to a wireless mouse. It was meant to replace my logitech G502. I like the design and it is comfortable in the hand, but the buttons (L/R/Sides) will randomly decide to not work. After some research I found this was a common problem with this mouse. Seems to be a quality control issue on logitechs part.

    Lives up to the Hype

After reading an overwhelming amount of glowing reviews for this mouse online, I was dead-set on buying it. I've used it for almost a week now, and I can confirm that the mouse is indeed worth the price and does not disappoint the hype it's generated. I've been using a SteelSeries Sensei for almost 4 years now after I started getting terrible wrist pains from constant use of more "ergonomic" mice (prior to the Sensei, I was using a 1st-gen G700 wireless and before that, the 1st-gen G9). I claw my mice, so most ergonomic shapes had a weird effect on my wrist for whatever reason. I used a standard ambidextrous mouse at work and noticed pain wasn't present during the use of it, and that's how I ended up switching to the Sensei. Anyways, though I loved the shape and customizability of the Sensei, the software always had weird quirks (the automatic switching between profiles based on detected games/programs was hit or miss more often than not) and it was a little inconvenient having to configure my devices from two separate program. I waited for Logitech to develop a mouse with the same design and button layout as the Sensei for what seemed like forever, but I'm glad I did. Customizing the buttons/lighting via the Logitech Gaming Software was just as straightforward as it is with their other gaming peripherals, and the automatic profile switching was very reliable. The mouse also has the ability to store a few profiles internally if LANing is your thing. Overall feel of the mouse is great. The left and right button clicks have a satisfying click to them, almost reminiscent of striking a key on a mech KB. You can choose to have the two side buttons on the left only, two on the right only, or have all four side buttons at the same time (which is my current setup). The buttons are secured/removable by way of a small magnet that holds on to small metal points on the buttons themselves. I was initially afraid that i'd lose a side button because of this design feature, but was pleasantly surprised to find that the magnets themselves were pretty strong at keeping the buttons secured. Those side buttons are also pretty satisfying to click, though maybe just tinge less clicky in my opinion. Scroll wheel has nice solid clicks, and can be changed to a free-scrolling wheel with the push of the button directly below it (one of my favorite features in some of the modern Logitech mice). The skates glide pretty effortlessly on most surfaces, and combined with it's relative light weight, makes it a pleasure to wield. I recommend using it on a hard surface mouse pad. The wireless connectivity is also another one of its high points. Most people don't associate wireless mice with gaming, but I think this mouse makes a strong case for it. I play a lot of games that require quick, sudden movements (DOTA 2, BF4, Overwatch), and have not noticed any type of latency or input lag between the mouse and my games, which is great. I also haven't noticed any broken connections/interference with the wireless either, which was surprising considering the plethora of wireless devices in my home. Battery life is pretty awesome. I've been gaming for about 3 hours a day on average the past week and have yet to charge the mouse (I charged the battery to full as soon as it was unboxed.) The battery level can be seen via the Logitech Gaming Software, and you can also bind one of the mouse buttons to display the remaining battery life as well. Despite it's high price, this mouse is still extremely solid and will prove to be a valuable asset to your gaming rig setup. The excellent button feel, reliable wireless connection, and integration with the Logitech Gaming Software makes this mouse almost a must-have for anyone wanting a high quality experience in their mouse.

    Excellent Functionality

I think the chroma fad is kind of silly, however the functionality this mouse provides beyond that is incredible. It has 4 customizable slots for hotkeys, 2 on each side. This allows the mouse to be entirely ambidextrous for left and right handed people. The frictionless scroll rolls like a breeze and the tracking is smooth as butter. The adjustable tracking speed also offers plenty of options for different players. However, best of all is the wired option. The mouse offers 36 hours of total use time, for convenient use in a confined space, but also can be wired for higher tracking accuracy and uses a very high quality woven fiber micro usb cable. Very happy with this purchase.

    Great mouse

This has been a great mouse. Picked it up at my local Best buy. I've been using this mouse for over a month now and haven't had any issues. Having the choice of what side of the mouse I want the side buttons on is a major plus. No more accidental button presses like with my ouroboros. The clicks of each button feel wonderful and consistent. Battery life is also impressive. With alittle tweaking of the LEDs I am able to get 30hrs of life. Honestly though I only have to charge the mouse a couple times a week. I work and game on the same PC so having a long battery life and not being tied down to a cable is excellent! As minor as it is, having a power switch on the mouse again is great! It does have a sleep function and wakes up instantly no more waiting a few seconds to do something. Being able to smoothly go from wireless to wired has made my life much easier. With my ouroboros I would have to unplug the cable from my PC wait a few seconds and then plug it back in any time I needed to switch from the wireless base to wired mode. It was a major issue I would have to deal with if the mouse died while working or gaming. Much lighter then I was expecting or used to, took a couple days to get accustomed to but not a big issue. Haven't had any tracking issues wired or wireless. Occasionally my ouroboros would have a moment where the tracking would just stop for a second.. It was quite frustrating. All in all the g900 has been leaps and bound better for my needs then the ouroboros was. I think $150 is a bit steep for a mouse, luckily I got it on sale for a much better price.

If you can swallow the price, which is still too high at half price discount, this is the king of gaming mice. It's agile and light and wireless. I personally needed the free scroll function and this is the only good gaming wireless option.

    An excellent product.

This review may sound a bit negative but I assure you it's not meant to be. This mouse is an excellent product and although I had a hic-up in understanding the setup process (there is virtually no manual), however one short call to the Logitech and it was explained and solved. Here's the truth, I was playing with a perfectly good Logitech 850, 7 button mouse that with the wireless keyboard cost less than one third of this product at full retail. I simply don't notice any real difference. Additionally, two of the 11 buttons are, for me at least, unusable due to the way I, and certainly 90% of the folks, hold the mouse. Yes, I understand the "ambidextrous" design, but that very feature makes those buttons unusable. I warned you this would sound negative, however, if you are a serious gamer and want that competitive 4ms edge, this is a fine product. I hesitate to give the product five stars not only for the reason stated above, but also for the other glaringly obvious "con" factor, it's price. There simply is no reason for this mouse to cost this much. However, if you can get along with six usable buttons (one less than my 805) and money is not a concern, the product does do what it advertises and delivers flawless, lag-free response times brilliantly.

    Best Mouse ever

So I had bought the wireless mamba first and it was heavy and the battery life was horrible after a week or so I decided to take it back and get the G900. This mouse is really light for a wireless mouse and the battery life is awesome. I have had this for a couple months now and absolutely love this mouse. Perfect for gaming which what I use it for mainly (FPS games). If you want a wireless gaming mouse don't bother trying out the others this is the one to use.

    Wireless Gaming Mouse Redefined

This is one of the wireless gaming mice I have used to date. There is minimal latency and the battery life is respectable while untethered. The software is solid but is buggy at times, particularly when switching between applications with custom programmed mouse commands. Overall, I highly recommend this mouse to gamers looking for a wireless solution.

Its a lot bigger then a typical mouse and its heavier. I would recommend seeing it in store if possible prior to buying it to see if you like the feel. Next you download software on your computer and you can change the keys to suit your gaming or change the colors of the mouse and overall I have grown very fond of it.
