great setup for racing games love it feels good its a must get!

I bought this after playing F1 2020 for a few weeks with a controller and thinking to myself "this ain't it". After just a few days with the G923 I feel like my entire experience with sim racing has changed for the better. And my lap times have proved immensely. I'm having fun on a video game for the first time in years. I'll skip all the fine points that others have pointed out and get right to the punch. It sounds like the big win with this unit is the TrueFeel, which half of sim racers seem to be skeptical about, instead preferring the T300. To someone who has no experience in the racing sim arena, but has driven high performance sports cars, I have no complaints with the feeling or noise coming from the wheel (quieter than an analog sports car by a long shot). In terms of set up it was pretty much plug and play out of the box. I had to adjust some wheel settings for F1 specifically, the biggest one being changing the operating range of the wheel in G-Hub from 920 to 540 - at 920, it was impossible to get the wheel around in time to make an opposite turn. This one adjustment completely changed the feel so if you're having some issues with it out of the box, look at some YouTube videos and articles specific to your game and someone has probably figured it out. With anything Logitech the build quality is what you expect - really solid. Wire management is great, and the clamps/vice used to keep the steering wheel on a desk (if not mounting with hardware) is really solid and easy to mount or take off. My only real concern is just long term use of a leather steering wheel - I'll probably find some racing gloves and keep some sanitizer closer by to avoid wear and tear.

This is a great starter wheel. I bought this instead of a direct drive unit at first to see if I would really get into sim racing, and I think this provided an excellent experience. Not a ton of resistance but enough feedback to elevate your experience. The button layout is nice, especially since I was used to racing with a controller anyways. The paddles aren’t very tactile feeling, but there’s a good click and I didn’t mind them. The pedals are also very decent. The brake pedal has good progressive resistance, maybe even too much. But you can always adjust your in game brake sensitivity and also in Logitechs G Pro app. Oh and the pedals have a nice little spikes strip that flip down on the bottom side to give it traction when using it on carpet. It works amazing! I never had issues with the pedals moving around, and it didn’t leave any marks or damage my carpet. Overall I would definitely recommend this to someone who just wants to casually race and have a better experience, or as an entry sim setup that doesn’t break the bank if you’re unsure if you’ll stick with it.

Great feel for a steering controller, the Truforce force feedback is awesome, the pedals feel quality as wel. I'll be buying it again very soon.

I bought this to play BeamNG and Assetto Corsa, and as an entry racing wheel, it's been pretty okay. The wheel feels a bit small but the feedback is neat and the construction is solid. The pedals feel a bit cheaper, and I think they could build in better floor grips so they're not sliding around so easily when you have to apply full brakes. Great starter set for folks new to racing games and want a better experience than a controller. If you're looking for the best of the best, I'd consider other options.

I don't want to bash the most up to date wheel out there so 4 stars. Only thing I didn't particularly enjoy, was the size of the wheel overall, and the snappyness of the steering. The wheel felt small in the hands and almost go kart-ish. I tried a ton of settings recommendations online, but it still was way too erratic. Quality was awesome all the way around. Brake pedal feels great. Leather was top notch.

The wheel is great for the price, it has multiple extra buttons that are nice, but only work on one game on xbox that being Assetto Corsa Competizione. The force feedback is pretty good considering it’s a gear driven wheelbase and true force is a pretty cool feature for the games that support it. The wheel gets fairly loud when playing certain games, especially when going off-road in Forza Horizon 5. The pedals are pretty good especially the break pedal, it has a point where it’s not very stiff then gets much stiffer which is helpful when driving cars that don’t have ABS as that point is about where the brakes start to lock up. The only real issue I’ve had is that there isn’t enough force feedback for certain things, for example when drifting if you go over a curb you lose the fine details of the force feedback. Otherwise I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely like to upgrade to the G PRO in the future as Logitech has proven that they have good quality products for a good price.

Amazing racing wheel with real time pull and steer on all types of racing games. Locked in with a good racing seat and game to play on, this wheel take the cake. Well done Logitech!

Really nice racing wheel. They've come a long way since the last time i had one. I definitely recommend this product.

Honestly its really fun to use on games like forza, American trucking simulator, and beamng drive i also use it when i race on iracing and works perfectly

The best steering wheel hands down. I used this thing every single time I jumped on Forza Horizon 4 on the Xbox series s and it is BEYOND worth it. The feedback is awesome and you can feel everything. The only con I would say is that sometimes the feedback doesn’t register when the a controller is already connected, but it’s an easy fix, cut off the controller, unplug and replug the wheel to your system and it resets and works perfectly.

Just for about 60dollars more the true force Logitech wheel is a blast to mess with compared to the “non-true force wheel.” Which I have tested both of them, it provides an excellent experience when racing and feels so realistic! Although my only complaint would be with how close the pedals are to one another, I always tend to hit the break and clutch at the same time which interferes with shifting and breaking.

This wheel is a really great entry point into wheel racing. It's not crazy expensive or in depth like other sim racing setups, but is better than a controller

Recently purchased this wheel because the G920 is still unavailable and purchasing a used one at nearly the price of a new unit wasn't sitting well with me. Overall, the wheel despite carrying the same design and dual motor system since the G29 looks and feels great. It responds as it should and the TrueForce feedback compared to non-TrueForce games definitely has a small and noticeable feel. But ultimately isn't a game changer nor will it make you any faster. I tested this new feature with Assetto Corsa Competizione and GRID (2019). This wheel has disappointed me with its lack of driver and developer support for a wheel that carries the same characteristics as the G920. Games like Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon wouldn't even recognize the wheel. While on Forza's website they even show support for the G920 and G29 wheels but not the G923 at this time. Other titles like Nascar Heat and Need for Speed while recognizing the wheel had underlying issues where responsiveness and inverted responses with the pedals were the main focus of issues. F1 2019 played and felt great but required a controller to assist with setup in the beginning as each button and pedal had to be assigned individually. Looking forward to trying out the wheel with another Racing Sim iRacing. If you are looking to buy this as an upgrade to the G920 and G29. Wait. If this is your first ever wheel and you are looking for a quality wheel. Thrustmaster has one slightly cheaper but from other reviews but getting similar pedals (sold separately) would end up pushing you right back into the G923 price. If you have the flexibility to spend a little more I would have gone with a Fanatec wheel bundle set. Overall, I feel this wheel was pushed out to the market ahead of schedule without the support from the big developers regardless if you were planning on playing PC or Console. I knew about having to manually assign or customize layouts with some titles. But for a wheel that is said to support Xbox and PC and yet wont even work with their very own titles was truly disappointing. Hoping for a update that will fix this to come out soon regardless if its from Logitech or Microsoft. Will update as new information comes available.

Awesome set up…gives real feedback almost like driving a real car…allowing me to play a race game with my one working hand and feet, that my disability would have prevented me from enjoying..and my friends without disabilities really thought that the controls , together with a seat on the couch or chair in front of my flat screen made the game almost as realistic as driving a car on the road.
