The extra buttons are honestly a plus for you as well so you can have hot keys.

Downside is that it needs to be plugged in if you want a custom backlight. I use this for work and the rainbow gradient is super annoying, and its default setting is to turn off the backlights after a few minutes, which makes the keys super difficult to see if you work into the early evening in low light conditions.

I’ve used the same keyboard for the past 2 years and I love it a lot.

I bought it for the extra macro keys on the side. Being both bluetooth and 2.4ghz is a definite plus. This model has the clicky keys which is annoying for anyone not pushing the keys.
